Putri Munawwarah Sentenced To 3 Years In Jail
JAKARTA – The trial verdict against the defendant of a
“terrorism” case, Putri Munawwarah, which took place on Thursday 29th July
2010 in the State Court, South Jakarta, ultimately sentenced Putri to three
years imprisonment.
The sessions began at 12:40 hour local time and ended at around 13:30 hour.
It was attended by many supporters of Putri Munawwarah, especially from
amongst the women. Before the trial began, the women, a majority of them
wearing veils, had set up a banner which says "FREE PUTRI MUNAWWARAH & HER
BABY FROM THE BARBARISM OF DENSUS 88 AND ITS ALLIES (LAKNATULLAH 'ALAIKUM
AJMA'IN)", but this action was stopped immediately by the officers after
being asked by the judge.
At last, the presiding judge Ida Bagus Dwiyantara pronounced: “bringing to
justice, declaring the defendant legally and convincingly violating Article
13 b PERPU (substitute for government regulation laws) No. 2002 about the
eradication of terrorism criminal offence and amended to UU (Law) No.
15/2003. Convicting the defendant to 3 years imprisonment minus the
detention period.” The spectators right away let out cries of takbeer and
disappointment over the rulings believed to be oppressive to Putri
Munawwarah, a former Qur'an teacher at Pesantren Al-Kahfi Mojosongo. During
the trial, judge Ida Bagus Dwiyantara spoke with a very low and unclear
voice, this had made the visitors protested, "Mister, this is an open court
hearing, not a hearing of whispers" said a veiled woman who sat in the
second row. The judge then asked Putri Munawwarah whether to accept the
verdict, or think to appeal, she was given a period of seven days.
Although this decision was lighter than the demands of the JPU (public
prosecutor) i.e. eight years, the TPM (Team of Muslim Lawyers) disagreed
with the reasoning of the judge about the existence of an agreement between
Putri and her husband, Adib Susilo, as referred by Ahmad Michdan, Putri's
lawyer: "The fact of the trial was clear that she had expressed to her
husband, asking who those visitors were and until when would they be there?
Meaning, there is no element of basic agreement in receiving the guests.
This is the difference in judgement between us and the panel," Ahmad, said
after the trial in the State Court, South Jakarta, Thursday (29/7/2010) as
quoted from Kompas.
The decision of the judge who penalized Putri for two years in jail is very
oppressive. In this particular case Putri is clearly not guilty. Putri
stated that she never knew that her husband's guest who stayed in their home
was Noordin M. Top. After the hearing, the women visitors took action by
giving speeches outside the courtroom while again unfurling the banner. This
action was as an expression of disappointment over the decision of the
trial. “Putri is utterly innocent. This is all oppression against the
Muslims on the pretext of combating terrorism. If we are accused of being
terrorists, then give birth to the terrorists from your womb, O mothers,”
said some of the content of the protest and demonstration, spontaneously
organized by the Muslimah who attended the hearing of Putri Munawarah. One
thing that should have become the concern of the judge in adjudicating Putri
is that, Putri is having a child who is still an infant and all these while
has been treated in custody. So, it is a very oppressive action if Putri is
till sentenced to 3 years in jail while she also has to take care of her
baby. Therefore, the resistance must continue, the fight is not over! Allahu
Akbar!
Kremlin's new strategy: kill Umarov, remove Kadyrov, appoint Gantamirov Operative sources of the leadership of the Caucasus Emirate have info regarding new plans of the Kremlin, which is desperately trying to bear down resistance of the Mujahideen of the Caucasus before the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. Sources say that masters in the Kremlin have come to an agreement that Putin's personal project "Kadyrov" has used up its resources and capabilities. Moscow believes that the consolidation of Muslims into the Caucasus Emirate is the most dangerous factor today threatening the presence of Russia in the Caucasus.

"Delegitimization" of Israel: The New Buzzword of Pro-Israel Activism The very idea of "delegitimization" came from a report issued by the Reut Institute, an Israeli think tank, entitled "The Delegitimization Challenge." According to this report—which is now the basis for the activism by American Jewish groups—the main global threat facing Israel is not Iranian military nuclear capability or Palestinian terrorism, but the international campaign in the West, including on American campuses, aimed at boycotting Israel through divestment and sanctions. In response, the Israeli government has not only mobilized American Jewish groups on its behalf but has initiated a campaign to turn every Israeli into a traveling public relations officer, with the Information and Diaspora Ministry issuing pamphlets to passengers on Israeli airlines, coaching them on how to counter the alleged anti-Israel campaign.

the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Gen Petraeus’ new war strategy “mass murder” There are speculations that the ousted Gen Mc Chrystal’s successor, Gen Perraeus, who has been chosen by the mutual consent of the White house and Pentagon, would hit the mark in six month’s time, that is, break the Mujahideen resistance across the country and enable the Kabul puppet administration to stand up for itself accelerating part of the troops’ withdrawal process from the country in a way that it may not affect the remaining troops on the ground in Afghanistan.

SMS Texts Of
Support For Putri Munawwaroh Ahead Of The Trial Verdict
JAKARTA – Approaching the trial verdict against the female defendant of a
“terrorism” case, Putri Munawwaroh, scheduled for Thursday 29th July 2010, a
SMS text message containing an invitation to attend the hearing was
circulating amongst the Islamic activists, especially in the area of
Jakarta. Putri Munawwaroh is the widow of the late Susilo Adib who was
killed by the Densus 88 team on the night of 27th Ramadhan last year. Also
killed in the late night raid were Noordin M Top, Urwah alias Bagus Budi
Pranoto, Mistam Husamudin alias Aji and Susilo Adib. Putri Munawwaroh
survived the attack after being heroically protected by her husband who died
with the face destroyed by gunshot bullets. Now it is almost the month of
Ramadhan again, meaning Putri Munawwaroh had been in jail for nearly a year
with her son who was born while in prison and given the name Muhammad Ahsanu
Syuhada. The SMS text message of appeal and support was noticed to be
circulating since Monday 26th July 2010, as received by the editorial of
MuslimDaily in Jakarta.
The content of the SMS says: "JIHAD GLOBAL COMMUNITY: Ikhwanifidien... Insha
Allah, Thursday 29/7 at 09:00 hour, a VERDICT against ukhtina fillah Putri
Munawwaroh (Indonesia's first female defendant in the “terrorism” case) will
be set, in the District Court, Amprera Raya Road, South Jakarta. Hoping for
supports from Islamic mass organizations to invite the akhwats in their
surroundings to be present at the verdict against the concerned as a form of
Ukhuwah Islamiyah.... PLEASE PASS ON!" It is just appropriate the we as
Muslims should respond to these calls, for those who are capable, because
moral support is very needed for a woman who is being tyrannized. Hopefully
this appeal can be taken seriously by the Islamic organizations and Muslims
who hear and know about this information.
Once again, is the West’s Frankenstein out of control? While Israel demolishes Palestinian homes and expropriates the properties of absent Palestinians by forcibly expelling them from their homes, it demands that Arab countries return the possessions of the Jews who used to live in them. It expels African children from Israel so that it remains ‘Jewish and white’. Reading Mya Guarnieri’s article “children are just Israel’s latest victims” in The Guardian (July 20, 2010) makes you disgusted at a policy that does not give value to any human being or any human relationship. What makes you angry is that such a policy receives support and funding from most western countries which never tire of talking about human rights and freedom.
Anglo-American Political Philosophy 101: The Poor Must Die The savage cutbacks and vast, churning upheavals being pushed through, at breakneck speed, by [Britain's] new Conservative government...will send millions of people tumbling down into a permanent underclass -- and...gut the national health service with a stealth "Americanization" that will turn the operation of local doctors' offices over to private firms...and privatize public hospitals, allowing them to "fail"...if they don't produce enough cash for their elite shareholders.
7 Secret Ways We Are Being Poisoned The objectivism of the scientific method seems to have been hijacked by corporations who often pay for scientists to support their products, as well as politicians who move through the revolving door between the private and public sector. Even worse is that sometimes the consumer protection agencies themselves are complicit.
“America’s First Jewish President” According to a nationally prominent Zionist spokesperson, former Congressman, Federal Judge, White House Counsel to President Bill Clinton and early backer of Obama, Abner Mikvner, “Barack Obama is the first Jewish President”. Mikvner’s affirmation reflects both Obama’s one-sided and longstanding commitment to the State of Israel and loyalty to the Zionist Power Configuration (ZPC) in the United States, as well as the long-term and successful effort of a network of financially and politically powerful Jewish Zionists to ‘embed’ Obama to their ‘Israel First’ political apparatus.
It’s A Great Time To Be A New College Graduate: High Unemployment, Crappy Service Jobs And Crippling Student Loan Debt Today, America's best and brightest are graduating from college full of hopes and dreams, but cold, hard economic reality is rapidly crushing many of them. Record numbers of college graduates cannot find jobs. Hordes of others have been forced to take very low paying service jobs. At the same time, student loan debt loads have become more crushing than ever. The truth is that it is a really, really bad time to be a fresh college graduate. After spending tens of thousands of dollars and investing four (or more) years of their lives in an education, millions of recent college graduates find themselves waiting tables, tending bar, delivering pizzas and working next to (or subordinate to) people who never even went to college. At one time, a college degree was an automatic ticket to the middle class, but now for many Americans all a college degree means is crushing loan payments, sleepless nights and mind-numbing frustration.

Women and Jihad Fie Sabilillah All the nine requirements apply in the state of jihad that is fardhu kifayah, if jihad is upgraded to fardhu 'ain, then the four preconditions would be dropped i.e. free, male, parental consent and permission to the debtor from the creditor. Therefore, the preconditions during the jihad that is fardhu 'ain are only five; Islam, baligh, sane, free from fatal physical defect and the availability of funds. Here, even the requirement of the availability of funds will be dropped when the enemies are attacking into the country (invasion).

Statement of the Islamic Emirate regarding the US setup of new "Local Militia" General David Petraeus, the chief of invading forces in Afghanistan, has taken on a task, by the order of White house and Pentagon rulers, to increase notorious militia under the name “Local Force” against Mujahideen. The right-wingers’ setup and expansion of Militia is a terrible and failed plan carried out at the time of Najeeb’s rule during the Communist Regime which not only resulted in fueling the racial prejudice and civil war but also brought that infamous regime to an end.
Wikileaks a CIA disinformation front Recently Wikileaks has made startling revelation that the Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has been assisting the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in fighting the American and NATO invaders. Wikileaks which become famous when in April, it released a video footage from an American helicopter cockpit showing a deadly 2007 aerial strike in the Iraqi capital that killed 12 civilians, including two journalists from the Reuters news agency, thus building a reputation as a publisher of classified videos and documents. We know there are thousands of videos which already exist on the internet which have captured American soldiers crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, but for some mysterious reasons the video which was released by the Wikileaks was propagated with a zeal, the mainstream media projected Wikileaks as a authentic source, which is working to propagate truth, without any involvement with any intelligence services, to build this public image of Wikileaks, Wikileaks released video was used as a building block, thus the public mindset was now ready to except anything Wikileaks published. CIA propaganda through Wikileaks about the Pakistan (ISI) and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is a follow up on the United States Secretary of State Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton claiming that Amir ul Momineen Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid and Sheikh Osama bin Laden were in Pakistan. In these ludicrous and sinister disinformation campaigns against Pakistan is hidden a very dangerous agenda of Israel and America.
CIA, Mossad and Soros behind Wikileaks: Suspicions
abound that Wikileaks is part of U.S. cyber-warfare operations
WMR has learned from Asian intelligence
sources that there is a strong belief in some Asian countries, particularly
China and Thailand, that the website Wikileaks, which purports to publish
classified and sensitive documents while guaranteeing anonymity to the
providers, is linked to U.S. cyber-warfare and computer espionage
operations, as well as to Mossad's own cyber-warfare activities.
Wikileaks claims to have decrypted video footage of a U.S. Predator air
strike on civilians in Afghanistan and that covert U.S. State Department
agents followed Wikileaks's editor from Iceland to Norway in a surveillance
operation conducted jointly by the United States and Iceland. Iceland's
financially-strapped government recently announced a policy of becoming a
haven for websites that fear political oppression and censorship in their
home countries. However, in the case of Wikileaks, countries like China and
Thailand are suspicious of the websites' actual "ownership."

Russia is covered in smoke: especially the situation worsened in Moscow,
which was shrouded in acrid "mist" from the burning peatbogs.

Al-Somood Interviews The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Military Official For The Maidan Shahr District
I said previously that we can attack the enemy at any place in
Maidan Wardak province, but in order to harass and weaken the
enemy we concentrate on high-impact raids against the military
convoys that pass through the main corridor. At the beginning
of Mujahideen operations in this province, the Mujahideen were
few in number and the enemy possessed vast military resources.
So we were planting mines and carrying out surprise attacks.
These methods brought positive results and sapped the enemy’s
strength. Now the number of Mujahideen has increased and the
enemy is overcome by weakness. So in addition to planting
mines, launching surprise raids and setting up ambushes, we
also carry out military clashes.
As a result of these operations, the
enemy has sustained huge losses in soldiers killed and tanks
destroyed and loss of various equipment as booty. The proof of
what we say are these Ranger military vehicles and Surf
vehicles each of which carry markings indicating that they
belonged to the military units and brigades of the army of the
puppet administration in Kabul.

Cannon, media misfire with Afghanistan spin One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the Canadian government’s relentless effort to spin the war in Afghanistan in a positive light. Equally gobsmacking is the number of media flunkies who all too eagerly give voice to this misleading nonsense. Just last week, after a brief visit to Kabul, the foreign affairs minister garnered the headline "Cannon sees ‘strong signs’ of Afghan progress" in some Canadian newspapers.
You Could Also Be Entitled For Paradise!
Once upon time, there was this woman who confessed to have sinned. Since
then she no longer wanted to pray and utter zikr. Because to her, she was
already a dirty woman. No longer eligible to get the love of Allah. To the
extent that she did not want to pray any more. The more she broke the
commandments of Allah the more she dared toward Allah. She no longer wanted
to hope for paradise. Naudzubillah min dzalik...
Apocalypse in Central Africa: The Pentagon, Genocide and the War on Terror The U.S. "War on Terror" destabilizes popular governments, communities, and indigenous societies all over the globe. This has occurred more than anywhere else in the Great Lakes region of Africa, where people face absolute terrorism and grotesque atrocities--the complete destruction of everything they know--a.k.a. genocide. But genocide in Congo is off the agenda, in keeping with the prerogatives of private profit, western big business, white supremacy, and the politics of genocide.

US to vote against China-Pak nuclear deal at Nuclear Suppliers Group The United States has said that it will vote against China’s sale of nuclear reactors to Pakistan at the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) meeting. US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Non Proliferation, Vann Van Diepen, said this in response to a question during a hearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. When asked by Congressman Ed Royce whether the US would vote against the exemption for China, Van Diepen said: ‘Yes sir, by definition, we do not support any activity that goes against the guidelines’. The 46-nation NSG is an international forum designed to limit sales of nuclear technology. Earlier, Van Diepen had said that based on the facts available to the US, the ‘sale would not be allowed to occur without an exemption of the NSG’. He, however, added that while the US can vote against an exemption, it cannot stop China if it decides to sell the reactors to Pakistan without special permission from the NSG, the Nation reported. China has signed a 2.4 billion dollar agreement with Pakistan to supply two 340-megawatt reactors. China and Pakistan have repeatedly said that the nuclear cooperation is for peaceful purposes and in line with international obligations of both the countries.
Exclusive Intifada Interview with Archbishop Theodosios
(Atallah) Hanna
EH: Main Evangelical Christians in U.S. and western
countries believe that the emergence of the state of Israel is promised by
God. They support Israel financially. What is the Orthodox Church’s position
on this matter?
AT: The Orthodox Church as all churches in the Holy Land refuses to
give excuses from the bible for the unjust treatment of the Palestinian
people.
I am very sorry to hear about some religious groups in the United States
that support the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. Such
support cannot be justified from a Christian point of view because
Christianity is against any sort of occupation and the injustice in it all
forms and rationalization.
These groups need to re-read their bible, because the bible calls us to
stand with the marginalized and the oppressed and not with the oppressors.
For those who use the bible to support Israel need to differentiate between
God\s promise and Balfour promise (Balfour Declaration), because the
occupation is the result of a promise given to the Israelis by Lord Balfour
and not by God.
God is innocent from the unjust actions of the Israeli occupation of our
land since ‘48 and until now.
Global Shame: Can Aggressors be Peacemakers Would the aggressors tell the humanity, when would they end the aggression? And when would their armed forces finally leave Iraq and Afghanistan? So that the victims could think openly and plan for change and peaceful transfer to making of their own future. This is the issue that the current gathering of the 70 or so nations avoided to discuss. The assembly was not for peacemaking but for prolonging the failing war efforts."

60 years of Indian worshippers of idols occupied army terrorists brutalities against the Muslims
"Stones in my hand Kashmir"
And If You Must… by the Mujahid Sheikh Ibrahim al-Rubaish May Allah Protect Him “If the people who are attacked are too weak to resist the infidels and their lives are in danger from the enemy, then it becomes an obligation upon the Muslims elsewhere, the closest and then the further, to join them and assist them with weapons, support and money. Although, we stated its obligation upon all people who have no religious excuse, they are relieved of this obligation if sufficiency is achieved. As long as this sufficiency is not achieved, they are not relieved of this obligation... But when all people are called to participate, as when the enemy invades any territory, it is an individual obligation (fard ayn) inclusive of each and every single Muslim individual who is regarded as able.

