Why Do We Need The Khilafah? The presence of a
demand by a handful of parties who asked that the government should
dissolve the Islamic organizations that called for the Khilafah,
surely ought to be questioned. Considering that the obligation of
establishing the Khilafah is a
shar'ie obligation which has clear
daleels based on the Qur’an,
Sunnah and Ijma’ of the
Companions. It is not surprising that the
madzhab imams and the
ulama's agreed on the
obligation.
Imam al-Qurthubi in his tafseer,
al-Jâmi’ li Ahkâm al-Qur`ân stated that there is no
difference of opinion among the
ummah, as well as the ulama's,
about the wajib ruling on
appointing a Khalifah,
except that was reported from Al-Asham, who indeed is
Asham (deaf) from the
shari'ah. In tune with that,
Imam an-Nawawi in his kitab,
Sharah Saheeh Muslim wrote
that the ummah and the
ulama's had agreed on this
obligation.
Death Is Beautiful
There was an interesting conversation between an Ustadz and the
jama'ah (congregation) of his religious teaching consisting of senior
women. The Ustadz asked his jama'ah,
“Do you Ma'ams want to enter paradise?”
All the women answered in unison, “Yeeess….”
The Ustadz asked again, “Don't you Ma'ams want
to die today?”
No one answered. Apparently, not even a person wished to die.
With a smile, the Ustadz said, “Then, how can
we go to paradise, if we are never dead”. The Ustadz continued his
question, “Do you Ma'ams want me to pray for
your long life?”
Enthusiastically, they all answered,
“Yeeess….”

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Fundamental facets of the Afghan puzzle Just like any other problem, the one in Afghanistan also has different facets or sides of which the two most important and fundamental are the foreign and internal ones. The foreign facet is important because our beloved country (Afghanistan) is occupied by one hundred and fifty thousand foreign invaders. Thousands of its real sons are languishing in Guantanamo, Bagram and the other secret and disclosed prisons of the invaders. The occupying forces, without any legal permit martyr innocent Afghans and raid their homes at night. Neither does or can the stooge Kabul administration halt this and nor does the rest of the world. So it becomes clear that the solution to this problem lies in this starting point meaning the bringing about the end of the foreign occupation.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Diapered U.S. soldiers
There have been startling reports in the different blogs and websites and media
release circulating around “diaper scarcity” or “the US-NATO troops in diapers”
over the past couple of weeks.
Few days ago, I came upon an amusingly newsworthy report under the title
“diapered soldier” or so that I’d kind of like to share with you.
According to the newspaper reports, the US authorities have quietly and
unofficially requested the Pakistani authorities for the immediate provision of
the tissue paper and pampers in the recent times.
A diplomatic source and press release said that the highly-secured and
well-equipped US-NATO troops can not venture out of the heavily-protected
armored personnel carriers to relieve themselves for the fear of facing
Mujahideen, as a result, the only option the US-NATO troops are left with is to
have on pampers so that they ease themselves comfortably while confronting
Taliban.
To put it simply, the latter choice for the US-NATO in case of lack of diapers
while fighting Taliban would be quite an embarrassing and humiliating one. Can
you imagine what it would be?” pissing their paints during the fight.”!!!
I'll let you into a little secret though; some press release has even revealed
that the US-NATO forces uncontrollably pee in their pants during the fight with
Mujahideen, or for the fear of attack by Taliban.
France acknowledges Afghan resistance following suspension of all its military operation French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced the suspension of military operation by French forces on the ground in Afghanistan and threatened an early pullout of the troops from Afghanistan if the securely measures are not restored for the French forces, according to Reuters news agency. It was the deadliest blow in a series of attacks at the hands of Afghan soldier killing four French invaders and wounding as many as 17 others. Friday's attack brought the number of the French invading killed in Afghanistan to 82 according the Reuters and Yahoo News since the invasion of Afghanistan. In fact, the number of the French killed in Afghanistan is far more than the one mentioned by the news agencies, al-Emirah said on Friday.
Meantime, it is apparently an acknowledgement of Afghan resistance of Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate by French President Sarkozy who was quoted as saying in a statement on Friday referring to an early withdrawal of the French forces flowing an announcement of all the military and training program the resulted from the killing four French invaders and 17 more by a brave and conscientious Afghan soldier.