Russian invaders forced to acknowledge sabotage at Kabardino-Balkarian power station Since Wednesday morning, Russian occupation sources reported about a series of explosions at a hydro-electric power-station in Baksan, a town in the Russian-occupied Caucasian Emirate's Combined Province of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachai. Shortly after the first reports, a spokesman of the OAO RusHydro, the Russia's largest hydropower company, said it was a sabotage.
Western media indicate Emir Dokku Abu Usman fulfills his
promise
The destruction of the Baksan hydropower station by Caucasian
Mujahideen caused a vivid reaction in the world. Reuters reports from Baksan
(Caucasus Emirate) under quite a large subtitle "Economic War?" on the
successful operation by Caucasian Mujahideen: "Analysts said the raid
indicated rebels were fulfilling their promise to target economic
infrastructure as part of their fight to create an Islamic pan-Caucasus
state in south Russia.
UN court approves Kosovo's declaration of independence Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence from Serbia does not contradict the norms of international law, the president of the UN International Court of Justice (ICJ) said on Thursday. Serbia had claimed that Kosovo's secession violated its territorial integrity. The court's ruling was non-binding. Kosovo's independence was supported by the U.S. and a large number of EU states, while Russia has always maintained its strong opposition. ICJ president Hisashi Owada said international law "contains no applicable prohibition" of Kosovo's declaration of independence and that the court had ruled that "the declaration of independence on 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law." Ten of the court's judges supported the opinion, while four opposed it.
Kosovo’s ethnic Albanian leadership welcomed the court’s
decision. “This is a great day for Kosovo, and my message to the government
of Serbia is ‘Come and talk to us,’ ” Kosovo’s foreign minister, Skender
Hyseni, said after leaving the court, The Associated Press Reported. But
Serbia was adamant it would never recognize what it has previously called a
false state, while Russia, one of its staunchest allies, insisted the
court’s decision did not provide a legal basis for Kosovo’s independence.
The Serbian foreign minister, Vuk Jeremic, said the ruling could encourage
separatist movements elsewhere who would now be “tempted to write
declarations of independence.”
Honey kills bacteria: study If you start poking around into the history of honey, you'll find the stuff is revered in many early cultures. Honey is mentioned in the Bible, it was used to preserve corpses by the ancient Egyptians, was considered sacred during the time of Buddha, and the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) espoused its potential healing properties. But it's only been in recent times that science has been able to prove and explain the benefits that honey holds. Now a new study from researchers at the University of Amsterdam shows honey to be effective in killing bacteria that cause chronic sinusitis. Chronic sinusitis affects millions of people every year. In chronic sinusitis, the mucous membranes in the sinus cavities become inflamed, causing headaches, stuffy nose, and difficulty breathing. Though it can be caused by allergies, chronic sinusitis can also be caused by bacteria that colonize in the nose and sinuses. Researchers singled out three particularly nasty bacteria: two strains of staph bacteria, MSSA (methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus) and MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), and one called Pseudomonas aeriginosa (PA).
Mobile use
'can increase tinnitus' Regularly using a mobile phone could
increase the risk of tinnitus, experts say. The condition causes a noise in
the ear such as a ringing, roaring or hissing sound. Around 10 per cent to
15 per cent of adults have chronic tinnitus and it affects quality of life -
such as preventing sleeping - in up to 3 per cent of people. Now experts
from Austria believe there is a link between tinnitus and mobile phone use
after studying 100 people with the condition. Some 27 per cent of the group
had tinnitus in their right ear, 38 per cent in the left and 35 per cent in
both ears. Analysis showed that people who used a mobile phone on one ear
for four years or more were almost twice as likely to develop tinnitus in
that ear as those without the condition.
Meanwhile, people using a mobile for one to three years were 23 per cent
more likely and those using a mobile for more than 10 minutes a day had a 71
per cent higher risk. This compared to a 2 per cent risk if they used a
mobile for less than 10 minutes a day. The authors, from the University of
Vienna, said people are likely to over or underestimate their mobile phone
usage and the length of calls. They said there was a possible link because
the ear absorbs a considerable amount of the power emitted by a mobile
phone. The research was published online in the journal of Occupational and
Environmental Medicine.

Statement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan concerning Kabul conference American and its allies with the representatives from a number of other courtiers have gathered apparently to launch Kabul conference, the latest in succession of futile efforts, the ones ended into a failure as in the past, in order to hand over the military and administrative control of the country to the coming surrogate administration and review and monitor the past assistance evaluation.

The attack comes as the representatives of more than 40 countries came to take part in Kabul conference , believed to offer conditional assistance to Karzia puppet administration, whereas the Kabul conference, according to some to critics and diplomats, is likely to turn out to be a failure and as ineffective and useless as that of London conference.

NATO to stay
in Afghanistan after Afghans take over security
NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen told a major international
conference in Kabul on Tuesday that the alliance would remain in Afghanistan
even after Afghans take over responsibility for security. Afghan President
Hamid Karzai says his government is working to take full responsibility for
security in the war-torn country by the end of 2014 and Tuesday's conference
is seeking to lay out a roadmap to Afghan leadership. Rasmussen said
transition would be based on "conditions, not calendars" with NATO forces
working to train Afghan police and army to take the lead in protecting the
country from a nearly nine-year Taliban insurgency. "Transition will be done
gradually -- on the basis of a sober assessment of the political and
security situation, so that it is irreversible. "And when it happens,
international forces won't leave; they will simply move into a supporting
role," he said. "We have not come this far, at this cost, to falter just as
we see our common goal take shape."
9/11 attacks spawned big US government: report The US intelligence network created after the September 11, 2001 attacks is so unwieldy, even principal actors within it are unable to grasp its size, according to a two-year probe by the Washington Post published Monday. The newspaper's investigation found that nine years after the attacks on New York and Washington, the bureaucracy has become "so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work." Among the findings were some 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies working on counterterrorism-related programs, and 33 building complexes built or under construction to house top-secret work -- the same amount of space as nearly three Pentagons or 22 US Capitol buildings. The investigation also pointed out the bureaucracy's magnitude results in enormous redundancy and waste, with homeland security and intelligence programs carried out in some 10,000 locations across the country. Fifty-one federal and military commands located in 15 US cities are now dedicated to tracking the flow of money to and from Mujahideen networks, and with various agencies producing a whopping 50,000 intelligence reports each year, the volume is so large the Post said "many are routinely ignored."
BP to sell US$7 billion of assets to Apache to help pay
for Gulf spill cleanup BP PLC said Tuesday it is
selling several major assets including its natural gas production business
in Western Canada to Apache Corp. for US$7 billion to help pay the costs
from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The proceeds will go towards a
$20-billion fund to help pay cleanup costs and damages from the spill.
Apache has agreed to give BP a $5 billion cash deposit on July 30. A month
ago, BP said it planned to shed as much as $10 billion in assets over the
next 12 months. The company has spent about $4 billion so far on containing
and cleaning up the oil, as well as on damage claims from Gulf businesses.
BP selling Pakistan assets to pay for oil spill BP Plc plans to divest its exploration and production operations in Pakistan, as part of a plan to sell global assets to help pay for the worst oil spill in US history, a BP official said on Tuesday. "This process should be completed by December 2010," said Sabeen Jatoi, the BP spokesperson. "Pricing will be a matter for bidders. ... We will not be selling at a price that does not represent a good deal for BP shareholders." However, there are no bidders right now and BP is setting up its dataroom in Pakistan after which bidders will come forward as with any acquisition, Jatoi added. BP unveiled plans last month for about $10 billion in asset sales following the oil spill which has caused an economic and environmental disaster in five US states along the Gulf Coast. BP said in a statement that it had spent $3.95 billion on efforts to cap the well and clean up the spill.
China with a population of more then a billion passes U.S.
as top energy consumer For the first time in more
than a century, a country other than the United States consumed more energy
than any other nation, as China grabbed the top spot last year. Citing data
from the International Energy Agency, the Wall Street Journal reported
Monday that China was the world's most voracious consumer of energy in 2009.
China consumed 2,252 million tonnes of "oil equivalent" last year, topping
the U.S. tally of 2,170 tonnes by roughly four per cent. Oil equivalent is
the term the IEA uses to bring all forms of energy into a comparable form,
including crude oil, nuclear, coal, natural gas, hydroelectricity, wind and
solar power. China was forecast to overtake the U.S. at some point over the
next decade. But the global recession appears to have sped up the process as
its economy continued to expand at a double-digit pace while the U.S.
economy declined and oil consumption flatlined. Only 10 years ago, China's
energy consumption was half that of the United States. "The fact that China
overtook the U.S. as the world's largest energy consumer symbolizes the
start of a new age in the history of energy," IEA chief economist Fatih
Birol was quoted as saying. China had already passed the United States as
the world's largest polluter several years ago. With a population of a
little over 300 million, the United States still uses much more energy, per
capita, than China does.

Watch Video: Sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki Message to the American people (read the transcript in English, Russian and Arabic) But America thought that it could threaten the lives of others, kill and invade, occupy and plunder, and conspire without bearing the consequences of its actions. 9/11 was the answer of the millions of people who suffer from American aggression, and since then, America has not been safe. And nine years after 9/11, nine years of spending, and nine years of beefing up security, you are still unsafe, even in the holiest and most sacred of days to you, Christmas Day. So do you expect to transgress against others and yet be spared retribution? Your decision-makers, the politicians, the lobbyists and the major corporations are the ones gaining from your foreign policy, and you are the ones paying the price for it.

Israel To Get Largest Ever Military Handout From US The United States plans to provide Israel with its most extensive military aid package in history. Shapiro said that since Israel is facing some of the toughest challenges in its history, US President Barack Obama administration has asked Congress for nearly $2.775 billion in security assistance funding “specifically for Israel” in 2010.
Facts and Figures: The Homeless in America
($2.775 billion to be giving to Israel, could really
help these Americans)
One approximation of the annual number of homeless in
America is from a study by the National Law Center on Homelessness and
Poverty, which estimates between 2.3 and 3.5 million people experience
homelessness. According to a 2008 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development report an estimated 671,888 people experienced homelessness in
one night in January 2007. Some 58 percent of them were living in shelters
and transitional housing and, 42 percent were unsheltered.
One out of 50—or about 1.5 million—American children are
homeless each year, according to a 2009 study by the National Center on
Family Homelessness. The recession will force 1.5 million more people into
homelessness over the next two years, according to estimates by The National
Alliance to End Homelessness.
Obama aide dodges Syrian ambassador on Israeli nukes and Medea Benjamin on
’special relationship’ You will
see Syrian Ambassador to the U.S., Imad Moustapha, confront Shapiro on two
important issues: U.S. hypocrisy about Israel's nuclear weapons, and the use
by Israel of American weapons to kill civilians in Palestine.
"I'm always puzzled," Moustapha says. Why is it, whenever an American
official talks about the Israeli military advantage, "they will always,
always, never, never discuss the Israeli nuclear arsenal, which actually
exists, and we don't know why? Everyone in the world knows [Israel has a
huge nuclear arsenal]..."
Shapiro, nervous laughter: "I'm not going to be the first US official to
discuss you know, uh, Israeli um, um, nuclear--"
Moustapha: "Nuclear capacity"
Shapiro: "That's your words. But on the second point, I would say that when
we sell weapons to any country, we require end-use assurances that they will
be used properly, and we take seriously any suggestion that they haven't
been used properly, and we investigate and take action. I'll just leave it
at that."
British Jews Support Israeli War Crimes The Jewish community in Britain seems to be over the moon. A survey that was published a few days ago suggests that British Jews are nothing but ‘peace lovers’. The Guardian was also quick to report that 77% of “British Jews favour a 'two-state solution' in Israel”. In practice, this actually means that at least 77% of British Jews believe that millions of dispossessed Palestinians should continue to dwell in refugee camps and never be allowed to their homes, cities, and villages. I am actually far from impressed with British Jewry’s inclination towards peace.
The Killing Fields Of MNC's (Multi-National Corporations) The high costs of genetically-modified (GM) seeds and pesticides are pushing farmers into debt, and indebted farmers are committing suicide. If one adds the 200,000 farmer suicides in India to the 25,000 killed in Bhopal, we are witnessing a massive corporate genocide - the killing of people for super profits. To maintain these super profits, lies are told about how, without pesticides and genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), there will be no food. In fact, the conclusions of International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology for Development, undertaken by the United Nations, shows that ecologically organic agriculture produces more food and better food at lower cost than either chemical agriculture or GMOs. The agrochemical industry and its new avatar, the biotechnology industry, do not merely distort and manipulate knowledge, science and public policy. They also manipulate the law and the justice system.
Big Pharma Makes Another Killing The latest outrage against the health of humanity is the paltry fine levied against GlaxoSmithKline by our protectors, the Food and Drug Administration. The drug, Avandia, which was cited in 2007 as a potential danger, has indeed become one at the rate of around 500 heart attacks and 300 cases of heart failure per month. The fine of $2.1 billion after taxes — which may seem large to most — is less than a third of Glaxo’s annual profit. Avandia was not banned; by a 20-12 decision it can continue to be sold to the very same segment of the population that is likely to continue harming. The fine is nothing compared to the continued profits that will result from the FDA’s current refusal to pull this killer drug off the market.
The Genocide Behind Your Smart Phone Our biggest gadget makers—including HP and Apple—may inadvertently get their raw ingredients from murderous Congolese militias. A new movement wants them to trace rare metals from ‘conflict mines.’
Congress Passes Bankster Consolidation Bill
The Fed, of course, does not prevent financial crisis. It perpetuates
financial crisis at the behest of a cabal of international bankers — the
Rothschild’s of London and Berlin, Lazard Brothers of Paris, Israel Moses
Seaf of Italy, Kuhn, Loeb & Co. of Germany and New York, Warburg & Company
of Hamburg, Germany, Lehman Brothers of New York, Goldman, Sachs of New
York, and the Rockefeller Brothers of New York. The so-called financial
regulatory bill headed to Obama’s desk for signature “is not about cracking
down on big banks as some claim. Rather, this is about not wasting a crisis.
This is about using a traumatic event to increase government power and
control over the economy,” Ron Paul wrote earlier this month. This
“traumatic event” was engineered by the banksters and the Federal Reserve.
Democratic occupation: Debauchery, violence, sexual slavery
Notorious special forces unit of
the CIA "Blackwater" (now renamed to "security company" Xe Service) forced
Iraqi girls and women from Eastern Europe to be engaged in prostitution, and
the ArmorGroup company that guards the democratic US Embassy in Afghanistan
kept whole democratic brothels, the press reports. The American newspaper
The Washington Post told about the investigation, carried out by the Center
for Conscientiousness in State Policy. Mercenaries from the Blackwater
company, whose leadership does not hide the fact that it is waging crusade
war against Islam in Iraq and Afghanistan, is accused of these crimes.
Can The Book, “Temanku, Teroris? (My Friend, A Terrorist?)”, Remove
The Stigma Of Terrorism?
The fact is that, countries like America and its allies especially Israel,
which today are creating and producing the most orphaned children from
amongst the Muslimeen in Islamic countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq,
Palestina, Chechnya, Kashmir, Somalia, Moro, Patanni, Ambon, Poso and
others. How come, if it was them i.e. America and its allies, no one is
saying that they are terrorists? How come nobody condemns them? This is
surely unfair!
So, this is
really all about the problem of different perceptions. The perceptions that
are built upon a conviction of life which ultimately determine the
difference in someone's life path, as in the book "Temanku, Teroris?"
written by Noor Huda.

32 American soldiers committed suicides in June U.S. Army suffered 32 suicides in June, the highest number for a single month since January 2009, when the suicide rate in the Army began to spike. The boost in the number of suicides in June was likely driven by the "continued stresses on the force" caused by the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, said Col. Chris Philbrick, the director of the Army's suicide prevention task force. Twenty-one of them were on active duty, while 11 were in the National Guard or Army Reserve in an inactive status.
Paul The Liar Saul or
better known as Paul, is a Jew from the descendant of Benjamin (one of the
children of Prophet Shu’ayb AS) who had the ideology of the Greek
philosophies. It was he who actually founded the Christian doctrine as we
now know. He came from the town of Tarsus, Cilicia. From the historic
literature, Paul's entrance into the circle of the Christians was in around
the year 38 AD or 70 AD. At first he embraced the ideology of Farushin
which was very against the teachings of Prophet Isa AS (Jesus). When Jesus
was propagating his teachings of monotheism (tawheed), Paul was
amongst the staunchest opponents.

‘The world won’t say a thing’– Netanyahu on ongoing Israeli expansion
The story that Netanyahu said that
"America is a thing that can be easily moved,"
back in 2001. Good to have this knowledge inside the Beltway at last.
Below is a transcript of the Second-Intifadah era conversation, supplied by
Dena Shunra, a Hebrew<>English translator living and working in the United
States. Note that Netanyahu quotes his extremist father counseling him to
give up 2 percent of Hebron (during the Wye negotiations) so as to maintain
the Jewish settlements there and get people off Israel's back. And note that
Netanyahu's defiance about American opinion extends to the whole world. When
his interlocutor asks about world opinion re continued conquest/settlement,
he says, "The world won’t say a thing. The world will say we’re defending."
No help from Washington Obama was pleased to see Netanyahu, just as George Bush was once thrilled to confer with Ariel Sharon. The words the two presidents used in describing the Israeli dignitaries were almost identical. Sharon was called a "man of peace". Now Netanyahu seems to be inheriting the title, no matter that a few days earlier he ordered the massacre of peace activists on the Gaza-bound flotilla, no matter that on the same day Obama welcomed him, the Israeli group B'Tselem issued a damning report on the expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
Harvard Report Documents Media Bias and Misreporting
It called major media journalism biased, irresponsible, and sensationalist -
misreporting, distorting, exaggerating, misstating, or suppressing vital
truths - serving state and corporate interests over the common good,
including bankers controlling the nation's money, unpunished corruption at
the highest levels, democracy for the select few, sham elections, a de facto
one party state, imperial wars, occupation, and torture.
Petraeus promotes civil war in Afghanistan The Petraeus strategy calls for putting 10,000 job-hungry Afghan villagers on the Pentagon payroll. They will be given money and guns so that they can form militias and shoot and kill other members of their village who are asserted to be either pro-Taliban or opposed to the U.S./NATO occupation.
U.S. taxpayers who are experiencing devastating cuts in state and local budgets, layoffs of municipal workers, soaring tuition hikes in public colleges—all because of budget shortfalls—will see billions of their tax dollars go to fund the occupation of Afghanistan and pay the salaries of poor Afghans so that they can shoot other poor Afghans. This is a classic divide-and-conquer tactic used historically by all colonial powers to break up a united resistance by the people whose lands they occupy.
15 Mind-Blowing Facts About Wealth And Inequality In America The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Cliché, sure, but it's also more true than at any time since the Gilded Age. While politicians gloat about our "recovery," our poor are getting poorer, our average wages are still falling behind inflation, and social mobility is at an all-time low. But, yes, if you're in that top 1%, life in America is grand.
The U.S. Middle Class Is Being Wiped Out: Here's the Stats to Prove It The reality is that no matter how smart, how strong, how educated or how hard working American workers are, they just cannot compete with people who are desperate to put in 10 to 12 hour days at less than a dollar an hour on the other side of the world. After all, what corporation in their right mind is going to pay an American worker 10 times more (plus benefits) to do the same job? The world is fundamentally changing. Wealth and power are rapidly becoming concentrated at the top and the big global corporations are making massive amounts of money. Meanwhile, the American middle class is being systematically wiped out of existence as U.S. workers are slowly being merged into the new "global" labor pool.
IMF, EU suspend review on emergency loan to Hungary The IMF and EU decided on Saturday to halt a review on Hungary's funding program, warning that the current budget plan was not good enough and it should take further measures to improve poor fiscal conditions. IMF officials said in a statement that "many questions remain open" in negotiations with the Hungarian government, adding the IMF delegation, which has been in Hungary since July 6, would return to Washington to try to "reconcile the remaining differences." The IMF, The World Bank and the European Union granted Hungary an emergency standby loan of 25 billion U.S. dollars in November, 2008. The Hungarian government would like to alter portions of that loan agreement. The early return to Washington leaves the review unfinished. Unnamed government officials acknowledged "serious differences" on two issues - a special tax Hungary is ready to levy on banks and insurance companies this year, and its plans to cut the central bank governor's salary by three-quarters, local wire service MTI reported.
Big Oil Makes War on the Earth: The Gulf Coast Joins an Oil-Soiled Planet If you live on the Gulf Coast, welcome to the real world of oil -- and just know that you're not alone. In the Niger Delta and the Ecuadorian Amazon, among other places, your emerging hell has been the living hell of local populations for decades. Even as I was visiting those distant and exotic spill locales via book, article, and YouTube, you were going through your very public nightmare. Three federal appeals court judges with financial and other ties to big oil were rejecting the Obama administration's proposed drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico.