Between Shiah, The West And Global Jihad: The Dilemma Of The Arab Future
The tension of the upheaval in the Middle East is
getting hotter, although some others are already in the phase of the
post-crisis, what remains for them is only to program the future. But some news
that developed in the Middle East this recently affirmed that the Middle East is
entering a new era that becomes an arena of competition for the three important
components of the world power.
The three powers do not simply represent the military strength, but also the
power of the ideologies and masses. Each of the Shiah, Al-Qaeda and the West (in
which includes Israel and the crony rulers that have not yet collapsed). The
three of them are the most potential powers to control the Middle East after the
crisis. Due to that, it is interesting to analyze what would the Middle East be
like in 10 or 20 years from now.
We assume that the task of overthrowing the Arab regimes will, most of it, be
completed by the year 2012. What will happen after that?
LIBYA. Libyan Muslims demand establishment of Sharia Publication time: 21 January 2012, 03:03. Western media reported that thousands of Libyan Muslims staged in Tripoli on Friday demonstration demanding the country to take Muslim Sharia laws as a legal framework. This action, according to its organizers, was a response to the emergence in the country secular political parties after the fall of the dictatorship of Muammar Gaddafi. Gathered under the banners of Islamic political and religious groups, mostly young, bearded men with copies of the Koran in hand, staged a demonstration in support of Sharia in all major areas in the capital Tripoli, in the eastern city of Benghazi and Sabha, the main town in the southern desert. At the Algiers area of Tripoli, the Muslims publically destroyed the so-called "Green book" of dictator Muammar Gaddafi on politics, economy and everyday life. Thus the protesters pointed out that the Koran should be the main source of legislation in the country. Department of Monitoring Kavkaz Center

Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding the despicable actions carried out by British soldiers against Afghan children This is the second time in the past two weeks that people have learnt of western invading forces in Afghanistan trampling on Afghan values and have unquestionably affirmed the claims of Islamic Emirate that the foreign invaders have occupied our country to violate our honor and dignity. We are once again witnesses to the anti-human crime, the target of which is regrettably once again our defenseless, oppressed and subdued countrymen. This time it is the British forces that have compelled two ten year old children (a boy and a girl) to touch the private parts of a few savage animals (soldiers) of the so called civilized world which they have also notoriously videotaped.

there The Mujahideen of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (aka
Ansar al-Sharia) offered the Saleh's regime a deal to release 400 Mujahideen
from prisons of the ruling regime in return for retreat of their fighters from
the recently liberated town of Radda. Sheikh Tariq al-Dahab, Emir of Al-Qaeda in
Radda (province of al-Baydah), told tribal mediators that the AQAP units would
retreat from the town if the so-called "transitional government" of Saleh's
regime sets free at least 400 Mujahideen from puppets' torture chambers n
Sana'a. "They also demanded the court to introduce the Sharia Islamic Law in the
town", a puppet official said on condition of anonymity.

Report: UK invading terrorists rape
Afghan kids Two British invaders terrorists fighting in
Afghanistan have been accused of raping two children aged ten in the war-ravaged
country, a report has revealed. UK officials said on Wednesday that they are
investigating allegations of “inappropriate behavior” by the soldiers, The Sun
reported. According to the paper, the solders filmed raping a boy and a girl
separately and showed the video to other servicemen who reported them. "We take
any such allegation extremely seriously," the British Ministry of Defense said.
"It would be inappropriate to comment further while an investigation is
ongoing." Afghan puppet President Hamid Karzai's office said the government is
"immensely disgusted by the rise in recent incidents of immoral nature among
foreign soldiers." The Afghan puppet government also called on Britain to
investigate and punish anyone involved. The incident comes one week after a
video emerged showing US invaders Marines urinating on dead Taliban fighters,
that caused outrage across Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Another barbaric act of American soldiers A video surfaced on Youtube website the previous Wednesday which showed the obscene and barbaric character of American soldiers as they urinated on the clean bodies of a few Afghan martyrs. This video induced the intense anger of all the Afghans, Muslims and those who respect humanity.
"We Do Not Need Your Tears Here!"
The meeting with the Palestinian fighters twitched my heart. There are those
with maimed hands, missing legs and crippled limbs. We were so touched that we
shed our tears. But the Mujahideen right away said:
“Don't cry.
“We do not need your tears here. What's
important is your do'a so that we will remain strong here to keep on fighting
for your masjid.
“Send our salam to the people of Malaysia.
Please believe in this struggle so that we can together defend the rights of the
Islamic ummah.”
Those Mujahideen smiled. We were amazed by the richness of their spirit. They do
not mind, they are ready to sacrifice their lives anytime for the sake of
defending the rights of the Muslims. Ouch! I feel so tiny when compared to the
spirit of their jihad.
Not only the adults, even the small children there have a big ambition. Just ask
those children, what do they want to be when they grow up?
Their answer is, we want to be Mujahids!
Yemen: Mujahideen of al-Qaeda exploit success and extend to country's
center
Mujahideen of Al Qaeda in the Arabian
Peninsula (AQAP) swept into the southern Yemeni town of Radda (province of al-Baydah)
overnight and overran it within hours, reports AFP referring to the tribal
sources.
The takeover of Radda, 130 kilometers (80 miles) southwest of country's capital
Sana'a, was another success in the fight of AQAP against the regime of Saleh,
who is currently undergoing a political crisis.
Radda lies only 30 kilometers from the main highway connecting the capital
Sana'a and Yemen's southern and southwestern regions, where Mujahideen control
the Emirate of Abyan and most of the province of Shabwa. (We would like to note
that AQAP units are also operating in other provinces in the south of Yemen,
where they control large areas and towns - KC).
Kashmiris to observe Indian Republic Day as Black Day Srinagar,
January 18 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the
world will observe the 26th January, the Indian Republic Day, as Black Day to
remind the international community that India’s continued denial of Kashmiris’
right to self-determination is contrary to its claim of being a democratic
republic. The day will be marked with complete shutdown in the occupied
territory. The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement
issued from New Delhi, said that India had no moral justification to celebrate
its Republic Day as it had forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The veteran
leader appealed to the United Nations to probe the massacres of Gawkadal,
Handwara and Kupwara through a war crime tribunal.
The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a media
interview in New Delhi urged pro-India parties of occupied Kashmir to resign
from power politics as Indian army was virtually ruling Jammu and Kashmir. The
Mirwaiz also called upon puppet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to seek apology
for having prank with the people in the name of revocation of the black law,
Armed Forces Special Powers Act. Another senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan
Al-Moosvi, in a statement issued in Srinagar stressed the resolution of the
Kashmir dispute according to the Kashmiris’ aspirations and called for inclusion
of the genuine leadership of the people in the dialogue process between Pakistan
and India on Kashmir. Meanwhile, hundreds of people took to streets in Pulwama
and Gandarbal districts and protested against the anti-people policies of the
occupation authorities. The occupation authorities have refused to allow family
members and relatives of illegally detained liberation leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam
to meet him at Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu.
Pro-India parties being ruled
by army in Kashmir: Mirwaiz Srinagar, January 18 (KMS): In
occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar
Farooq has urged pro-India parties to resign from power politics for being ruled
by the Indian army. In a media interview in Srinagar, the APHC Chairman asserted
that Indian army was virtually ruling Jammu and Kashmir and enjoying absolute
control over politics and the puppet administration. Mirwaiz said if the affairs
continued to be controlled by the army, time might not be far off when, instead
of talking to the political leadership, the Kashmiris might have to talk to army
generals for resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that
the utterance of an army general that India would be forced to liberate Kashmir
by 2016, if the black law, Armed Forces Special Powers Act was revoked even from
some parts “vindicates that India is holding Kashmir through its military might
and draconian laws.” It also substantiates that Kashmiris don’t want to live
with India,” he remarked.
“In light of these remarks, we hope that Indian rulers will acknowledge the
harsh realities and start dialogue with pro-freedom leadership of Kashmir and
Pakistan for just solution of Kashmir issue,” the Mirwaiz added. “Indian
leadership should realize that it had failed to forcefully suppress the Kashmiri
people’s struggle.”