KGB General Kalugin: ROC and Radio Liberty are nests of Russian espionage Major General of the KGB Oleg Kalugin, who chose freedom and moved to the US as defector in 1990 and in 2002 sentenced in absentia to 15 years in the Gulag of the terrorist gang of KGB, now known as FSB, to cover up the traces (in the absence the courts are not recognized by the world's legal rules), gave an interview to Nik Krastev, analytical department employee of Radio Liberty, in English (this interview has not been published in Russian for obvious), told about Russian espionage in connection with the destruction of SVR's spy net in America.
India inflicting atrocities on innocent Kashmiris: JKLF-R Srinagar, July 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R has expressed serious concern over the worsening situation in the territory. The JKLF-R Chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that India was inflicting grave atrocities on the Kashmiri people. He said that Indian troops and police had martyred over two-dozen innocent Kashmiris in three months and detained hundreds of others in different jails under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA). “The police and troops barge into the houses of civilians, beat up the inmates and ransack their household belongings,” he said, adding that such tactics could not deter Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their liberation struggle.
Chavez asks: What is the Dutch Antilles? ... 21st century colonialism VHeadline News Editor Patrick J. O'Donoghue reports: President Chavez has criticized the fact that colonialism still holds sway in the Caribbean in the 21st century. Closing the Fifth International Forum on Philosophy in Caracas, Chavez has forecast that one day the region would consist entirely of independent republics, having thrown off the remains of colonialism. Referring to Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire, the President said they are situated in Venezuela's territorial waters and yet belong to the Netherlands. Then there are Las Malvinas/Falklands ... "twenty first century colonialism ... if we don't watch out, it will continue into the twenty second century, unless there's a world disaster before that." The President queried the fact that Venezuela borders on the Netherlands and France and quipped about the term the "Dutch Antilles ... "what is that?" The Venezuelan government has challenged the Dutch about one of that country's planes allegedly flying into Venezuelan airspace three times in so many days. The Dutch Defense Ministry replied that there was no sense in the accusations, denying that any of its planes had gone near Venezuela. Earlier in the year, the Dutch vigorously denied that the US military were spying on Venezuela from their base in Aruba.

Hypocrite Shia kafirs Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah:
Israel spies deserve death
(but
only in Lebanon, in Iraq their our buddies)
Hypocrite Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah says the main
purpose of Israeli spy networks in Lebanon is to create discord among the
Lebanese. (And what purpose does Israeli spy networks
have in Iraq Mr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah?)
The Hezbollah leader said on Friday that Israeli spies had
"inflicted major damages on Lebanon and therefore deserve capital
punishment." (Haven't the Israeli spies inflicted
major damages in Iraq, Mr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah? the answer is YES they
have, but you Shia kafirs have not issued a single Fatwa in condemning their
crimes against the people of Iraq, rather you Shia kafirs have joined the
Israeli spies in murdering millions of Iraqis, how do you explain this
hypocritical behavior of you Shia kafirs Mr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah?)
Nasrallah criticized Lebanon's judiciary system for taking the issue lightly
and urged authorities to show more seriousness. He said that the death
penalty should be carried out in the case of these spies without any
hesitation. (How about we implement this same policy
in Iraq, whenever we catch an Israeli spy or some one who is collaborating
with the Israel policy we lynch him, if this policy was to be implemented,
it would mean that we would have to lynch all the Shia kafirs in Iraq, and
you should be the first one to be lynched Mr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah the
hypocrite)

Canada to buy 65 F-35 jet fighters in C$16 bln deal Canada will buy 65 new fighter jets from Lockheed Martin Corp for C$9 billion ($8.6 billion), one of the biggest arms deals in the nation's history, Defense Minister Peter MacKay said on Friday. The first of the new generation Joint Strike Fighters will be delivered in 2016. The F-35s are designed to replace Canada's CF-18s, which are scheduled to reach the end of their working lives in about 2020. MacKay brushed off criticism from opposition legislators who say the planes are too expensive and who question why Lockheed Martin received a sole-source contract. The C$9 billion also covers weapons, training and equipment. MacKay said media reports of a separate C$7 billion 20-year maintenance deal. The JSF is set to be the world's costliest arms acquisition program. The United States alone is scheduled to buy 2,443 of the planes for more than $300 billion.
Statement Regarding the Blessed Kampala operations From the leaders of Harakat Shabaab Al-Mujahideen
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
With the atrocities perpetrated by Uganda against the Muslim Somali population
escalating, her forces, serving under the auspices of the African Union, grasp
every opportunity available to unleash their anger against Islam and the Muslims
by bombarding our innocent men, woman, and children with mortars day and night.
Carrying on with their scheme of unsettling the stability of this country and in
order to protect the corrupt leaders of the apostate regime, the enmity of the
crusaders has reached such a level that they bombard the densely-populated areas
of the Muslims with approximately 300 mortars a day. Families are massacred,
children are orphaned, women are widowed and close to two million Muslims have
been displaced, leaving behind their homes and settling in a barren land with no
access to the basic facilities of life.
But despite the many warnings that were directed towards this force to end their
brutal assault against our innocent population, their oppression only continued
to escalated. Whenever the Mujahideen face the invaders and resist their
oppression, the Ugandan and Burundian African Union Forces immediately respond
by targeting the markets and residential areas with their highly sophisticated
weapons.
We, the leaders of the Harakat Shabaab Al-Mujahideen, hereby claim
responsibility for the blessed operations in Kampala. In addition, we state that
these operations were carried out in order to heal the hearts of the believers
and to nurse the wounds of our ailing Muslims population, which has been, for
many years, bleeding and attending funerals for its sons and daughters who’ve
became victims of this cowardly shelling.
These blessed operations will, by the permission of Allah, act as a warning to
all the transgressing forces to stop their atrocities against the Somalia Muslim
population. Additionally, we inform the Ugandan population that what you are
experiencing today is a result of the flawed policies of your government; and
know that it is only a fraction of what our people go through on a daily basis
and its is from justice to retaliate in equal measure.
We also inform the countries who intend to send their forces to Somali that the
fate of your forces will not be any better that those who came before you. The
events of Kampala are still fresh in your minds and wise is he who learns from
the fate of others. As for you, the Muslims of Uganda, the time has come for you
to rush to the aid of your Muslims brothers in Somalia and stand together firmly
in their defences. This is an obligation of religion and creed. Finally, we
inform our brave Muslim Somali population that we will not hesitate to protect
them against the oppressors whatever the cost may be and whatever the distance
may be.
But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, and to His
Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not. Al-Munafiqoon

BASLER ZEITUNG: ''Russia is the most sinister country in Europe''
The Swiss newspaper Basler Zeitung published an article entitled "The
most sinister country in Europe" (Das finsterste Land in Europa) about the
brutalities of Russian occupation and terrorist gangs on the territory of the
Caucasus Emirate. These terrorists are being eliminated by Mujahideen in the
Caucasian Jihad. The article says in particular: "Russia has been condemned by
the European Court of Human Rights more than 150 times for roughest human rights
violations. 300 cases are still pending.
Russian terrorist gang of the FSB kidnaps civilian in Ingushetia. He was 'too religious' Sources in Ingush city Malgobek reported that a local resident Bekhan Bayaliyev, born in 1986, was kidnapped here on July 14, 2010. He was returning home in his car when he was stopped by members of the Russian FSB gang. He was grasped and taken away to an unknown location. A few hours later, his house was raided by masked Russian invaders. The sick father of Bayaliyev, his younger brother and his wife were in the house at that moment. Russians began to conduct a so-called "search", and placed grenades, ammunition and some papers in front of his father, wife and his brother. These were lists with names and addresses of puppet policemen.
son of al-Qaeda
leader Osama bin Laden tells that his father is still alive Omar
bin Laden, the son of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, said that his father is
alive but maintains he doesn’t know his whereabouts.
“My dad is on the earth but I don’t know where. He’s still alive. If that sort
of person dies, you could never make it a secret.” a foreign TV channel, quoting
Omar, reported on Thursday.
“I still love him — of course I do — he’s my father. That’s a normal human
situation. I miss him as a father but we are different.” the channel quoted him
as saying. Omar says if he got a male baby, he might call him Osama. It’s
traditional to use the grandfather’s name again.
To a query on voices in his head, he said: “When people get angry and upset they
say a lot of things they don’t mean. I don’t hear voices from my father in my
head — but I do dream about him a lot.” Omar was born in Saudi Arabia to Osama’s
first wife, Najwa.
Goldman Sachs Mafia Pays Hush Money to the S.E.C. Police
The New York Times reported yesterday that the criminal gang at Goldman Sachs is
paying a $550 million "fine" to the Securities and Exchange Commission to
"settle" their fraud case. If approved, the settlement would "represent only a
small financial dent for Goldman, which reported $13.38 billion in profit last
year." Meanwhile, Goldman Sach's shares rose 5% in after-hours trading alone on
the news adding about $3.5 billion in value to their market cap. Ah, life is
good for the banksters at the top of the pyramid, especially when the media is
on your side too. The New York Times piece went on to say:

In response to lawlessness of democratic authorities, Muslim women in France
put on medical masks Democratic regimes
around the world enjoy to talk about human rights, justice, progress,
civilization. However, when it comes to Muslims, all the hypocritical
rhetoric is thrown away and, and the true face of the Islam haters is
exposed.
Only about 1.5 thousand Muslim are wearing niqab (a veil covering woman's
face) in the whole France, according to experts. However, the vigilant
French democrats, strictly watching over their "values of freedom and
progress", which oblige woman to strip naked,
turning her into a humanoid animal to gratify the passions and a
reusable sex product, and protecting sodomites and sexual maniacs
of all colors and genders, seem concerned about the defense of society
against "obscurantism" of Islam.
US university suspends Muslim student group for Palestine protest In response to intense political pressure by multiple pro-Zionist organizations, the administration at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) recently decided to suspend Muslim students' right to assemble and practice their faith together on campus. Alleging that emails anonymously "leaked" to the university prove that the Muslim Student Union was responsible for a protest of Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren's campus appearance by eight UCI students, the administration plans to suspend the more than 250-member Muslim Student Union for a year beginning in September, and place it under intense scrutiny and disciplinary probation if the student group is allowed to re-apply for recognition in the fall of 2011.
What do you know about The Founder of Sha'ism: Abdullah ibn Saba? A Jew of Yemen, Arabia, of the seventh century, who settled in Medina and embraced Islam. Having adversely criticized Calif Othman's administration, he was banished from the town. Thence he went to Egypt, where he founded an antiothmanian sect, to promote the interests of Ali. On account of his learning he obtained great influence there, and formulated the doctrine that, just as every prophet had an assistant who afterward succeeded him, Mohammed's vizier was Ali, who had therefore been kept out of the califate by deceit. Othman had no legal claim whatever to the califate; and the general dissatisfaction with his government greatly contributed to the spread of Abdallah's teachings. Tradition relates that when Ali had assumed power, Abdallah ascribed divine honors to him by addressing him with the words, "Thou art Thou!" Thereupon Ali banished him to Madain. After Ali's assassination Abdallah is said to have taught that Ali was not dead but alive, and had never been killed; that a part of the Deity was hidden in him; and that after a certain time he would return to fill the earth with justice. Till then the divine character of Ali was to remain hidden in the imams, who temporarily filled his place. It is easy to see that the whole idea rests on that of the Messiah in combination with the legend of Elijah the prophet. The attribution of divine honors to Ali was probably but a later development, and was fostered by the circumstance that in the Koran Allah is often styled "Al-Ali" (The Most High). Source
(In order to distort Islam, the Jews hatched a plan to add and remove things from the pure Islamic creed, Abdullah ibn Saba played a pivotal role in this conspiracy of the Jews against Islam, and over the centuries we have witness the manifestation of these distortions in Sha'ism. Shia's are heretics, who's believes and practices are blasphemous to the religion of Islam, they are enemy number one of Muslims, they have fully collaborated with the Jews and the Christians in destroying Iraq and Afghanistan, do not get fooled by Iran anti-Israel and American rhetoric's, which the mainstream media propagates. Read history and you will find that whenever Shia's were presented with an opportunity to stab Muslims in the back, they have fulfilled their duty diligently, and today it is no different. The Shia's who claim to love Ali Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu, who was the lion of Islam, who fought to defend the honor of Islam and Muslims, he did not collaborate with the enemies of Islam in spilling the blood and looting the wealth of Muslims.)
The supreme leader of Iran
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei the American whore criticizes it's
pimp to trick the world
The Revolution Leader says Iran has
been at the forefront of resistance against Washington's hegemony.
(Can some one please ask this egomaniac to explain
just how in the world is Iran resisting American hegemony, when it is
directly aiding American invaders in Iraq and Afghanistan)
Addressing thousands of personnel of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)
on Wednesday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei likened the United States to a
'bully' who is running an extortion racket around the world while his
situation gets worse day by day. (Yes Ayatollah should
know all about this, as Iran is fully cooperating with Americans in running
their extortion racket all around the world)
"Some (countries) pay extortion money to this world bully to keep their
businesses safe", said the Leader. (He is correct
again, but Iran as been exempted from paying extortion money, cause America
and Iran are partners in this extortion racket)
"Some others are relatively powerful, but are reluctant to confront the US
and simply turn into political-military stooges for Washington", Ayatollah
Khamenei underlined. (Yes right again, just look at
Iran)
"However, some stand up to this bullying, and the Islamic Republic of Iran
has been at the forefront of this resistance", added the Leader.
( Correct again, Iran stands up to the
Americans, only to then bend down backwards, now how many countries in the
world can claim to have such loyalty to America, hmm Iran does stands out)
'Don't take them alive': the killing of youths in Dagestan's Derbent city (VIDEO) About a month ago, in mid-June, Russian media referring to the occupation "investigation department", reported the following information: "A special operation took place in Derbent city, Dagestan. According to preliminary official data, a driver and three passengers exerted an armed resistance to law enforcement officers who tried to stop a car at an exit checkpoint from the city. Four suspected militants were killed as a result of gunfire". It is to be mentioned that according to puppet sources in Dagestan, on June 16, in Derbent, local Russian minions allegedly "tried to stop a car to check the IDs, but gunfire was opened from it".
More of world's poor live in India than in all sub-Saharan Africa, says
study There are more poor people in eight states of
India than in the 26 countries of sub-Saharan Africa, a study reveals today.
More than 410 million people live in poverty in the Indian states, including
Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, researchers at Oxford University
found. The "intensity" of the poverty in parts of India is equal to, if not
worse than, that in Africa. When the vast central Indian Madhya Pradesh
state, which has a population of 70 million, was compared with the
Democratic Republic of the Congo, the war-racked African state of 62 million
inhabitants, the two were found to have near-identical levels of poverty.
Is Global Poverty Reduction a Political Myth? The United Nations is convinced the developing world as a whole remains on track to achieve the poverty reduction target (a 50 percent cut) by 2015. But the numbers may belie that. At the global level, the number of people living under the international poverty line of less than 1.25 dollars a day declined from 1.9 billion to 1.4 billion: a reduction of about 500 million people. The argument by most critics is that these figures are distorted because the successes are mostly in a few countries, primarily China, Vietnam and Brazil, and to a lesser extent, India.
Toxic Dispersants Near Gulf Harm Humans and Wildlife My eyes are burning as I type this. We’ve just returned from spending the day down in Barataria, located about an hour drive south of New Orleans. The community of fishermen is swimming in oil. Within minutes of arriving, our eyes begin to burn and we begin to feel dizzy from airborne chemicals from the oil and dispersant.
Under Threat: A Free And Open Internet Federal regulators are "wading into a bitter policy dispute that could be tied up in Congress and the courts for years." The road to South America Arabs should not hesitate to take the decision. They should go to South America to see for themselves what Western settler colonialism did to the native peoples and their civilization, in order to re-read and understand what is happening in their region today, and to understand Western plans which target them all in terms of their language, thought, existence and future, whether they knew the fact or persisted in ignoring it.
Pak-China Strategic Ties Irks The Indo-Israelis It is
worth mentioning that the revelations of Israel’s ambassador to India, Mark
Sofer during his interview to the Indian weekly Outlook as published on
February 18, 2008 had surprised Pakistan, China and the Middle. On a
question regarding India’s defence arrangements with Israel, Sofer while
indicating two identical situations, disclosed “We do have a defence
relationship with India, which is no secret. On the other hand, what is
secret is the defence relationship”. And “with all due respect, the secret
part will remain a secret.”
Nevertheless, external plot against Balochistan is part of the conspiracy
against Pakistan and China-not tolerated by the US, India and Israel which
have been trying to virtually besiege particularly our country as noted
through a perennial wave of suicide attacks and bomb blasts. In this
respect, by covertly backing the Baloch nationalist leaders, foreign
elements have been fulfilling a number of covert designs.
World's first flying car a breakthrough, but many problems remain unsolved World's first flying car is a breakthrough and will possibly change future transportation, but experts pointed out that problems need to be addressed before cars can really fly at will. It's a 1,440-pound car and plane hybrid with retractable wings. It is designed to drive on public roadways and park in a standard garage. Drivers can go to any gas station to add gas for their flying cars. It can take off and land in any small airports.
Big Pharma nanotechnology encodes pills with tracking data
that you swallow
The emerging field of nanotechnology is currently gaining a
lot of attention across many industries. Nanotechnology allows scientists to
manipulate individual atoms and molecules to create unique materials and
even micro-scale devices, and this is leading to a wide range of
applications in clothing, textiles, electronics and even food and medicine.
Sounds great, right? Except for the fact that, like genetic modification of
food crops, nanotechnology tampers with Mother Nature in a way that's
largely untested for safety. And here's something really bizarre: The
pharmaceutical industry may soon begin using nanotechnology to encode drug
tablets and capsules with brand and tracking data that you swallow as part
of the pill.
Choosing healthy foods now called a mental disorder In its never-ending attempt to fabricate "mental disorders" out of every human activity, the psychiatric industry is now pushing the most ridiculous disease they've invented yet: Healthy Eating Disorder...This is no joke: If you focus on eating healthy foods, you're "mentally diseased" and probably need some sort of chemical treatment involving powerful psychotropic drugs.

Premature destruction of Russian spies gang has been provoked
by a certain event The
English-language service of the Voice of America, with reference to the
security analyst Burton from the American private intelligence firm Stratfor
explained why the destruction of Russian spy ring of the KGB had been
carried out before this gang could be caught in transferring really serious
spy info to Moscow. The Voice of America reports from Washington: "None of
the arrested Russian spies were charged with committing acts of espionage.
They were charged with the far less serious offense of being unregistered
agents of a foreign power. They appeared in court, pled guilty, and were
whisked off to Vienna for their swap and a trip home. Stratfor's Fred Burton
says something appears to have forced the FBI to act prematurely before they
could catch the spies performing an act of espionage.

Israel’s new ‘video
game’ executions Rapid progress
with the technology has raised alarm at the United Nations. Philip Alston,
its special rapporteur on extrajudicial executions, warned last month of the
danger that a “PlayStation mentality to killing” could quickly
emerge....According to analysts, however, Israel is unlikely to turn its
back on hardware that it has been at the forefront of developing – using the
occupied Palestinian territories, and especially Gaza, as testing
laboratories."
Is Israel A Normal Country? If you claim one standard but behave by another – truly indistinguishable from the region’s dictators – I do think the world is entitled to comment. Israel holds ten thousand illegal prisoners, imposes a ghastly blockade for over three years, imposes countless checkpoints on people’s ordinary lives in the West Bank, regularly assassinates those with whom it disagrees, and uses every underhanded technical gimmick it can think of to keep stealing other people’s land.
Russian invaders force people to work for the occupiers under
tortures. Unbroken Moslems are killed
Russian invaders and their local stooges in
Ghalghaycho (AKA Ingushetia) province do not cease trying to establish a
so-called "operative and intelligence network". However, despite the
enormous Russian pressure, lies, propaganda, threats, murders and blackmail,
by the grace of Allah there are not so many traitors among the Ingushs, who
decided to save their lives by snitching, or improve their material
condition. Russian invaders often complain in their reports to the Kremlin
about the lack of an effective intelligence network, the GurabaWordPress
publication writes.
1.5-year-old baby enlisted into 'Dagestani suicide
bombers' As KC previously
reported, a ballyhoo kicked up by Russian invaders around the "capture of
six female suicide bombers" in Dagestan was a knockoff. In fact, there were
not any "female suicide bombers" caught by the invaders and their minions.
Widow and relatives of the Mujahideen with their children were caught. All
of them en masse declared "martyr bombers" who "planned terrorist attacks in
the heart of Russia". Two children - 12 year old girl and 1.5 year old baby
- were among 6 "female bombers". Even human rights defenders have indicated
on a number of inconsistencies in information about the "caught of bombers".

Abolishing the Prison Industrial Complex --An interview with Criminal Injustice Kos If one accepts, as I do, that prisons in the US are a contemporary extension of chattel slavery, that prisons are irredeemably rooted in racism and classism, that prisons serve no purpose save corporate profit and raw retribution, then one must call for their abolition. Prison “reform” is insufficient if the very notion and reality of prison itself is grounded in inequality, injustice and destruction.
WMD claims were lies says former envoy Britain was taken to war in Iraq on the basis of “lies”, scaremongering and deliberate exaggeration, a former UK diplomat told the Iraq inquiry. Carne Ross claimed that Britain and the United States privately did not believe that Iraq’s weapons programmes posed a “substantial threat” before launching the 2003 invasion. Mr Ross, the former first secretary at the UK’s mission to the United Nations, told the Chilcot inquiry there was no “significant intelligence” to support claims that Saddam Hussein had amassed an arsenal of deadly weapons. He argued that Saddam could have been contained through sanctions – and condemned the failure by the US or UK to close the Iraqi dictator’s bank accounts in Jordan.
Americans confidence in Obama hits new low Public confidence in U.S. President Barack Obama has hit a new low, with 6 in 10 Americans lack faith in the president four months before the mid-term elections, according to a new poll released Tuesday. According to news poll conducted Wednesday through Sunday, nearly 6 in 10 voters say they lack faith in the president to make the right decisions for the country, and a clear majority disapproves of how he is dealing with the economy. Just 43 percent of them say they approve of the job Obama is doing on the economy, while 54 percent disapprove. Both numbers are the worst of his presidency. Economic worries continue to dominate the minds of Americans, framing the fall congressional campaigns. Almost all Americans rate the economy negatively. Only about a quarter of all Americans think the economy is improving. If public sentiment is any indication, the Democrats will lose big in the November elections in which all seats in the House of Representatives are up for grabs, along with a third of the Senate. Just 26 percent of registered voters say they are inclined to support their representative in the House this fall; 62 percent are inclined to look for someone new. A slim majority of all voters say they would prefer Republican control of Congress so that the legislative branch would act as a check on the president's policies. Those most likely to vote in the midterms prefer the Republicans over continued Democratic rule by a sizable margin of 56 percent to 41 percent.
Bilderberg Corporate Media Mogul Wrote Obama Speech The fact that Barack Obama is nothing more than a corporate sock puppet, a completely hollow vassal being used and manipulated by his globalist controllers to carry out their agenda, has once again been emphasized with the revelation that corporate media mogul and Bilderberg luminary Mortimer Zuckerman wrote one of Obama’s political speeches. “Well I voted for Obama, I helped write one of his speeches,” Zuckerman told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto yesterday. Asked which speech he helped write, Zuckerman responded, “I’d rather not go into that.” Zuckerman is listed as the 147th wealthiest American. He is the owner and publisher of the New York Daily News and is also the current editor-in-chief of U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. trade deficit rises to 42.3 billion in May The U.S. trade deficit in May increased by 4.8 percent to 42.3 billion dollars, the highest level in 18 months, the Commerce Department reported Tuesday. The May deficit was the largest imbalance since November 2008, and higher than economists had been expecting. In May, exports rose by 2.4 percent to 152.3 billion dollars, while imports increased by 2.9 percent to 194.5 billion dollars. Economists say that the increase in both exports and imports reflects that the U.S. economy was rebounding from the most serious recession since the Great Depression in 1930s. Trade experts expect that trade deficit to rise this year but hope that expanding exports will continue to boost the recovery of the American manufacturing sector.
Jews puppet French President Nicolas Sarkozy lead parliament approves ban on face veils France's lower house of parliament overwhelmingly approved a ban on wearing burqa-style Islamic veils Tuesday, part of a concerted effort to define and protect French values that has disconcerted many in the country's large Muslim community. Proponents of the law say face-covering veils don't square with the French ideal of women's equality or its secular tradition. The bill is controversial abroad but popular in France, where its relatively few outspoken critics say conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy has resorted to xenophobia to attract far-right voters. The ban on burqas and niqabs will go in September to the Senate, where it also is likely to pass. Its biggest hurdle will likely come after that, when France's constitutional watchdog scrutinizes it. Some legal scholars say there is a chance it could be deemed unconstitutional. Spain and Belgium have similar bans in the works. In France, which has Europe's largest Muslim population, about 5 million of the country's 64 million people are believed to be Muslim. While ordinary headscarves are common in France, only about 1,900 women are believed to wear face-covering veils. In Tuesday's vote at the National Assembly, there were 335 votes for the bill and just one against it. Most members of the main opposition group, the Socialist Party, walked out and refused to vote, though they in fact support a ban. They simply have differences over where it should be enforced, underscoring the lack of controversy among French politicians on the issue. The bill passed Tuesday bans face-covering veils everywhere that can be considered public space, even in the street, but the Socialists only want it in certain places, such as government buildings, hospitals and public transport.
Lawyers from 60 Countries to Sue Israel Lawyers from 60 countries, including Indonesia, will gather in Istanbul, Turkey, from July 15-16, to prepare a legal suit against Israel for its attack on the Gaza-bound humanitarian flotilla on May 31, Antara news agency reported. "There are a number of lawyers from 60 countries who will take legal steps to sue the attackers of Mavi Marmara," Mahendradatta, patron chief of the Indonesian Muslims' Lawyer Team (TPM) said here, Monday. Mahendradatta said he would represent six Indonesians who became victims of the Israeli soldiers' attack, where two Indonesians namely Surya Fachrizal and Oktavianto were injured. The lawyers, among others from Turkey, Britain and other European countries, will sue Israel in international legal forum as well as bilateral forums. TPM, he said would consistently fight the Israeli arrogance. Meanwhile, Jose Rizal Jurnalis, presidium chairman of MER-C (Medical Emergency Rescue - Committee) Indonesia hoped that the legal suit against Israel could be brought to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
U.S. To Jordan: Change Your Nuclear Program or We’ll Cut Aid Reports from Arab media sources, on Monday, indicated that U.S. authorities are demanding that Jordan share its uranium enrichment with Israel. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordon could lose its pecuniary aid from the United States should it continue to enhance its nuclear program without cooperation with Israel, Israeli news source Ynet reported. Amman ignored Israeli requests to be involved in the extraction and enrichment of uranium which prompted the threat from Washington. The U.S. and Jordan discussed Jordan’s nuclear plan for six months, but the Jordanians were unable to obtain US approval. The program began three years ago when over 65,000 tons of uranium ore, one of the largest deposits in the world, was discovered in the Jordanian desert. All but five percent of Jordan’s energy is imported from other countries, primarily Saudi Arabia and Iraq. The enrichment program is a means by which The Hashemite Kingdom can shed some of its dependence on foreign sources of energy while gaining the ability to export power throughout the region. Yet the Jordanian economy is hinged on American aid which limits its ability to hold its ground in talks with Washington. This year, the US transferred at least $665 million during the first half of the year, over half of which was for financial aid and the rest for military aid. The aid Jordan receives from the US is to ameliorate Jordanian financial and social problems. Additionally the aid is sent to bolster national security as the US sees Jordan as a partner in the War on Terror. King Abdullah condemned Israel for impeding his country’s efforts in its nuclear program last month. The king told the Wall Street Journal that France and South Korea were being persuaded by the Israeli government to not sell nuclear technologies to Jordan. He added that Israeli-Jordanian relations have sunk to a point they have not been since the two countries signed a peace agreement after being in a state of war for nearly half a century.
Hundreds of
Jewish terrorists storm Nablus village, beat up old man
Hundreds of Zionist settlers stormed the village of Awarta, east of Nablus,
at dawn Monday under protection of a large number of Zionist occupation
forces, sources in Nablus city said. They added that the settlers, mounting
several buses, entered the village and offered Toratic rituals as the
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) declared the village a closed military zone,
blocking all traffic in and out of it. Eyewitnesses reported that 400
settlers broke into the village claiming that Islamic graves were the burial
site of their prophets, which raised fears among the villagers that the
allegation was meant as a prelude to laying the settlers' hands on those
graveyards. In Al-Khalil, settlers from Kiryat Arba beat up a 67-year-old
Palestinian man on Sunday evening, local sources said, adding that Jadallah
Al-Jabari was hospitalized following the assault. Meanwhile, the IOF
soldiers detained six Palestinians during incursions in Al-Khalil and Jenin
districts at dawn Monday. Yediot Ahronot quoted military sources as saying
that three Palestinians were detained in Qabatia, Jenin, and three others in
Al-Khalil district.
Archaeologists unearth oldest written document found in Jerusalem
A tiny clay fragment dating back to the 14th century B.C., which was found
recently in excavations outside Jerusalem's Old City walls, constitutes the
oldest written document ever found in the city, the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem said on Monday in a statement. "The find, believed to be part of a
tablet from a royal archive, further testifies to the importance of
Jerusalem as a major city in the late Bronze Age, long before its conquest
by King David," the statement read. The clay fragment was uncovered during
sifting of fill excavated from beneath a 10th century B.C. tower dating back
to the period of King Solomon in the Ophel area, located between the
southern wall of the Old City and the City of David to its south. It is 2 cm
by 2.8 cm in size and 1 cm thick and contains script markings of Ancient
Mesopotamia and cuneiform symbols in Akkadian, the lingua franca of that
era, mainly used for diplomatic correspondence between kingdoms. Tablets
bearing diplomatic messages were routinely exchanged between kings in the
ancient Near East, and it is most likely that the fragment was part of such
a "royal missive," Wayne Horowitz, a scholar of Assyriology at the Hebrew
University Institute of Archaeology, said in the issued statement. Horowitz
and Dr. Takayoshi Oshima, a researcher at the University of Leipzig,
deciphered the script etched on the 3,400- year-old fragment, which
comprised the central left border of a rectangular tablet. Both interpreted
the symbols to include the words "you," "you were," "later," "to do" and
"them." Full details of the find were published on Monday in the Israel
Exploration Journal.

General who says “It’s fun to kill people” picked to oversee US wars in Afghanistan, Iraq He has a long record leading combat operations in US wars of aggression in the Middle East and Central Asia. He served as a lieutenant colonel in Operation Desert Storm (the US invasion of Iraq in 1991), commanded the first ground troops that went into southern Afghanistan after the 2001 US invasion of that country, and led Marines in the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In April of 2004 he headed up the first US assault on the Iraqi city of Fallujah and helped plan the siege later that year that destroyed the city and killed thousands of its residents. In February of 2005, at a public forum in San Diego, Mattis said that “it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot” Afghans. He continued: “Actually, it’s a lot of fun to fight. You know, it’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right upfront with you, I like brawling.” A bit later he spoke of the “emotional … satisfaction you may get from really whacking somebody.”
Russia ready
to supply Afghanistan with arms Russia
is ready to cooperate with NATO on the issues of arms supplies for
Afghanistan, RIA Novosti news agency reported on Monday. "We confirm our
readiness to ship the military equipment to Afghanistan," Russian ambassador
to Afghanistan Andrei Avetisyan said during a two-day meeting of Russian
ambassadors being held in Moscow, Xinhua reported. According to a diplomat,
Afghans value Russian arms and are interested in its shipment. "So we are
ready to cooperate with Afghanistan and NATO unilaterally in this respect,"
Avetisyan said. He noted that until now these supplies had been
insignificant. Russian ambassadors were meeting to discuss modernization and
protection of the country's national interests, Interfax news agency
reported.
2053 is the number of nuclear explosions conducted in various parts of the globe since 1945-1998 The United States conducted around 1,054 nuclear tests (by official count) between 1945 and 1992. Most of the tests took place at the Nevada Test Site and the Pacific Proving Grounds in the Marshall Islands. Ten other tests took place at various locations in the United States, including Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, and New Mexico. The Soviet Union conducted 715 nuclear tests (by official count between 1949 and 1990. Most of them took place at the Semipalatinsk Test Site in Kazakhstan and the Northern Test Site at Novaya Zemlya. Additional tests were conducted at various locations in Russia and Kazakhstan, while a small number of tests were conducted in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. The United Kingdom has conducted 45 tests (21 in Australian territory, including 9 in mainland South Australia at Maralinga and Emu Field, many others in the U.S. as part of joint test series). France conducted 210 nuclear tests between February 13, 1960 and January 27, 1996. The People's Republic of China conducted 45 tests (23 atmospheric and 22 underground, all conducted at Lop Nur Nuclear Weapons Test Base, in Malan, Xinjiang). India conducted 5 or 6 tests, at Pokhran. Pakistan conducted 2 tests. On October 9, 2006 North Korea announced they had conducted a nuclear test in North Hamgyong province on the northeast coast at 10:36 AM (11:30 AEST). There was a 3.58 magnitude earthquake reported in South Korea. There was a 4.2 magnitude tremor detected 240 miles north of P'yongyang. The low estimates on the yield of the test — potentially less than a kiloton in strength — have led to speculation as to whether it was a fizzle (unsuccessful test), or a genuine nuclear test at all. On May 25, 2009, North Korea announced having conducted a second nuclear test. A tremor, with magnitude reports ranging from 4.7 to 5.3, was detected 233 miles northeast of P'yongyang, within a few kilometers of the 2006 test location. While estimates as to yield are still uncertain, with reports ranging from 3 to 20 kilotons, the stronger tremor indicates a significantly larger yield than the 2006 test.
Wealthy Reap Rewards While Those Who Work Lose
Times are tough for workers in the U.S. where a recession has a stranglehold
on much of the economy, but life is perfectly rosy for those at the top. The
riches of the wealthiest North Americans grew by double digits in 2009,
primarily from interest their money earned when it was invested in the stock
market and elsewhere, according to a report by the Boston Consulting Group.
Witch-hunt Begins in Israeli Schools and Colleges Hundreds of Israeli college professors have signed a petition accusing the education minister of endangering academic freedoms after he threatened to “punish” any lecturer or institution that supports a boycott of Israel. The backlash against Gideon Saar, a member of the prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, comes after a series of moves suggesting he is trying to stamp a more stridently right-wing agenda on the Israeli education system.
Illegal oil exports flourish in the region Middle East oil smuggling is flourishing as governments fail to tackle big problems including unsecured borders, fuel subsidies, corruption and trade sanctions. The latest cases to surface involve the smuggling of oil products from Iraq and Saudi Arabia under two different sets of circumstances that highlight a systemic regional problem. On Sunday, the government of Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region said it was clamping down on fuel smuggling across its mountainous borders with Iran and Turkey.
Blackwater Strikes Again In the letter to Secretary Gates he said the Pentagon should consider deficiencies in Blackwater's past performance before awarding it additional contracts. He said: "[W] e received evidence that Blackwater may have: used a front company for the contract; made false official statements and misled Department of Defense officials in its proposal documents; misappropriated government weapons and carried weapons without authorization; and hired unqualified personnel with backgrounds that included assault and battery, larceny and misappropriation of property, insubordinate conduct, and drug and alcohol abuse; and violated CENTCOM's movement control policies." He concluded saying the Department of Defense "should review the transcript of this hearing and consider the deficiencies in Blackwater's performance . . . before a decision is made to award the police training work to Blackwater."
A Way Forward: Reexamining the Pentagon's Spending Habits What is a trillion? It is a big number for sure. The best explanation I have found for this mind-blowing figure is from children’s book author David Schwartz. “One million seconds comes out to be about 11½ days. A billion seconds is 32 years. And a trillion seconds is 32,000 years.” What is a trillion dollars? What can you get for that much money?
Hell Has Come to South Louisiana Unlike most fishermen who’ve had their livelihoods decimated by BP’s oil disaster, Guidry has chosen not to work for BP doing skimming and booming operations with his boat. “I worked for Brown and Root in the oil industry,” Guidry informs, “I know the dangers of oil and chemicals, so there’s no way I’m going to go work out in this stuff. Instead, I’m trying to help make sure BP is paying people, and being safe. But I’m not accomplishing either one yet.” Guidry is incensed at what he is seeing. “There has been a BP cover-up from day one,” he says, as I write furiously in my notepad, trying to keep up, “The US Government, OSHA [Occupational Safety and Health Administration], the Coast Guard, NIOSH [National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health], all of them are in on it.”
India's "Hearts of
Darkness"
"Transnational corporations (TNCs) now
roam the world to find the cheapest and most vulnerable workers." They're
mostly young women in poor countries like China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam,
Indonesia, Nicaragua, Haiti, and many others working up to 14 or more hours
a day for sub-poverty wages under horrific conditions.
Because TNCs are unaccountable, a dehumanized global workforce is ruthlessly
exploited, denied their civil liberties, a living wage, and the right to
work in dignity in healthy safe environments. NLC conducts "popular
campaigns based on (its) original research to promote worker rights and
pressure companies to end human and labor abuses. (It) views worker rights
in the global economy as indivisible and inalienable human rights and
(believes) now is the time to secure them for all on the planet."
India launches 5
satellites into orbit
India successfully launched five satellites into orbit on
Monday, three months after the country's space ambitions suffered a setback
when a rocket crashed at lift-off. The five satellites included an advanced
remote sensing satellite called Cartosat-2B, as well as a satellite from
Algeria. Three other smaller experimental devices from India, Canada and
Switzerland were also released.
"The rocket deployed the five satellites in the intended polar orbits after
a textbook launch from the spaceport under perfect weather conditions,"
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) director S. Satish told a foreign
news agency.
The launch site was at Sriharikota, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) northeast
of Chennai. In April an Indian rocket showcasing domestically-built booster
technology crashed soon after lift-off from the same site. The first
Indian-made cryogenic powered rocket, a complex technology mastered by just
five countries, fell into the Bay of Bengal due to a component failure.
India aims to launch its first manned space mission in 2016 and wants to
grab a larger share of the multi-billion-dollar market for launching
commercial satellites. Last August India's first unmanned moon mission,
launched amid much fanfare in 2008, came to an abrupt end when controllers
lost contact with the craft. But gloom turned to delight in September when
data collected from the mission showed water on the moon, boosting India's
credibility. India began its space programme in 1963 and has developed its
own satellites and launch vehicles to cut dependence on other countries.