The APHC Chairman also called upon puppet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to seek
apology from the people for having prank with them in the name of revocation of
the black law, AFSPA. “When India isn’t ready to revoke AFSPA even partially,
how it can settle the Kashmir dispute,” he questioned. The Mirwaiz said that
pro-India PDP and NC were playing vote politics on AFSPA while the APHC and
other pro-liberation parties demanded complete revocation of draconian laws as a
confidence building measure for the final settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
Mirwaiz said Kashmir was merely a political dispute, but had a tragic
humanitarian aspect as well. He demanded a probe by international rights groups
and agencies into the unmarked graves issue and other rights abuses perpetrated
by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding the session convened in Berlin under the orders of America Last Monday, a session was convened in Aspen Institute of Berlin city, Germany, in which a number of infamous warlords from Afghanistan participated. The session was gathered and financed by high ranking members from the American congress and its purpose was to establish a federal system in Afghanistan through these gunmen. While Islamic Emirate is exerting its full efforts to tighten and unify Afghanistan even more, the American congressmen are strongly in its opposition regarding which our stance is as follows:

Russia can be saved in no way, its collapse is inevitable and unavoidable The Ukrainian state news agency UNIAN distributed an article by Kiev analyst Boris Kushniruk about inevitability of a long-awaited collapse of the bloody Russian empire. He points out: "Back in 1999, the KGB brought to power its puppet Putin. Extremely high oil and gas prices during the first decade of 2000s gave the KGB government a chance to raise the living standards of most Russians. However, total corruption and concentration of major assets of the country in a very narrow circle of KGB bosses led to a further stratification of the population. The KGB men, by virtue of their unique features, are unable in principle to create a quality model for building economy.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Formal proclamation of Islamic Emirate’s victory The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan showed it openly to the world that it is a well-organized political power besides being a military power. It has ruled the country successfully and preserves the right and might of each and every decision of the country. It can neither accept external orders nor can it come under any one’s pressure. It is proved to the world that the Islamic Emirate is deeply rooted internally in the Afghan nation and externally in the whole Islamic Ummah. Militarily successful resistance against a gigantic international alliance, full presence on the whole soil and overall perseverance are the signs and secrets of the Islamic Emirate.

A Memoir Of A Puritan (An Account Of A Former Skinhead's Hijrah) My Brothers….. every man has his own life story. The bitter sweet portions of life make us learn and improve our selves in this life. This is a piece of the story of a young man. A piece of the story of a son of Adam who had once been easily tricked by Iblis La'natullah. A piece of the story of a young man who had become a victim of the conspiracy of the Zionist agenda. A piece of the story of someone who had once become the wooden puppet of Dajjal and his agents. "Financial Terrorism": Wall Street’s
Ratings Agencies Degrade Nine European Countries We live in
an increasingly degraded country.
Our politics are degraded and a laughing stock to the word. Our military is
demoralized and degraded with soldiers urinating on dead civilians and awaiting
deployment orders for the next illegal intervention.
Our education system has been degraded with standards falling and pervasive
defunding. Our transportation system, ditto.
I could go on, but I don’t have to. We are all living the decline with downward
mobility, jobless and foreclosures, to cite a few trends that make life so
miserable for so many.
Now, our godlike financial ratings agencies have decided to degrade nine
countries struggling to fix their financial crisis. The decision by Standard and
Poors (Best renamed, “It is now Standard to Be Poor”) to downgrade credit
ratings for France, Italy, Austria and six other European countries signals
those nations that Wall Street has them by the cojones. Their costs for
borrowing will go up.

Al-Qaida Organization in the Islamic Maghreb: ‘Urgent Warning to the
Countries of the European Captives’
الحمد لله رب العالمين، والعاقبة للمتقين ولا عدوان إلاّ على الظالمين، وصلّى الله
وسلّم على المبعوث رحمة للعالمين، أما بعد:
"Recently we heard from trust worthy sources that there are numerous movements
by the Crusader alliance, headed by France, and of their assistants and
followers in the coastal region, headed by the Algerian and Mauritanian regimes,
that clearly signal their definite preparation to launch a military operation to
target the Mujahideen in an attempt to rescue the Western hostages held captive
by the organization."
"And it clearly appears that France and her agents didn't learn from the past
lessons, and they have no intention to avoid repeating the previous stupidity
that made them cause the death of the French hostages in Niger and Mali. And
accordingly, in order to clear our conscious in front of the public opinion, and
especially the families of the hostages in France, Britain, Holland and Sweden,
we announce the following:”
“1- We send a clear warning to the government of the aforesaid countries;
France, Britain, Holland and Sweden, that their stances a military attack on the
mujahideen in north Mali will be taken as their approval for executing their
citizens…”
“2- If the military operation causes the death of the hostages, their blood will
be divided on everyone who participated in this [inevitable] aggression, and the
European governments and their followers of governments of the coastal region
will bear the full responsibility for what happens.”
“3- The Mujahideen do not wish for such a tragic ending, and they are careful to
find a peaceful and just resolution for the affair of the hostages. And based on
it, we direct an urgent call to the families of these hostages; we say to them:
you must pressure your governments to avoid…this military operation that will
surely cause the death of your relatives.”