An Iraqi
news agency has revealed the massacre of Iraqi scientists by the Zionist
regime and the US spying agencies, Mossad and CIA Based on
new data gathered about the death of a famous Iraqi chemist, Mohammad Al-Azmirli,
he was detained by US forces in the year 2003. He is one of the most
well-known chemists, worldwide. This professor taught at Baghdad University,
prior to his detention on April 26, 2003. The US forces seized all his books
and his computer, and thereafter set his library on fire. With the
completion of the Americans' investigations about this Iraqi chemist, he was
handed over to the Zionist regime's spying agency for further
interrogations. According to this Iraqi news agency, this Iraqi chemist was
tortured during interrogations and was killed due to a blow to his head. His
corpse was later transferred to Abu Ghraib Prison in a bid to conceal the
details of his murder. Based on this report, four other Iraqi physicists
have also been killed by the Zionist regime and US spying agencies in Iraq.
Crackdown against youth: 150 detained in Kashmir valley Srinagar, July 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in a major crackdown on protesters, Indian police have detained nearly 150 youth from across the Kashmir Valley for participating in anti-India protests during the past fortnight. Police sources told mediamen that following the widespread protests against the killings of teenagers including a woman in Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police action, scores of youth had been detained in the Srinagar city. The sources said that the police rounded up nearly 40 youth in Sopore town, after the killing of two youth by the paramilitary CRPF troops, last month. They added that the police also detained more than 30 youth in Islamabad town particular from Malkhnag, Cheeni Chowk and Reshi bazaar areas during the nocturnal raids in past two weeks. The residents of Bandipore and Handwara towns told newsmen that the Indian police was summoning the youth to police stations, after the protests. The police have taken 30- 40 youth in custody from these areas.
Artificial Sweetener is Killing people all over the world The most common symptoms of aspartame overdose include headaches, mood alterations, and gastrointestinal symptoms. However side effects of the toxic sweetener can also mimic the following conditions: multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, panic disorder, lupus, birth defects, Lyme disease, Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivity, attention deficit disorder, and lymphoma (just to name a few). “Drinking diet soda increases your risk of metabolic syndrome, and may double your risk of obesity—the complete opposite of the stated intention behind these ‘zero calorie’ drinks. The sad truth is that diet foods and drinks ruin your body’s ability to count calories, and in fact stimulate your appetite, thus boosting your inclination to overindulge.”

Pentagon Provokes New Crisis With China China and Russia are viewed as, if not challengers to U.S. global dominance, impediments to its further consolidation. And not in the military sphere but in the fields of economics, trade, energy and transportation. Destabilization of their neighborhoods and frontiers is one manner of limiting competition.
I Am a Palestrina Child How full of sin I am, I always complain about things that are not to my liking. How full of sin I am, I always feel cramped in my situation which in fact is full of joys. How full of sin I am, when I grin widely because of the things that please me. How full of sin I am, when I use all these special facilities for committing transgression against Allah. How full of sin I am, when I finish the delicious foods, that I always delight in with a surge of appetite, without any feeling of gratefulness ever expressed. How full of sin I am, when I wound the hearts of my parents, who love me very much, with my bellows and rebelliousness. How full of sin I am, when I hurt my friends with my rough behaviors.
Stop The Torture On The Accused of ''Terrorism'' Right Now! The accused of terrorism, Muhammad Jibriel, admitted that he had always been tortured during his detention by the police. The torture only ended when he was moved to the Brimob Detention Centre, Kelapa Dua, Depok. "From the day I was arrested, until the fourth days after that, I was continously tortured," Jibriel said in front of the judges in the trial, where he revealed the kinds of torture done on him which include being beaten with rattan canes, having his face punched and having his beard plucked. Besides that, Jibriel also admitted to have been forced to take off his cloths for him to be photographed by them. Crazy! Torture has become a part of the techniques to probe information's from the accused of terrorism. It has become common knowledge.
Japan's ruling coalition loses majority seats in upper house election: NHK exit polls The exit polls of NHK revealed that the ruling camp of Japan failed to gain enough seats in Sunday's election to retain a majority in the upper house. The ruling Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) garnered less than 50 seats in the election, far from the 54 seats the party targeted, the NHK said. Other media put the number at 47 to 48. The results are based on a exit survey in some 17,00 polling stations across the country. As of 09:34 p.m. local time, the ruling DPJ had obtained 32 seats of the 121 seats up for grab, falling behind the main opposition party Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) which gained 39 seats, the NHK reported. NHK's survey showed that possible consumption tax hike discouraged the voters from supporting the ruling DPJ in the election. Among the people who said they approved such a hike, 45 percent voted for the DPJ. But, of those who were against the tax hike, only 27 percent voted for the ruling party. According to NHK, as of 6:00 p.m., two hours before the polls closed, voter turnout amounted to 39.60 percent, slightly down from the 2007 election figure of 39.22 percent. Additionally, more than 12 million people cast their ballots before the voting day. The DPJ will remain in power because the party is controlling the more powerful lower house, or the House of Representatives. The vote counting is under way and full official results are due out by Monday morning.
10 Ways We Are Being Tracked, Traced, and Databased The war on terror is a worldwide endeavor that has spurred massive investment into the global surveillance industry – which now seems to be becoming a war on “liberty and privacy.” Given all of the new monitoring technology being implemented, the uproar over warrantless wiretaps now seems moot. High-tech, first-world countries are being tracked, traced, and databased, literally around every corner. Governments, aided by private companies, are gathering a mountain of information on average citizens who so far seem willing to trade liberty for supposed security. Here are just some of the ways the matrix of data is being collected:
Irish block EU plan to allow data transfer to Israel THE GOVERNMENT has moved to block a European Commission initiative to allow the transfer to Israel and storage there of sensitive personal data on European citizens.
China confirms Google's operation license renewed July 11 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese government official said Sunday China had approved renewing the operation license of Beijing Guxiang Information Technology Co. Ltd., operator of Google's China website. The official with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), who spoke anonymously, told Xinhua that the result of its annual checkup on Google was "Approved after Rectification." Guxiang submitted an application letter to the MIIT on June 29 to renew Google's Internet Content Provider (ICP) license, a permit to run websites in China. In the application letter, Guxiang pledged to "abide by Chinese law," and "ensure the company provides no law-breaking content as stipulated in the 57th statement in China's regulations concerning telecommunications." The statement says that any organization or individual is prohibited from using the Internet to spread any content that attempts to subvert state power, undermine national security, infringe on national reputation and interests, or that incites ethnic hatred and secession, transmits pornography or violence. Guxiang also accepted that all content it provides is subject to supervision of government regulators, said the official.

Foreign powers involve in terrorism in Pakistan: intelligence chief ISLAMABAD, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Chief of Pakistan's top intelligence agency, Inter-service Intelligence (ISI), Ahmed Shuja Pasha, said Thursday that the western powers are involved in the terror activities in the country, according to a local TV Channel Samaa report. During a briefing at the National Security Committee session chaired by Senator Raza Rabbani, the chief said "foreign powers are involved in terrorism and destabilization of the country." The policy against terrorism should be co-related with the national interest, said Pasha, adding that "the U.S. policy against terrorism is under consideration and the changes will be brought with time in accordance with the national interest." According to the report, the committee members have demanded the clear changes in the policies against terrorism in the country.

If Sutyagin happens to be a KGB spy, what other Russian spy
would they swap him for? Not only
Sutyagin has gone missing. All 4 dissidents sent by the KGB from Moscow to
the US and Britain in the framework of a swapping against acknowledged
Russian spies disappeared. Unlike all previous spy swaps of dissidents,
nothing is being reported about their stay in the West by Anglo-American
press, not to mention the fact that the Western media didn't not even try to
interview them. A former dissident Bukovsky, swapped in the 1970's, for
example, started giving interviews at the airport immediately after his

Britain prepares for the collapse of BP This is amid
mounting fears that the oil giant could be broken up or taken over in the
wake of the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster. The talks, which are being led by
officials at the Department for Business and the Treasury, reflect growing
concern within Whitehall about the implications that a corporate failure of
BP, formerly Britain's biggest company, would have on British interests
domestically and around the world.
Threatening World Order: US and Israel Quietly Announce Plans to Reconstitute Their Nuclear Stockpiles The world looks like it's about to become a more dangerous place. A recent report from Israel's newspaper Haaretz finds that the United States is moving forward with plans to strengthen Israel's nuclear weapons stockpile.
Who's The Boss?
Katie Couric's interview on CBS News on July 7 leaves little doubt that she
considers Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister as the boss and that
President Obama is irrelevant. Couric, descendant of Jewish immigrants from
Germany, anchor and chief managing editor of CBS news, makes it clear that
it is more important for Netanyahu to "trust" Obama and his decisions than
for the the American people to trust the judgment of their elected
Commander-In-Chief. What are the implications of CBS's message?
Couric, eager to learn if Netanyahu was somehow "disappointed with Obama",
asked if Netanyahu would advocate on Obama's behalf and make the American
president popular among the Israelis. Clearly, Couric believes that Obama's
popularity among Israelis takes precedent over the continuing violation of
international laws, the assault on a NATO member by Israel, and the
demeaning attitude towards President Obama's selected officials including
his Vice President -- Joe Biden. Couric, the managing editor of an American
news channel appears to place the opinion of Israelis above the Americans.
The Three Stooges Go To Israel Today, we have a new cast of crazies doing the same routine. However, you can substitute the word “Iran!” in place of the words “Niagara Falls!” and still get the same reaction out of the likes of Joseph Lieberman (I – CT), John McCain (R – AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R – SC), AKA: The Three Stooges. For the last few days, this psychotic trio of serial killers were in their beloved homeland of Israel, licking the hand that feeds them and performing renditions of John McCain’s favorite tune: “Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran” to an audience of likeminded Israeli warlords.
The government war on raw milk is an attack against food freedom As a rule of thumb, I don't drink anything that comes out of a cow. But for the last several thousand years, a large percentage of the human population has consumed cow's milk -- a substance that admittedly contains quite an impressive collection of nutrients. The problem today is that those nutrients are artificially modified through pasteurization (cooking) and homogenization (breaking down fat molecules) to create a ready-made, highly processed cow's milk beverage with a long shelf life that can be sold to consumers as "milk."
US opposes honest labeling of GMO foods The official U.S. position on genetically-modified organisms, also known as GMs or GMOs, is that there is no difference between them and natural organisms. Crafted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA), the position set forth to the Codex Alimentarius Committee on the issue goes even further to suggest that no country should be able to require mandatory GMO labeling on food items, even though science shows that GMOs act differently in the body than do natural organisms and are a threat to health.
China's forex reserves growth slows in Q2, total reaching $2.45 trillion Growth of China's foreign exchange reserves are slowing as the total reached 2.4543 trillion U.S. dollars by the end of June, up 15.1 percent year on year, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the central bank, announced on Sunday. Statistics from the central bank show China's foreign exchange reserves increased by 7.2 billion U.S. dollars in the second quarter, a drastic decrease compared to the last quarter in 2009, when reserves grew by 126.5 billion U.S. dollars. Reserves in the first quarter increased by 47.9 billion U.S. dollars. The PBOC also said the declining euro was the major reason behind the slowing growth in foreign exchange reserves. The exchange rate between the euro and U.S. dollar had fallen by nearly 20 percent between the end of 2009 and May this year, according to the PBOC. China's basket of foreign exchange reserves include the U.S. dollar, euro, Japanese yen and others. On a monthly basis, reserves increased by 43.4 billion U.S. dollars in April followed by a reduction of 51 billion U.S. dollars in May, while June saw reserves increase by 14.8 billion U.S. dollars. China's gold reserves stood at 33.89 million ounces at the end of June, according to PBOC figures.
U.S. fails
to label China as currency manipulator The US Treasury did
not label China a currency manipulator in its semiannual report to Congress
released on Thursday, but an economist at a Chinese government think-tank
said this does not mean an end to bilateral disputes over the yuan issue.
"In the short term, China and the US will find no real solution to the
issue," said Huo Jianguo, director of the Chinese Academy of International
Trade and Economic Cooperation affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce. "The
US should continue to closely monitor China's exchange rate policy, but
there will be a big gap between what it wants and what China can do." The
Treasury report admitted that China's economic rebalancing policies have led
to "a significant decline" in its current account surplus and "China has
made progress" in rebalancing its growth. Meanwhile, "US exports to China
have rebounded much more rapidly than overall US exports and are now 20
percent above their pre-crisis levels", the report said. In the second half
of 2009, US exports to China increased 15 percent year-on-year, while US
exports to the rest of the world fell 13 percent, it said. The report also
acknowledged that China's decision to end the yuan peg to the dollar from
June 19 was "a welcome step in fostering stronger, more sustainable, and
more balanced global growth". From June 19 to July 2, the yuan appreciated
0.81 percent against the dollar, according to the report.
However, the report claimed that the yuan remains undervalued. "What matters
is how far and how fast the renminbi (yuan) appreciates," it said. US
lawmakers also called for faster yuan appreciation after the release of the
report despite China's concern that drastic revaluation of its currency
would damage its trade sector, increase unemployment and worsen the expected
economic slowdown in the second half of this year. "China cannot afford
big-margin appreciation," Huo said. "The Obama administration, facing
pressure from Congress, has had to demand a bolder yuan revaluation," said
Zhou Shijian, a senior economist at the Center for China-US Relations of
Tsinghua University. "Such pressure will grow as the US mid-term election
nears (in October)." But the US should understand that China's policy since
the June 19 announcement to make the yuan more flexible does not aim at
one-way appreciation of the yuan against the dollar, let alone drastic,
sustained appreciation, Zhou said.

Answers from the Open Interview with Qaeda al-Jihad Shura Council Member in the land of Khorasan -the Mujahid Sheikh Abdul Majid Abdul Majid (May Allah Protect Him) The general circumstances of the Jihad on all fronts around the world are good, whether in Khorasan, Iraq, Somalia, Algeria and everywhere in general. The Islamic movement and the children of the Ummah, dear brother, have moved beyond the stages of obscuration and deception which the enemies were practising, in addition to the presence of other achievements on different levels.
I mean by what I said that the correct call and fair program has come within the reach of almost all members of the Ummah. This is what I mean by surpassing the stages of obscuration and deception. The Mujahideen have reached the point of “No Return” in their Jihad and their Da’wa, and this is the stage which was one of the most important goals.
Here I mention myself and my brothers working for this Deen, taking responsibility for the Message and conveying it. I make special mention of the Islamic forums that are undertaking their desired role in shining more light on this dawn which is breaking by which Allah will illuminate the way for all the children of our Ummah, and let them vanish the decades or centuries of ambiguity, and mixing truth and falsehood.

Former Top CIA Spy on How US Intelligence Became Big Business Few who have seen the dramatic privatization of US intelligence operations from the inside ever speak about the role private contractors play in covert operations--certainly not in public. In late June, however, the CIA's former top counterterrorism official, Robert Grenier, participated in a rare public discussion on issues ranging from the incredible extent to which the US has relied on contractors to fill sensitive national security positions; to battlefield contractors in Afghanistan; to allegations of contractor involvement in "direct action" (lethal) operations, as well as commenting on Blackwater owner Erik Prince's reported involvement in a secret CIA assassination program. The former spy also criticized what he called attempts by the US military to "overstep their bounds" by conducting intelligence operations that traditionally have fallen under the purview of the CIA.
'James
Mattis, a four-star Marine general' to replace Petraeus US
Defense Secretary Robert Gates has named James Mattis, a four-star Marine
general known for his blunt speech, as the new head of US Central Command.
Mattis is an erudite combat veteran known for quoting poetry and openly
expressing his enthusiasm for "killing the enemy," Los Angeles Times
reported on Thursday. The nomination that was announced on Thursday brought
Secretary Gates under fire for choosing a general who was officially rebuked
over his remarks in 2005 regarding the killing of Afghans. "Actually, it's a
lot of fun to fight," the Los Angeles Times quoted Mattis as saying. "You
know, it's a hell of a hoot... It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right
upfront with you. I like brawling."
Gates, however, dismissed the criticism saying that those comments were made
five years ago, and that "appropriate action was taken at the time”, The New
York Times reported. Calling Mattis one of the best combat leaders and
strategic thinkers and praising him for his insight into warfare, Gates said
that he spoke about the issue with Mattis and was assured that the general
will be careful. If the nomination is approved by the Senate, Mattis will
replace Gen. David Petraeus who took command of NATO forces in Afghanistan
last week. Gen. Mattis is currently in charge of the military's Joint Forces
Command in Norfolk, Virginia. Petraeus replaces Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who
was was effectively fired for remarks he and his aides made to a reporter
for Rolling Stone about President Barack Obama and other US officials. As
head of Central Command, Mattis would oversee US military operations in
Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as across the Middle East, including Iraq.
In his new position, Mattis technically would be Petraeus' boss.
Drill or Die “Alliance for Justice,” the
non-profit group that, a few months earlier, had launched a campaign to
publicize the Supreme Court’s transformation from an independent institution
into a “corporate court,” released a white paper titled “Judicial Gusher:
the Fifth Circuit’s Ties to Oil (pdf).” The report found that “many US Fifth
Circuit Court of Appeals judges have extensive and multi-faceted ties to the
oil industry, a factor which will come into play this week as a three-judge
panel hears the Obama Administration’s appeal of a lower court decision
blocking a six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling in the Gulf of
Mexico.” “Judicial Gusher” asserts that the three Fifth Circuit judges
charged with deciding the most recent motions in a legal battle over the
moratorium have either defended energy companies as lawyers or invested in
energy companies as judges.
Secret document confirms US-Israel nuclear partnership “According to Army Radio, the US has reportedly pledged to sell Israel materials used to produce electricity, as well as nuclear technology and other supplies.” This information appeared as the lead article in yesterday’s Haaretz. The article went on to say, “Israel’s Army Radio reported on Wednesday that the United States has sent Israel a secret document committing to nuclear cooperation between the two countries . . . “Other countries have refused to cooperate with Israel on nuclear matters because it has not signed the NPT [Nuclear Proliferation Treaty], and there has been increasing international pressure for Israel to be more transparent about its nuclear arsenal.”

Learn About Israeli Terrorism in this Video Breaking YOU – a common saying which can be heard when somebody attacks a defenseless person. “Breaking YOU” were the only words uttered by dozens of defenseless women who were crying and screaming in their homes in Hebron, when dozens of IDF soldiers terrorized them in their houses. The inhuman scene was followed by the sound of bombs exploding. Then, the smoke was rising and citizens running. This was a simple ethnic cleansing operation of the IDF soldiers, who went to the Al Baqa'a Valley and terrorized people, most of them were women and children. The IDF continued firing bombs.

Witness The Recent Gold Market Takedowns We have found it interesting that the IMF prohibits members from tying their currencies to gold. All of you out there who believe the IMF’s, SDRs, Special Drawing Rights, will be gold backed are mistaken. This historical operating position was further proven when on August 15, 1971 the US closed the gold window. This was the advice Mr. Nixon received from Paul Volcker, who was an early member of the Trilateral Commission and is an puppet of Jewish Bankers. Volcker has also been a leader against the US using gold in its monetary policy. Since 8/15/71 there has been an official war against gold by the elitists behind the curtain. It was that seminal event that essentially changed the future of America and the world. At that time US debt was just short of $500 billion. Today short-term debt is $14 trillion and long-term debt is $105 trillion. The engineer of the failure of the US banking system and the failure of the dollar and the rejection of it is at the feet of Mr. Volcker. What he has done to America at the behest of his Jewish Bankers masters is reprehensible. That was eventually followed by the elimination of Glass Steagall and the looting and the collapse of our financial system. This is the result of the corruption of our system.
IMF tells Europe to inject more stimulus The IMF called on Europe's authorities to make their €500bn (£420bn) rescue fund is "fully operational" and to explain how they intend to shore up banks that fail stress tests. "Test results will need to be complemented by a plan that specifies how capital-deficient institutions would be handled. Bank reporting and disclosure standards, in general, need to be improved," it said.

U.S. marks 3rd-largest, single-day debt increase The nation's debt leapt $166 billion in a single day last week, the third-largest increase in U.S. history, and it comes at a time when Congress is balking over higher spending and debt has become a key policy battleground. The one-day increase for June 30 totaled $165,931,038,264.30 - bigger than the entire annual deficit for fiscal year 2007 and larger than the $140 billion in savings the new health care bill will produce over its first 10 years. The figure works out to nearly $1,500 for every U.S. household, or more than 10 times the median daily household income. The Treasury Department calculates the country's debt position each day, and big rises and falls are not unusual. In fact, since hitting $13.203 trillion on June 30, the figure has since slipped $25 billion to settle at $13.178 trillion as of Tuesday, the latest day for which figures are available.
Usury and Mark Scores On July 1, 2007, a new law came into effect in Oregon which placed a cap on the maximum interest rate that could be charged by “payday” lending operations. Payday loans are quick cash operations that charge outrageous interest rates to desperate and foolish borrowers. Payday loans are an extreme example of the general operating principals of the major banks in the U.S. The maximum annual percentage rate legislated by the State of Oregon for payday loans is 153.77%. The modus operandi of the major banks in the U.S. is fraud. The principal they operate on is to take as much as they can get in all circumstances.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: The US has to get out of Afghanistan; why not today? America and its allies have bogged in Afghanistan. Neither the war machinery nor their advanced technology can save them from the lethal end. Similarly, the so-called claims of peace and fake Jirgas are also not going to work. The efforts to remove the names from the United Nation’s blacklist are not creating soft corner in the hearts of Afghan Emirate’s leadership for the Americans.
US invaders' helicopter shot down in Zabul Thursday, July 08, at approximately 5:00 pm local time, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate shot down a US terrorist forces' helicopter while flying low over an area near Kalat city, the capital of the Zabul province, leaving the helicopter on fire which fell down in the area, shortly after it was struck. According the to the report from the province, all the US cowardly soldiers and the crew members aboard the helicopter were killed, while the area was cordoned off by the enemy forces preventing the by-standers to get close enough to catch a close sight of the crash scene.

"A free press for a new century" TV networks targeting the Middle East, seen by Bollinger as a harbinger of spreading the culture of free press in our region, are, from our perspective a complementary tool of political and economic hegemony imposed by industrialized countries on our developing nations. We do not see in this type of media a tool for removing constraints on our press, but rather a way of floating colonial policies and marginalizing our culture and civilization and our views on issues.
The Jews Who Run Congress
As if the powerful Jewish Lobbies from without are not enough
for American Jewry to gain total control of the US Congress, Jews have
infiltrated the halls of Capitol Hill with more seats than ever before in
American history - in both the Senate and in the House. In fact, Jews chair
many of the Senate and House committees which oversee every aspect of
American affairs. Most distressing, we now have a “Jewish Caucus” on Capitol
Hill, of which, the Zionist puppet in the White House continually caters to.
Woe to you, Christian Zionists, hypocrites! I love it when Christian Zionists invoke God’s Holy Word to justify the Israeli theft of Palestinian land, Reverend John Hagee is a reverend, so I presume he’s actually read the Bible. His error thus cannot be attributed to ignorance, only to dishonesty. See, actually, that covenant does not still stand. Christian Zionists like Hagee often invoke the Bible as a cover for their agenda of violence, racism, and injustice. What they neglect to mention is that the Hebrews continually violated their covenant with Yahwah, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob (Israel).

Forces Of Allah Descend In Ambon (Last Part) However, the RMS Christian rioters still do not dare to cross the road that cuts through the village. On the coast, a portion of the population had been successfully loaded onto the Navy ship. Some others were still looking for relatives who were scattered and carried by the ocean currents. The cries of children were so heartbreaking. The waves were pounding on the Muslim population who were forced to leave their village. In such conditions, awkwardness on the part of the TNI (National Armed Forces of Indonesia) was clearly visible. Amongst the awkwardness was the lack of security assistance to evict and stop the dawn attacks by the RMS Christians.
Cultural history of the Crusades in 2010 United States Crusades — a word caught between the lexicon of pedestrian, every day use and the charged memories of civilizational struggle. The mixed history of the Crusades is itself caught within these contradictions. A colorful chapter in a history book that speaks to the fact that it is in the past tense? Or an all-significant event that pulses in our cultural life today? An intriguing question, a seductive dilemma. What is the relationship of the Crusades to the dreams and fantasies of US culture?

BP Used Oil Industry Tax Break to Write Off Its Rent for Deepwater Rig The owner, Transocean, moved its corporate headquarters from Houston to the Cayman Islands in 1999 and then to Switzerland in 2008, maneuvers that also helped it avoid taxes. At the same time, BP was reaping sizable tax benefits from leasing the rig. According to a letter sent in June to the Senate Finance Committee, the company used a tax break for the oil industry to write off 70 percent of the rent for Deepwater Horizon — a deduction of more than $225,000 a day since the lease began.
Rules of America’s rule of law The U.S. today charged Bradley Manning with a variety of crimes relating to his alleged leaks of classified material to WikiLeaks, most prominently including the Apache attack video that spawned worldwide debate over the American occupation. Marcy Wheeler has interesting analysis of the charges, including some contradictions with the account previously offered by Wired, and I'll have more on this shortly, but for now, I just wanted to review the contemporary rules governing the Rule of Law in the U.S.

Activists protest over ‘Biofuels land grab’ Development and environmental groups complained that the EU drive to increase production and use of bio-fuels is leading to the poor in Africa having their land taken off them, in order to grow fuel crops that would be exported to Europe. Pfizer Accused of Experimenting on Kids The Supreme Court gave a rare hit to private businesses when it declined to take up a case against pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. The suit alleges the drug company conducted nonconsensual drug testing on over 200 Nigerian children, some of whom died as a result of the tests. The suit was filed under the Alien Tort Statute (ATS) which grants federal judges the ability to hear civil lawsuits filed by non-US citizens for violations of the "law of nations". By declining to hear Pfizer's appeal and entertain its argument that it cannot be sued in an American court for these claims the Supreme Court has allowed the matter to move forward to trial.

1 in 9 jobs supported by hospitals, AHA says On June 21, the AHA released its "Economic Contribution of Hospitals" report. The AHA said the health care sector, of which hospital care is the largest component, added $2.3 trillion to the U.S. economy in 2008, or 16.2% of gross domestic product. Hospitals accounted for $718 billion of that total; employed more than 5.3 million people, including physicians; and spent about $320 billion on goods and services from other industries, according to AHA data. The Bureau of Labor Statistics puts hospital employment figures at 4.7 million nationally as of May 2010.
World's top firms cause $2.2 trillion in environmental damage
The world's 3,000 biggest public companies do more than $2.2
trillion worth of damage to the environment every year, amounting to
one-third of their total profits, according to a report commissioned by the
U.N. Environment Program and the Principles for Responsible Investment
initiative. The study was carried out by researchers from the London-based
consulting firm Trucost. Later this year, another U.N. study is expected to
recommend ways to stop this damage, such as by taxing or otherwise
penalizing polluters and eliminating massive public subsidies to destructive
industries.
Shipping Our Economy, Our Jobs And Our Prosperity To China As the U.S. economy continues to implode, large American corporations are investing billions upon billions of dollars in China. But all of this investment comes at a price. Over the past several decades, hundreds of factories and manufacturing facilities that would have been constructed in the United States, along with millions of decent paying jobs, have ended up going to China instead where labor is so much cheaper. In the process, China has become a massive economic powerhouse, while once thriving manufacturing cities in the United States such as Detroit are now rusted-out corpses. In fact, China’s economy has grown so rapidly that it is being projected that in 2010 China will replace Japan as the world’s second-largest economy. Not only that, but China has already overtaken Germany and is now the biggest exporter of goods in the entire world.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: International Robbers and Afghan Underground Wealth Now when the American militants have loudly accepted their defeat in the Afghan battlefield with the realization of being unable to retain a single foot of land, they have started an International Satanic Game. In order to prolong the war, the American aggressors are persuading their allies for further stay in Afghanistan through political and monitory bribe.
While citing the American geologists’ report, the American General David Petraeus in an interview with ‘New York Times’ said that Afghanistan has precious deposits worth $ 1 trillion and if these are mined it will make Afghanistan an economically stable country. He also said that some of these deposits can be helpful in military field besides bringing economic profit.

Christopher Columbus: The Untold Story "We shall take you and your wives and your children, and shall make slaves of them, and as such shall sell and dispose of them as their Highnesses may command; and we shall take away your goods, and shall do all the harm and damage that we can."
Examining the Reputation of Christopher Columbus "Christopher Columbus is a symbol, not of a man, but of imperialism... Imperialism and colonialism are not something that happened decades ago or generations ago, but they are still happening now with the exploitation of people... The kind of thing that took place long ago in which people were dispossessed from their land and forced out of subsistence economies and into market economies —those processes are still happening today." —John Mohawk, Seneca, 1992

Hundreds of
youth detained in Srinagar Srinagar, July 04 (KMS): In
occupied Kashmir, Indian police have booked hundreds of youth, most of them
teenagers, in Srinagar under various false cases during the last two weeks
and lodged them at different police stations. The police and paramilitary
troops have launched a crackdown and arrested over 500 youth, who
participated in protest demonstrations in Srinagar against the recent
killing of eleven young boys in indiscriminate firing by Indian troops on
peaceful protestors in Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla and Islamabad areas.
“More than 100 youth were detained in police station Parimpora for
participating in Sopore march, last week. The arrests were made on June 27,
28 and 29. However, due to space constraints in Parimpora police station
some detained youth were shifted to police station Pantha Chok,” local
police sources told media men in Srinagar.
Most of the arrested youth belong to the age group of 13 to17 years. The
cases of the detained youth are being pleaded by the lawyers including
Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Mir Shafaqat Hussain and Rafiq Joo. “Most of the
detained youth have been charged of offences which amount to life
imprisonment. The arrested youth will face problems in police verification
for moving out of Kashmir for jobs or studies,” said Ghulam Nabi Shaheen.
Meanwhile, the High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir in a statement
in Srinagar strongly condemned the unabated killing and arresting of
civilians in Kashmir by the police and paramilitary troops.

3/5 of House Dems "Obsessed" With Afghan Withdrawal Timetable "Obsession" isn't just "a fragrance for men." According to our Commander-in-Chief, "obsession" now also characterizes the widespread interest in the timeline for bringing home 100,000 American boys and girls safely from Afghanistan so they can grow old with their sweethearts and lead economically productive lives, rather than becoming Pentagon statistics or lifelong burdens on their family members and the public purse.
Independence From Empire… As Tears Go By I find myself crying a great deal lately. I have always suffered from anxiety and panic attacks…. Just not so many crying attacks. My former psychoanalyst, Dr. Perlowitz, always said that ‘ Crying ventilates the system’. Well, I must be pretty well ventilated by now. The main reason for my tears is the terrible state of affairs in our nation. They create phony wars and occupations, at the cost of almost one trillion tax dollars. Then they go ahead and bail out greedy and corrupt Wall Street firms ( another one trillion ) who conned millions of low income 9 to 5 Americans to ‘ buy buy buy ‘ homes they could not afford. On top of that, via their tightly controlled neo fascist talk radio and cable ( so called ) news shows, they have the nerve to condemn the victims of these schemes. It’s like having slum neighborhoods inundated with bars and liquor stores and then blaming those who drink too much! On the last day of June the Republicans in Congress killed an extension of unemployment benefits for millions of unemployed. Why? Well, if you want to get folks who are used to earning $ 12, $ 15 or $ 20 dollars per hour into accepting $ 7 and $ 8 dollar low wage jobs….. Just force them by cutting off their unemployment. Get it?

projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011.
#6) The total of all government, corporate and consumer debt in the
United States is now about 360 percent of GDP.
#2) According to one new study, approximately 21 percent of children

Flu Vaccines, pharma fraud, quack science, the CDC and WHO -- all exposed As you'll read below, flu vaccines remain a mainstay modern medicine only because they provide a reliable source of profits for the pharmaceutical industry which now virtually dictates public health policy thanks to its powerful lobbying resources. And the CDC, for its part, has now become little more than the regulatory branch of Big Pharma, pushing vaccines on the entire population even though the scientific evidence reveals quite clearly that flu vaccines simply do not work. (Vitamin D actually works far better at preventing flu infections, but the CDC won't recommend vitamin D to anyone.)
First Amendment suspended in the Gulf of Mexico as spill cover-up goes Orwellian The U.S. government has issued a new rule that would make it a felony crime for any journalist, reporter, blogger or photographer to approach any oil cleanup operation, equipment or vessel in the Gulf of Mexico. Anyone caught is subject to arrest, a $40,000 fine and prosecution for a federal felony crime. "A new law passed today, and back by the force of law and the threat of fines and felony charges, ... will prevent reporters and photographers from getting anywhere close to booms and oil-soaked wildlife just about any place we need to be. By now you're probably familiar with cleanup crews stiff-arming the media, private security blocking cameras, ordinary workers clamming up, some not even saying who they're working for because they're afraid of losing their jobs."
Inequality Costs the Earth Rich people’s disproportionate contribution to the current ecological crisis is explained not by their wealth alone, but by their wealth relative to the rest of the population. A world without inequality is not just desirable: it’s an urgent necessity.