“4- We demand from the media of the European countries in question to shed the
light on this risk and political adventure the governments are going to wage,
careless toward the blood of their citizens.”
“And finally we say to France and her allies: how many stupidities will you
experiment? And what is the necessary number of your citizens you have caused
and will cause the death of in order to be convinced that your policy toward the
Mujahideen is a wrong policy and needs revision?”
“And he who has warned has been excused.”
“And our last prayer is praise Allah Lord of the Worlds”

State terrorism cannot suppress Kashmiris’ struggle Srinagar,
January 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet
Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir
have been carrying on their struggle for securing their inalienable right to
self-determination, despite Indian state terrorism. Shabbir Ahmed Shah in a
statement issued in Srinagar, today, deplored that India was yet to honour the
promises of its leaders to give the Kashmiris an opportunity to decide their
political future by themselves. He appealed the Kashmiri people to observe the
26th January, India’s Republic day, as Black Day to convey a message to New
Delhi that they rejected its illegal occupation of their motherland.
On the other hand, the authorities booked the illegally detained leader of

US trade deficit widens sharply in
November After declining for four straight months, the U.S.
trade deficit widened in November, bringing the trade gap up to its highest
level since June. The nation's trade deficit widened 10.4% in November to $47.8
billion, the Commerce Department said. This is the largest increase since May.
Exports fell 0.9% to $177.8 billion in November, the second straight drop after
hitting a record high in September. Imports rose 1.3% to $189.7 billion in
November. Imports have been treading water after hitting $226.2 billion in May.
Market watch
Analysts surveyed by MarketWatch had expected a deficit of $43.6 billion. The
sharp increase in the deficit could cut the government's estimate of
fourth-quarter growth. While consumer goods imports declined in November, demand
for capital goods made overseas climbed to a record $43.8 billion. Automobile
imports rose $816 million in November to $22.3 billion. U.S. shipments abroad
dropped 0.9 percent to $177.8 billion even as exports of consumer goods
increased to a record $15.7 billion. The U.S. is looking for new markets to sell
its goods. In 2010, President Barack Obama set a goal of doubling U.S. exports
by 2015 as a way of promoting jobs in a tough economy. Two months ago, Congress
approved three long-stalled free trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and
Panama. By removing trade barriers, the administration says the free trade deals
will boost U.S. exports by $13 billion a year.

The Rejectionist quadrilateral... The fourth Stage of the Iraq War America succeeded in overthrowing Saddam Hussein and his security forces. They expected some resistance from the supporters of Saddam, but they knew that it is a matter of weeks or months before they lay down their weapons. What the American generals forgot in their invasion plan is that the land of Yunus bin Matta (Peace be upon him) is a land that gives birth to the people of monotheism and Jihad. So, instead of removing a disobeying puppet from Iraq and replacing him with another puppet, they created the right environment for the Islamic resistance movements. This means that America will never Quit the war in Iraq only if it’s threatening its existence on earth.
Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding
the ongoing situation in Afghanistan
January 12, 2012.
It is well known to the Mujahid nation of
Afghanistan that the Islamic Emirate has been engaged in a struggle and Jihad
for the past one and a half decade to establish an Islamic government in
accordance with the request of its people. It is for this purpose and for
bringing about peace and stability in Afghanistan that we have increased our
political efforts to come to mutual understanding with the world in order to
solve the current ongoing situation. But this understanding does not mean a
surrender from Jihad and neither is it connected to an acceptance of the
constitution of the stooge Kabul administration but rather the Islamic Emirate
is utilizing its political wing alongside its military presence and Jihad in
order to realize the national and Islamic aspirations of the nation and its
martyrs.
We must say that some sources and reports of media outlets often try to distort
realities. For this reason we would like to ask all the officials of the media
outlets to work within the framework of unbiased journalistic ethics, avoid
circulating baseless and one-sided reports and only publish that which is
confirmed by relevant sources. Similarly, if it is a report about Islamic
Emirate then it should be forwarded to the relevant office for confirmation so
it can reach the Afghan Mujahid nation and others in an authentic form. Wasalam.

Breaking news: Panjwaee
puppet district governor (Fazluddin Agha) killed KANDAHAR, Jan. 12 – Latest
reports arriving from Kandahar province say that the current district governor
of Panjwaee district (Fazluddin Agha) has been killed in a powerful bomb attack.