US lawmakers pass Afghan war funding US President Barack Obama's Democratic allies beat back a stiff anti-war insurrection in their own ranks Thursday as the House of Representatives agreed to fund his Afghanistan troop "surge." The House approved a bill to pump another 37 billion dollars into the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Lawmakers approved the monies including funds necessary to Obama's plan to deploy another 30,000 troops to turn the faltering campaign around -- only after giving voice to a growing chorus of Democratic calls for a withdrawal. The House struck down one measure to cut all military spending from the bill by a 376-25 margin, and killing another to restrict the money to pay for a withdrawal of US forces by a 321-100 margin. In a 260-162 vote, they also defeated a Democratic amendment aimed at requiring Obama, who has set a July 2011 deadline for starting a US withdrawal, to set a complete timetable for that process. Democrats accounted for the lion's share of the yes votes in each case. But the fate of the bill was still clouded after Democrats attached more than 15 billion dollars in jobs and education programs in a 239-182 that defied a presidential veto threat over cuts designed to pay for the measure.
US Afghan
policy not working: French general The
American strategy in Afghanistan is “not working,” a senior French general
said in comments published on Thursday, saying the situation there was at an
all-time low. Vincent Desportes, head of France’s elite Inter forces Defence
College, told Le Monde newspaper that the strategy employed by former US war
commander in Afghanistan, US general Stanley McChrystal, had failed to
produce results. “The situation is worse than ever,” he said. “The
traditional counter-insurgency doctrine, as employed by McChrystal for a
year, with restrained use of firepower, air and artillery attacks to reduce
collateral damage, does not seem to be working. If the McChrystal doctrine
is not working or is not accepted, it would be good to review the strategy,”
argued the French general, calling for the pullout of US troops to be
deferred past the planned date of July 2011. Desportes also criticised
Obama’s decision, announced in December, to send some 30,000 extra troops to
Afghanistan. “Everyone knows it has to be either zero or 100,000 soldiers,”
he said, adding: “One does not fight half wars.”
Goldman Sachs Pressed By Born for Derivatives Data Goldman Sachs Group Inc. refused a request from the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission to reveal how much it makes trading derivatives, saying the bank doesn’t separate the figure from other businesses. Goldman Sachs, the most profitable Wall Street firm in history, is being questioned about credit-default swap trades with American International Group Inc., the insurer bailed out by the U.S. tax payers after AIG was unable to meet collateral demands from trading partners on the contracts. The swaps, used by Goldman Sachs and other banks to hedge against declines in the value of mortgage-linked debt, caused losses at AIG as housing prices collapsed.
The EU and the United States sign the agreement on the transfer of bank data (SWIFT) The agreement allows the American Treasury Department to receive financial data originating in the European Union, in order to more thoroughly investigate, search for, identify and prosecute alleged terrorists and their financial backers, while preserving an adequate level of data protection.
cripple Israeli banks to cripple the occupation The Israeli government, like that of apartheid South Africa, has become a menace to the international community. Corruption and abuses of human rights are invariably interconnected. Israel’s long military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, for example, has corrupted almost every aspect of Israeli society, most especially its economy. The Organization For Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) reported in December 2009 that the Israeli government lacks commitment in tackling international corruption and money laundering.
Israel's new master plan This week, an Israeli government body was set to approve "an unprecedented master plan" for an all-out expansion of Jewish settlements that would effectively -- using the words of one Palestinian official -- "decapitate" East Jerusalem's Arab identity. The plan would see the building of tens of thousands of Jewish-only apartments in East Jerusalem to be constructed on Arab owned land.
UN: Israeli settlement expansion illegal UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says Israel is violating international law by expanding its settlements in the occupied Palestinian land, including al-Quds (Jerusalem). “Settlement construction should stop, as should measures which discriminate against Palestinian residents of the city and the ability of Palestinians to access the city,” Ban said on Thursday.
(How American government take cares of their soldiers who put their lives at stake) leaked Internal Memo Shows VA Screwsing Over Wounded Vets to Maintain Performance Grades The Veterans Health Administration systematically delays and denies sick veterans medical care and masks it with bogus documentation. That's what the VA Inspector General and a number of veterans' advocates have been claiming since the early days of the Iraq War, when soldiers returning from Operation Enduring Freedom began flooding VA facilities. Now an internal department memo, posted Wednesday on a watchdog Web site, confirms these charges.
The problems VA faces from the current wars are staggering. From the Pentagon and VA's own reported data, we know that in addition to some 4,400 U.S. troop fatalities, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been responsible for some 86,000 casualties, 37,280 wounded in action and 48,272 medically evacuated due to injury or illness. As much of 20 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans (360,000) may have suffered traumatic brain injury from IED blasts, according to a DoD estimate issued last year. Every day 18 U.S. veterans attempt suicide, more than four times the national average. There are 537,099 Iraq and Afghanistan veteran patients in the VA system, and thousands more wait as much as a year for VA treatment.

Echo of Jihad from Paktia’s Paternal Mountains Paktia province is located in southeast Afghanistan and shares borders with the provinces of Logar, Ghazny, Paktika and Khost. Paktia is a province and mountainous and rugged terrain with the exception of its capital Gardiz and the Zarmut and Said Karam directorates. Forests of oak and pine cover most of its mountains, and it therefore represents one of the best spots in Afghanistan in terms of natural beauty. The famous Suliman mountain chain extends east and west through the province and covers most of its area.
Indian worshippers of idols occupied army terrorists
martyr 33 innocent Kashmiris in June
Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir,
Indian occupied army terrorists,
in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 33 innocent
Kashmiris including 9 teenagers in the last month of June.
According to the data, compiled by the Research Section of Kashmir Media
Service, 228 civilians including Hurriyet leaders and activists were
arrested and 572 people were critically injured when the police and
paramilitary forces fired bullets and teargas shells against peaceful
demonstrators. Eight women were disgraced by the
Indian occupied army terrorists.
Sixteen residential houses were damaged with heavy firing and shelling
during violent siege and search operations during the month. The killings
rendered two women widowed and four children orphaned.
On the other hand, in an attack by Mujahideen at least two
Indian occupied army terrorists
were killed at Machil in Kupwara, today. The exchange of fire was continuing
when last reports came in. The authorities strictly enforced curfew and
other restrictions, today, to thwart a march by women towards Pather Masjid
in Srinagar, call for which had been given by the forum, patronised by Syed
Ali Gilani. A group of women tried to take out a procession at Chattabal in
Srinagar but was intercepted by the police. This led to a clash between the
youth and police personnel. The APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Agha
Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi continued to remain under house arrest, today.
Illegally detained APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, talking to media men,
outside Srinagar Central Jail emphasised that India would not be successful
in subduing the Kashmiris by its state terrorism. He was shifted, today, to
the jail from Humhama Police Station. The APHC AJK in an extraordinarily
meeting in Islamabad, today, expressed concern over the ongoing spate of the
killing of teenagers by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. The meeting was
presided over by Convenor, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar.
Congress end to Afghan war The Democratic and Republican lawmakers have called on President Barack Obama to provide Congress with a clear plan to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan. The lawmakers from both sides of the political spectrum called Thursday for an end to the Afghan war. A group of US lawmakers said the war was a drain on US "blood and treasure". "Every dollar spent and every life wasted in Vietnam was just that: A waste," said Democratic Representative Jerrold Nadler. The revolt against Obama comes as Washington is expected to pump another 37 billion dollars into the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chief, Leon Panetta, recently admitted that the Afghan war has proven to be much harder and longer than anticipated. He also alluded to serious problems in the US-led war, acknowledging that the Taliban are gaining an upper hand in the battle. This is while Obama has promised to start withdrawing US forces from Afghanistan in July 2011. The rising foreign casualties have sparked anger among the public in the countries allied with the US in Afghanistan. In addition to the foreign troops' casualties, thousands of civilians have also lost their lives either in US-led raids or in the Taliban-led militancy across the violence-wracked country. Rising number of civilian causalities is undermining support for the presence of US-led forces in the country.
Abu Umar as-Sayf: ''You will not see scholars teaching
Muslims in the field of Jihad''
One of the indications of the weakness of the Ummah and its deviation from
the description of the Victorious Group today is the fact that there are
very few well learned who are fighting in the fields of Jihad. The revival
of Armed Jihad, which the Ummah experiences today, is a right time for the
seekers of the true knowledge to make a step towards Hijrah and Jihad on the
path of Allah.

Guess Who Wants to Kill the Internet? How much faith would American voters have in the likes of Lieberman, who claims that the Jewish state is their greatest ally, if they knew that Israeli agents planted firebombs in American installations in Egypt in 1954 in an attempt to undermine relations between Nasser and the United States; that Israel murdered 34 American servicemen in a deliberate attack on the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967; that Israeli espionage, most notably Jonathan Pollard’s spying, has done tremendous damage to American interests; that five Mossad agents were filming and celebrating as the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11, 2001; that Tel Aviv and its accomplices in Washington were the source of the false pre-war intelligence on Iraq; and about countless other examples of treachery?
Israeli Dr. Strangelove is USAF’s Top Civilian Adviser One would expect the Air Force’s top civilian adviser to be someone who has spent some time in the US military or who has a very particular educational or skills set that brings something special to what is, after all, a very senior and sensitive position. Not so. Dr. Lani Kass, who is the senior Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force General Norton A. Schwartz, was born, raised, and educated in Israel and then served in that country’s military where she reached the rank of major. She has a PhD in Russian studies but advises Air Force Generals on Cyberwarfare, terrorism, and the Middle East. And Kass appears to have close and continuing ties to her country of birth, frequently spicing her public statements with comments about life in Israel while parroting simplistic views of the nature of the Islamic threat that might have been scripted in Tel Aviv’s Foreign Ministry.
"Deficit Terrorism" and Economic Warfare, All the Perks are going to Wall Street, while Main Street slips into Debt Slavery Wall Street banks have been saved from bankruptcy by governments that are now going bankrupt themselves; but the banks are not returning the favor. Instead, they are engaged in a class war, insisting that the squeezed middle class be even further squeezed to balance over-stressed government budgets. All the perks are going to Wall Street, while Main Street slips into debt slavery. Wall Street needs to be made to pay its fair share, but how?
General McChrystal – The Conscientious Objector McChrystal, no doubt, was frustrated at his failure to achieve military success, whereas, General Petreaus was able to achieve a degree of success in Iraq. General Petreaus exploited the ethnic divide in Iraq and mounted a successful strategy to divide the Shia-Sunni population, through a process of ethnic cleansing, ethnic riots and target killings, using Black water security agency. On the contrary there is no such ethnic divide in Afghanistan. The Pakhtuns are fighting the invaders, while the Northern Alliance, consisting of the minorities mainly supported the invaders and rode the American tanks to occupy Afghanistan in 2001. Together with the occupation forces, they also stand defeated.

Palestinian Authority intensifies campaign against mosques in the Occupied
West Bank The Palestinian Authority in
the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah have recently issued a new
declaration banning the recitation of the Quran and the call to commence
prayer [the Iqaama] over the loudspeakers of mosques in the West Bank. The
declaration announced a strict prohibition in the use of loudspeakers in
mosques for the recitation of the Quran or the call to commence prayer. It
further specified that no sounds were allowed to emanate from mosques by way
of loudspeakers during preparations for prayer or during the call to prayer
itself. Loudspeakers are now only permitted for use inside mosque buildings.
The decision also states that anyone wishing to listen to the Quran should
carry a small copy of it in his pocket for personal worship.
In many of the West Bank's mosques, worshippers have expressed strong
condemnation, dissatisfaction and rejection of this declaration,
particularly after it was realised that copies of the authorities' blanket
decision had been put up in numerous mosques across the city. Worshippers
also noticed that in a number of mosques, neither the usual sounds of
Quranic recitation prior to the call to prayer or the call for commencement
of prayer were heard. Caretakers at these mosques have made following these
steps a customary way of announcing preparations for prayer. The protestants
added that Ramallah's 'ministry' of endowments was not satisfied with the
detention of imams, callers to prayer and mosque elders, but had begun to
separate and threaten dozens of them. Similarly, the contents of religious
sermons are determined exclusively by the ministry of endowments and its
obsolete authority.
Airport body
scanners ‘could cause cancer’ Airport
body scanners have a potentially greater risk of cancer than previously
thought, a scientist has warned. The devices emit radiation up to 20 times
more powerful than it was believed. Dr David Brenner, head of the centre for
radiological research at Columbia University in New York, said that the
concentration of the radiation on skin could pose a greater risk of cancer
than expected. The risk is due to inability of a body to repair X-ray damage
to its cells.
"If all 800 million people who use airports every year were screened with
X-rays then the very small individual risk multiplied by the large number of
screened people might imply a potential public health or societal risk,".
"The population risk has the potential to be significant,” he added.
However, Civil Aviation Authority spokesman insisted that all the health
regulations by the Department for Transport and Health Protection Agency
have been considered for the device’s use.

New study documents media's servitude to government The real issue here is the same one raised by the malleable, manipulative use of the term "Terrorism." It's to be expected that governments will try to propagandize their citizenry by applying completely different standards -- even completely different language -- to their own conduct as opposed to when other countries engage in exactly the same conduct. But when the media copies that behavior (as ours does), they're amplifying and bolstering government propaganda rather than critically scrutinizing and debunking it. Isn't that a fairly serious problem?

Neocon comeback? NYT planted story on Afghan mineral wealth
to prolong U.S. occupation, spur Petraeus presidential bid
To provide a new and spurious economic
looting argument for making the US occupation of Afghanistan virtually
endless, and to advance the candidacy of General David Petraeus as the
principal neocon warmonger candidate for president on the Republican ticket
in 2012 – these are the purposes of the story planted in the June 13, 2010
New York Times under the byline of James Risen, who is acting as
stenographer for the neocons in the great tradition of his predecessor
Judith Miller. In retrospect, this article may well be seen as the opening
gun of an overt push to place General Petraeus in the White House in 2012 as
the new Field Marshal von Hindenburg.
According to this story, a Pentagon survey has determined that Afghanistan
possesses at least $1 trillion worth of valuable minerals, including iron,
copper, cobalt, gold, and lithium – with lithium being especially valuable
because it is used in batteries for computers and for the new designs of
electric automobiles. Of course, none of this is news, as the article itself
concedes.
BP in
the Gulf - the Persian Gulf The history of the company
we now call BP has, over the last 100 years, traced the arc of transnational
capitalism. Its roots lie in the early years of the twentieth century when a
wealthy bon vivant named William Knox D'Arcy decided, with encouragement
from the British government, to begin looking for oil in Iran. He struck a
concession agreement with the dissolute Iranian monarchy, using the proven
expedient of bribing the three Iranians negotiating with him.
Under this contract, which he designed, D'Arcy was to own whatever oil he
found in Iran and pay the government just 16% of any profits he made --
never allowing any Iranian to review his accounting. After his first strike
in 1908, he became sole owner of the entire ocean of oil that lies beneath
Iran's soil. No one else was allowed to drill for, refine, extract, or sell
“Iranian” oil.
Goldman admits it had bigger role in AIG deals
However, the wagers were part of a package of deals that had a face value of
$3 billion, and in a recent settlement, AIG agreed to pay Goldman between
$1.5 billion and $2 billion. AIG's losses on those deals, for which Goldman
is thought to have paid less than $10 million, were ultimately borne by
taxpayers as part of the government's bailout of the insurer. Goldman's
proprietary trades with AIG in 2005 and 2006 are among those that many
members of Congress sought unsuccessfully to ban during recent negotiations
for tougher federal regulation of the financial industry. A McClatchy
examination, including a review of public records and interviews with
present and former Wall Street executives, casts doubt on several of
Goldman's claims about its dealings with AIG, which at the time was the
world's largest insurer. For example: _ The latest disclosure undercuts
Goldman's repeated insistence during the past year that it acted merely on
behalf of clients when it bought $20 billion in exotic insurance from AIG.
26 Indian cops killed in Maoist attack RAIPUR, India: Maoist rebels killed 26 police officers in an ambush in central India on Tuesday, police said, in the latest of a series of deadly strikes against security forces. The targeted group were returning from a road-opening ceremony when they were attacked by a large number of heavily armed militants, Ram Niwas, the head of anti-Maoist operations in the state of Chhattisgarh, said. The Maoists, who killed 76 policemen in Chhattisgarh in a similar assault in April, numbered as many as 100 and opened fire with automatic weapons from a hilltop. The officers were surrounded in the ambush, which took place in Dhodai, 300 kilometres south of the state capital Raipur, and they fought back in a gun battle that lasted three hours, Niwas said. “At least 26 security forces were killed and several injured,” he said, adding that some of the wounded were evacuated by helicopter and reinforcements had been sent to the area. The government launched a major offensive last year to tackle the worsening left-wing insurgency, but since then the Maoists have hit back — triggering widespread criticism of officials and politicians.
Kashmir In Turmoil: The Boys vs The State The Indian national media portrayed the people's uprising as something instigated by the Pakistan based mentors completely sidelining the issues at hand. By painting the present situation in Kashmir as a ‘conspiracy against his government' he has given an impression as if the protests and blood that is daily being spilled on the streets of Kashmir is just to unstable his government. While his recent statement gives more teeth to his troopers in Kashmir one wonders if Delhi has some concern about the way all this is being interpreted on the streets of Kashmir .