Reports say that at around 04:00 pm today, the mentioned governor’s convoy was
travelling from Panjwaee district to Kandahar city when explosives packed into a
Zaranj (rickshaw) struck them in Kobi area (near Panjwaee Durahi), leaving the
vehicle of the governor wrecked while 2 other vehicles were heavily damaged
besides Fazluddin Agha, 2 of his sons (Salahudding Agha and Jamal) and 8 of
their bodyguards getting killed. Sayed Fazluddin Agha was a resident of Panjwaee
district’s Nakhoni area who was appointed the district governor last year and
prior this served as the district governor of Boldak for 3 years. The mentioned
governor, on top of all the mentioned duties was also the head dozens of local
police (militia). He was also considered a very close partner of US invaders who
always tried to create rifts amongst Mujahideen and now faced his punishment
after a long period of surveillance.
Fighting till they Convert
A common hadith that missionary propagandists
often bring up is the following one:
Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 24: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said:
"I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify
that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's
Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if
they perform all that, then they save their lives and property from me except
for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."
The missionary will quote the following hadith and will happily proclaim ha!
See! The prophet Muhammad was commanded to fight people until they converted to
Islam, so Muslims must fight nonebelievers until they convert!

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan:
Judge me on my merits
With the end of the year 2011 A.D.,
most of the international media, research centers and the governments of the
contemporary world, as ever, came up their own statistics, analysis and surveys
of gains and losses in the Afghan war and overall situation in the war-torn
country.
Ironically, the reports by mainstream media, as always, have shown the progress
and improvement made by the western invaders in Afghan war throughout the year
2011 which is extremely ridiculous. In fact, since the US invasion of
Afghanistan, the human and martial losses of Americans have dramatically
increased with every passing year; as matter of fact, each year has proved more
fatal and deadlier than previous one for the US invaders who have, politically,
been faced with the world ridicule and greatest embarrassment, but when it comes
to the analysis and assessment of the situation and end result, the US has
always tried to get the credit it never deserved and falsely claimed its success
on the ground and improvement in the conditions which have never materialized.
An Idea Whose Time Has Come?
In 1938, the year of Anschluss and Munich, a perceptive British
Catholic looked beyond the continent over which war clouds hung and saw another
cloud forming.
"It has always seemed to me … probable," wrote Hilaire Belloc, "that there would
be a resurrection of Islam and that our sons or our grandsons would see the
renewal of that tremendous struggle between the Christian culture and what has
been for more than a thousand years its greatest opponent."
Belloc was prophetic. Even as Christianity seems to be dying in Europe, Islam is
rising to shake the 21st century as it did so many previous centuries.
The US Plan to Destabilize Sudan As South Sudan
implodes in a growing mass insanity of ethnic violence and once again tens of
thousands have to flee for their lives the warning signs all point towards the
US plan to destabilize Sudan having begun to hit its stride. To start with, the
US pays the salaries for the Sudan Peoples Liberation Army (SPLA, the national
army of South Sudan), over $100 million in 2011 alone. Does a country really
have independence when a foreign power pays its army’s salaries? Whose orders is
the army really going to follow? Today, thousands of UN “peacekeepers” are
pouring into South Sudan. These “peacekeepers” are almost entirely from next
door Ethiopia and are part of an Ethiopian military carrying out a
counterinsurgency/genocide in the Ogaden in south east Ethiopia. An Ethiopian
military that has repeatedly invaded Somali acting under orders from the USA.
The same Ethiopian army that six years earlier invaded Eritrea. “Peacekeepers”
indeed.
Nigeria: The Next Front for AFRICOM
On a recent trip to West Africa, the newly
appointed managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine
Lagarde, ordered the governments of Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana and Chad to
relinquish vital fuel subsidies. Much to the dismay of the population of these
nations, the prices of fuel and transport have near tripled overnight without
notice, causing widespread violence on the streets of the Nigerian capital of
Abuja and its economic center, Lagos. Much like the IMF-induced riots in
Indonesia during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, public discontent in Nigeria
is channeled towards an incompetent and self-serving domestic elite, compliant
to the interests of fraudulent foreign institutions.
Although Nigeria holds the most proven oil reserves in Africa behind Libya, its
people are now expected to pay a fee closer to what the average American pays
for the cost of fuel, an exorbitant sum in contrast to its regional neighbors.