June 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet
Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that, on one side, the Indian
troops and police personnel are killing Kashmiris and, on the other, the
people of Kashmir have been restricted to their houses through undeclared
curfew. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed
Kashmiri people to continue their peaceful protest against Kashmiris’
massacre by troops. He said that if the occupation authorities prevented
them from holding demos on roads, then they protest in mosques. He said that
the people of Kashmir have pledged to take the ongoing liberation struggle
to its logical end despite the use of brute force by Indian troops. He said
that no power of the world could stop them from their just struggle for
right to self-determination. The APHC Chairman appealed the world community
to send teams to the occupied territory to review the situation and also
urged it to put pressure on India to stop massive human rights violations in
occupied Kashmir and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with
Kashmiri’ aspirations.
Further major arrests of Russian spies to be continued in America? It is to be mentioned that for this purpose Moscow had put under the bed of a personal friend of an unspecified Obama's minister a Russian prostitute spy, "Cynthia Murphy", with a mission to find out by what Obama lives by. In spring 2009, "Cynthia" was tasked by Moscow for information about Obama's impending trip to Russia that summer. The prostitute was also tasked to reveal the "whole truth" of personal life of US officials traveling with Obama to Russia.
Gen. Petraeus vary of tough time ahead of withdrawal The Harper government officially begins its retreat from Kandahar on Canada Day 2011. One year before that controversial deadline, however, details about the withdrawal from the war against the Taliban are shrouded in far more secrecy and mystery than many combat operations. Maj.-Gen. Mark McQuillan, head of Canadian Operational Support Command, which is responsible for the force’s biggest logistical operation since the Korean War, came and went from Kandahar a few weeks ago without being allowed to answer questions about plans to return gear worth more than $2-billion back to Canadian military bases. The government has also apparently forbidden officers with Task Force Kandahar involved in the pullout to speak about any aspect of the process. All that anyone seems to be allowed to say is that Canadian troops are definitely leaving Afghanistan; combat operations will continue until the July 1, 2011, deadline and all troops will be home by the end of next year. The one disclosure — made a few weeks ago by a visiting air force general — was that Canadian helicopter operations in Kandahar are to end by early August next year. In Washington on Tuesday, Gen. David Petraeus cautioned Americans to prepare for several more years of war in Afghanistan and cast the Obama administration’s July 2011 timeline to begin withdrawing troops as a highly flexible deadline. Appearing before the U.S. Senate’s armed services committee, Gen. Petraeus told lawmakers the pace of the American troop drawdown would “be determined by conditions” on the ground in Afghanistan — which he bluntly said would get worse before they get better.
Obama’s Moral
Bankruptcy Regarding Torture
Saturday was the International Day in
Support of Victims of Torture, established twelve years ago to mark the day,
in 1987, when the UN Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or
Degrading Punishment or Treatment came into force, but you wouldn’t have
found out about it through the mainstream US media.
No editorials or news broadcasts reminded Americans that “No exceptional
circumstances whatsoever, whether a state of war or a threat of war,
internal political instability or any other public emergency, may be invoked
as a justification of torture,” and that anyone responsible for authorizing
torture must be prosecuted, and no one called for the prosecution of George
W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld or their supportive colleagues and
co-conspirators, including, for example, John Yoo, Jay S. Bybee and Stephen
Bradbury, the authors of the Office of Legal Counsel’s “torture memos,” or
other key figures in Cheney’s “War Council” that drove the policies: David
Addington, Cheney’s former Chief of Staff, Alberto Gonzales, the former
Attorney general, and William J. Haynes II, the Pentagon’s former Chief
Counsel.

Canada to Supply Uranium to India and China India
expects to have 12 new reactors running by 2020, consuming an extra 1,500
tonnes of uranium per year. Other projects are expected, making India’s
civilian nuclear sector worth $25-billion to $50-billion over the next 20
years. Dr. Chaitanyamoy Ganguly, the President of the small Indian division
of Cameco (TSX: CCO), the world’s largest uranium miner, said Canada could
soon be exporting 2,000 tonnes of uranium to India annually. Canada has some
natural competitive advantages over other countries in the Indian market
because many of India’s reactors are already based on Canadian CANDU
technology and because Australia has refused to sell uranium until India
signs the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. India has also signed civil
nuclear cooperation agreements with the USA, Russia, France, UK, Argentina,
Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Namibia.
Cameco signed an agreement on June 24 with China Nuclear Energy Industry
Corporation (CNEIC), a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC),
to supply China’s largest nuclear generator with uranium concentrate under a
long-term agreement through 2020. The deal would see Cameco supplying
approximately 23 million pounds over the next 10 years to CNNC, which
currently operates seven reactors with a total capacity of 5,100 MW. The
state-owned CNNC, in operation for nearly 50 years, expects to be one of the
world’s leading nuclear power companies by 2020 with 10 reactors under
construction totaling capacity of 9,100 MW.

Forces Of Allah Descend In Ambon (Part II) The trials suffered by the Muslimeen in Karang Tagepe were not less heavier. Their houses and villages were complete burnt by the kafireen. There, according to them, the tummies of pregnant Muslim women were slit open. And then, the fetuses removed and chopped. Small children who were running scared and trying to save themselves, were caught and thrown into the burning fire. The screams and cries of cute little children were so heartbreaking. The devilish treatments by the Christians were committed in the name of their religion. Muslim girls were gang raped. Signs of a cross were engraved with machetes on their breasts, which were then cut out. Only when they were satisfied that the Muslimahs were killed. Many of the Muslimahs were already shaheed even before they were killed by the kafireen. The indescribable pain had stopped their heartbeats. Hopefully, Allah SWT is willing to accept them in paradise just as He has promised.
Canada,
India sign landmark N-deal Canada and
India signed a landmark nuclear deal on Sunday, ending a quarter of a
century of mistrust after India used Canadian technology to build its first
nuclear bomb. The nuclear cooperation agreement will enable India to import
Canadian nuclear equipment and technology and secure uranium, an abundant
source of nuclear energy, to fuel the Asian nation’s rapid economic growth,
officials said. Canada is the eighth nation to reach a civil nuclear deal
with India since the Nuclear Suppliers’ Group, a cartel which trades in
nuclear fuel, equipment and technology, lifted a 34-year ban on India in
2008. Aside from the United States, which spearheaded an international
effort to bring back India to the nuclear trading club, New Delhi has atomic
deals with such countries as France and Russia. Canadian Prime Minister
Stephen Harper and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh witnessed the
signing of the nuclear agreement on the sidelines of a summit of the Group
of 20 developed and emerging nations.
The two leaders provided reassurances that there were adequate safeguards in
the civilian deal. India used technology from one of reactors sold to it by
Canada to develop a nuclear arms programme in the early 1970s. “There is
absolutely no scope whatsoever of the nuclear materials or nuclear equipment
in India being used for unintended purposes,” Singh said. “We did engage in
extensive negotiations to deal with those issues and the Indian side was
very forthcoming with the safeguards we require to have absolute confidence
in those kinds of matters,” Harper said.
Meanwhile, Japan began the first round of talks with India in Tokyo Monday
on exporting nuclear power generation technology made by technology giants
such as Toshiba and Hitachi, the foreign ministry said. The first round of
two-day talks are aimed at devising a treaty to allow cooperation between
both sides on peaceful use of nuclear power, but no deadline to reach an
agreement has been set. Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada said last week that
Japan would urge India to make further efforts for nuclear
non-proliferation. India, along with Pakistan, faced a backlash in 1998 when
they declared themselves nuclear weapons states. However, New Delhi has
since signed nuclear cooperation deals with the United States and other
countries.
Israeli
Occupation Authority still banning entry of 3,500 commodities into Gaza
GAZA: MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the popular committee
against the siege, has said that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) was
still barring the entry of 3500 commodities into the Gaza Strip. He said in
a report published on Sunday that the IOA allowed only 10% of goods that
were previously banned from entering Gaza, describing the IOA talk about
easing the siege as mere propaganda and means to deceive the world and is
contrary to what is happening on the ground. The lawmaker noted that in the
first week the IOA opened two commercial crossings out of four, which were
all completely closed, then it opened one crossing for a couple of days
while the fourth was only partially opened. There is no real end to the
siege without opening all commercial crossings on permanent basis, allowing
influx of all types of goods, opening a safe passage between Gaza and the
West Bank, and finally allowing a sea route between Gaza and the outside
world under European supervision, Khudari elaborated. He championed
continued pressure on the IOA to achieve those goals, asking the UN
Secretary General and UNRWA to continue pressuring the IOA until the siege
is totally lifted. Meanwhile, a delegation of Lebanese doctors arrived in
the Gaza Strip on Sunday in a show of solidarity with the besieged people of
Gaza. The crossings and borders authority said in a statement that the 8
Lebanese doctors would remain in Gaza till next Thursday and might operate
on a number of patients.

Enemy launches a major operation in Kunar, so far 38 American terrorists killed or injured A frenzy battle erupted Sunday morning, when hundreds of US invaders backed by ground and and aerial support, which included several dozens tanks, military vehicles and more than 20 helicopters and fighter planes, try to carry out ground operation against Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Kunar's Marwi district. As this report was wired on Monday, the highly intense fighting was still in progress and by Allah's help the Mujahideen are putting up a great resisting.
The lion's of Islam have not backed off even an inch against an extremely large number of invaders and more than hundred tanks and vehicles along with enemy's planes and helicopters. About a 500 strong Mujahideen unit is fighting in different front lines and Mujahideen reinforcements are on their way to the battle zone. Report further added, that about 38 American terrorists so far have been killed or wounded, with some of enemy tanks have been destroyed, while five Mujahideen embraced martyrdom with another four wounded.
This is the largest military operation by the enemy since Mujahideen newly-launched operation Al-Fath which is ongoing across the country. The magnitude of this enemy operation is a further indicator that Mujahideen have become even stronger, firmer, organized and are ready to face any type of enemy's operation. Although the enemy has been making every possible efforts, not sparing any thing in its capacity to win this war, yet the gallantry of the Mujahideen is threatening the enemy in a disgraceful defeat all over the country. According to an independent media outlet, the ousted general, MaChrystal has been quoted as saying that he was not optimistic about the current situation in Afghanistan and did not expect any progress over the next 6 months.

The
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
deny
Jalaluddin Haqqani’s meeting
with American puppet Karzai
The
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
have termed a report about the meeting of veteran Mujahideen leader and
former
Emirate minister, Maulvi
Jalaluddin Haqqani with American puppet President Karzai in Kabul an attempt
by the enemy to create rift among the
Emirate.
“This is rubbish. There is not even one per cent truth in these reports,
which said Maulvi Jalaluddin Haqqani went to Kabul and held a meeting with
President Karzai. Why he would go to Kabul to meet the US puppet at a time
when we have an upper hand in the battlefield,” explained a senior
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
commander belonging to a faction led by Sirajuddin Haqqani, the elder son of
Jalaluddin Haqqani.
He said the
Emirate had a clear
stance about the peace talks with Karzai. “We have made it clear several
times that we would not sit for any dialogue until and unless foreign
occupying forces are withdrawn from Afghanistan,” he stressed.
The
Emirate commander said
the Afghan government and their Western masters in the past had extended
several offers to them to quit fighting and join the Karzai-led government.
“If we had any desire for power, we would have surrendered years ago and
become a part of the ruling set-up in Afghanistan. The blood of our martyrs
would not go waste and would one day bear fruit. The
Mujahideen of today are
different than those of yesteryears. Today, the Afghan people are standing
behind us as we are fighting for the liberation of Afghanistan,” he said.
He said their “enemies” launched malicious propaganda whenever they suffered
losses at Muajhideen's hands in the battlefield. Also, he felt that through
such reports, their enemies wanted to create a rift among the
Emirate leadership.
“We are a part of the
Emirate and would never
take any decision without taking the
Emirate leadership into
confidence,” the
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
commander said.
Monsanto, Big Brother of the New World Agricultural Order: An Interview With Marie-Monique Robin The first, "Biopirates," told how corporations like Monsanto were holding abusive patents on living organisms which are contributing to a new drastic reduction of biodiversity. At that I time, I heard about a company called Monsanto which already held more than 600 patents on living organisms. The second documentary, called "Wheat: Chronicle of a Death Foretold," told the story of cultivation of that golden cereal, from the very beginning 10,000 years ago until today and explained how the practices of industrial agriculture that brought the "green revolution," made thousands of local landraces and varieties disappear, a dramatic evolution which will be accelerated by GMOs [genetically modified organisms]. At the same time the so-called green revolution provoked a huge contamination of the environment through the massive use of chemical pesticides, "biocides," which "entered into living organisms, passing one to another in a chain of poisoning and death.
Disaster Aid or Aid Disaster? Haitian's Thoughts on Foreign Assistance Much of the aid pledged has not yet arrived, and may never. A lot of it has gone straight back to donor nations, as with the $.40 on every US government aid dollar that paid for the US military presence in Haiti for, at least, the first two months after the quake. [2] Untold dollars more go to US firms, like the agribusiness corporations whose surplus rice is being purchased by USAID to deliver as aid. Then there are fees and expenses paid to a small army of consultants working for foreign governments and international agencies. Many UN consultants, for example, slept until mid-March in a luxury cruise ship (the Love Boat), which the UN rented. Then, there is graft, corruption and poor planning, all of which further redirects aid dollars away from desperate earthquake survivors, up to 1.9 million of whom are left homeless, hungry and wet in tents during the rainy season.
Wall Street Congratulates Washington: A Job Well-Done We want you know how much we value the support of the leadership of both political parties in your efforts to ensure that we did not suffer from the crisis that we ourselves created. As you recall, back in the fall of 2008, our banks were flat on their backs. If you had not rushed to our rescue with trillions of dollars in loans and guarantees from the Fed and the Treasury at a time where no sane investor would talk to us, most of us would be among the unemployed today. Instead, our banks are hugely profitable and we're happy to say that bonuses are again hitting record highs.
Moral Debts and Ethical Deficits The present renewal of the drive to dismantle Social Security and turn it over to private profiteers is one among many of the lies and distortions offered as suggested solutions for our problems which will only make them much worse. Increasing budgets for war and decreasing budgets for social service only make sense to anti-social forces which profit from divide and conquer policies that reduce Americans, especially the working majority, to special interest and identity groups whose common cause is sacrificed to competition while ruling minorities practice a lucrative socialism at their expense.

Afghan officials block corruption probes: report Top officials in the government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai have often blocked corruption investigations of well-connected Afghans, US newspaper reported Monday. Citing unnamed US officials, the newspaper said Afghan prosecutors and investigators had been routinely ordered to cross names off criminal files. Top Afghan officials also protected other senior officials from being placed under arrest and forced investigators to disregard evidence against executives of a major financial firm suspected of helping the nation's elite move millions of dollars overseas, the report pointed out. "Above a certain level, people are being very well protected," the paper quoted one senior US official as saying.

Statement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan regarding the puppet Regime's mining contract with foreign companies According to a news report, American geologists have found $1 trillion worth of valuable minerals, including iron, copper, cobalt, gold, and lithium. This report is followed by the news stories of awarding contracts by the corrupt and puppet Karzai administration for mining these deposits. In fact the occupation forces are disgracefully facing the most horrible situation in Afghanistan. In order to save their face, both the American and their puppets in Kabul very restlessly “disclosed” this news to show their “eagerness” the betterment of the Afghan Masses.

‘India tops heroin consumption in S Asia’ A report compiled by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has ranked India on the top for consumption of heroin among the South Asian nations. According to the report, India consumed 17 metric tonnes (mt) of heroin in 2008 while the current consumption is estimated in the range of 65-70mt. The production of Opium, which forms the raw material for subsequent refinement to heroin, is totally indigenous. The UN report has confirmed that no foreign sourced opium has been sized nor reported as trafficked into India “Consequently, such a consumption level (six per cent of the estimated global total) would require the illicit cultivation of some 1500 - 2000 hectares of opium poppy on Indian territory “ the report said. The heroin produced by India is also finding its way into the neighbouring countries where its demand is rising. According to official reports from the governments of Nepal and Bangladesh, almost all the heroin consumed in these countries originates in India. The UN has recommended in-depth heroin consumption and trafficking study to be carried out in India.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan on the General McChrystal’s End Ahmadi rejected the reports which states McChrystal’s criticism of Obama’s war team lead to his dismissal. He said “it was the hidden help from Almighty Allah besides the bravery and sacrifices of our fearless Mujahideen which made the enemy armies bow down and proved the Obama’s strategy a great failure.” He blamed Obama for shrewdly shifting the responsibility of defeat to General McChrystal and American armies. Through these preemptive measures he wants to save his and his party’s face. But Obama will never be successful as the change of Generals will not work because the Afghan has already won this long war.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: General Petraeus' dizziness in the congress reflects the US defeat in Afghanistan The US war in Afghanistan has lasted longer than Vietnam War which was into 103 months by the time the last U.S. troop withdrew. This war has become the big military crusade by the US. The world has witnessed the worst kind of cruelty and attacks on the innocent Afghans in social and wedding gatherings under the grab of so-called slogans of peace, development and prosperity since the US aggression on Afghanistan. However, none of these acts of terrorism by the Americans has ever weakened the exemplary spirit of freedom loving Afghans.

The police may also “search, without warrant, any person entering or attempting to enter a public work”. Challenging Toronto's Corporate Security Walls In Toronto this week, contract workers are putting final touches on the three-metre high and six-kilometre long $5.5 million dollar concrete and metal security fence encompassing the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Total security bill for the G20 in Toronto and G8 in Huntsville is expected to reach over $1 billion, the most expensive in history. Within and around this armed camp are 20,000 law enforcement officials, 1,000 private security guards, closed circuit TV cameras, military-style checkpoints along with sound and water cannons.

Haitian Culture Versus NGO Culture However, it is amazingly sad to see the way that the NGOs with unlimited means have been helping the earthquake survivors in Haiti. This situation may be seen as an ironic situation in the eyes of some people, and it may be seen as a normal situation in the eyes of others. To understand the ongoing situation in Haiti right after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that hit this country on January 12 this year, it is [necessary] to understand the Haitian culture, and the imperialism culture, of the NGOs or the dominant culture.
The W.H.O. Has Another Plan To Make Us Healthier Through Forced Medicating Whenever a governmental or international agency recommends mandating something that is purportedly in the interest of our health, we have learned to duck for cover. Even in the best and most innocent cases, they have a tendency of ignoring the true causes of problems, and of treating the symptoms in a manner which creates more harm. The fellowship with the chemical industry is unmistakable, and apparently force medicating us with bleach and fluoride is not enough anymore.

cities on Friday during a general strike by Italy's largest union to protest
at cuts by Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's conservative government. The

Milan and several other cities in a bid to force the government to redraft a
25-billion-euro ($34 billion) austerity package.
The Global Political Awakening and the New World Order
There is a new and unique development
in human history that is taking place around the world; it is unprecedented
in reach and volume, and it is also the greatest threat to all global power
structures: the ‘global political awakening.’ The term was coined by
Zbigniew Brzezinski, and refers to the fact that, as Brzezinski wrote:
For the first time in history almost all of humanity is politically
activated, politically conscious and politically interactive. Global
activism is generating a surge in the quest for cultural respect and
economic opportunity in a world scarred by memories of colonial or imperial
domination.[1]
Global socio-political economic conditions directly relate to
the expansion and emergence of the ‘global political awakening’. As of 1998,
“3 billion people live on less than $2 per day while 1.3 billion get by on
less than $1 per day. Seventy percent of those living on less than $1 per
day are women.”[41] In 2003, a World Bank report revealed that, “A minority
of the world's population (17%) consume most of the world's resources (80%),
leaving almost 5 billion people to live on the remaining 20%. As a result,
billions of people are living without the very basic necessities of life -
food, water, housing and sanitation.”[42]
In regards to poverty and hunger statistics, “Over 840 million people in the
world are malnourished—799 million of them are from the developing world.
Sadly, more than 153 million of them are under the age of 5 (half the entire
US population).” Further, “Every day, 34,000 children under five die of