Alternatively, other oil-producing nations such as Venezuela, Kuwait and Saudi
Arabia offer their populations fuel for as little as $0.12 USD per gallon. While
Lagos has one of Africa’s highest concentration of billionaires, the vast
majority of the population struggle daily on less than $2.00 USD. Amid a
staggering 47% youth unemployment rate and thousands of annual deaths related to
preventable diseases, the IMF has pulled the rug out from under a nation where
safe drinking water is a luxury to around 80% of its populace.
Manipulation of the UN Security Council in support of the US-NATO Military Agenda United Nations Security Council decisions are portrayed as “the will of the international community,” and Security Council action in support of a national agenda confers moral authority upon that agenda. For this reason it is crucial to understand the tactics by which UN Security Council independence is frequently usurped, and the methods of coercion, intimidation and bribery used to extort approval from reluctant members of the Security Council, or from those members adamantly opposed to a particular course of action.
Twenty-two years ago, as a result of the Untied Nations Security Council adoption of Resolution 678, which authorized the use of “all necessary means” to end the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, and “approved” the launch of the first United Nations supported Persian Gulf War, former United States Attorney General, Ramsey Clark, who had witnessed the devastating consequences of that war’s saturation bombing of Baghdad, stated that “The United Nations, which was created “to prevent the scourge of war,” has become an instrument of war.”
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Security Council has been in danger
of becoming a political battering ram used for the purpose of “legitimizing” the
neo-imperial adventures, and the reassertion of Western dominance over former
colonial territories in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East . Since 1991, the
United Nations Security Council has often been referred to as “an arm of the
Pentagon,” or “an annex of the US State Department.”
Hindutva’s Ugly
Face Again Unmasked
The news of Pakistani flag being hoisted by some
miscreants in Sindhagi town, some 60 kilometer from Bijapur in Karnataka, was
shocking. The mystery was unraveled when six members of a right-wing Hindu group
were arrested for such dastardly act. Those arrested belong to the Sri Ram Sena,
a fringe Hindu group that has a history of creating disharmony in the society.
This was confirmed by the police that miscreants who hoisted the Pakistani flag
did so with the prime motive of breaching the communal peace in an area where
there was a sizable Muslim presence.
Its not the first time the needle of suspicion has taken a 180 degree turn. The
first was the Samjutha Express blast in 2007 which many Pakistani nationals was
killed.
The act was blamed on Indian Muslim terrorist organization but investigation
later reveled that Hindu terrorist group were behind the train blast. The poor
Muslims of India were vilified for the act of which they had no clue.
The Mecca Masjid blast in 2007 has similar story. After the initial blame game
and the arrests of Muslim suspects the investigation turned around and it was
Hindutva forces that were believed to be behind the blast.
Condemn Use of U.S. Military to Escort Scab Grain Ship in Longview WA this is the first known use of the US military to intervene in a labor dispute on the side of management in 40 years – not since the Great 1970 Postal Strike when President Nixon called out the Army and National Guard in an (unsuccessful) attempt to break the strike. The use of the Armed Forces against labor unions is something you expect to see in a police state. This is part of a disturbing trend where the US military, acting as enforcers for the 1%, is poised to be used against our own people as exemplified by the new law allowing the military to imprison US citizens indefinitely without trial; and whereas, now the US military, which has been oppressing, bombing and threatening other nations [a military that’s paid for with the workers’ taxes] is now being used against us, against American working people and our unions.
Can't afford to lose track of the
cattle... 5 Things You Should Know About the FBI's Massive New Biometric
Database
Civil libertarians worry about the roll-out of Next Generation Identification, a
massive expansion of the agency's current biometric database.
The FBI claims that their fingerprint database (IAFIS) is the "largest biometric
database in the world," containing records for over a hundred million people.
But that's nothing compared to the agency's plans for Next Generation
Identification (NGI), a massive, billion-dollar upgrade that will hold iris
scans, photos searchable with face recognition technology, palm prints, and
measures of gait and voice recordings alongside records of fingerprints, scars,
and tattoos.
EU jobless rate hits historic high A quarterly report released
by the European Commission shows that unemployment has reached a historically
high level across Europe. The report, issued on Tuesday, says 9.8 percent of all
formerly-employed Europeans are currently jobless, with unemployment having
steadily escalated since last spring. According to the report, young workforce,
low-skilled workers, and migrants are among the worst hit. Youth unemployment is
said to have climbed to 5.6 million in November 2011, marking a new high of 22.3
and demonstrating a considerable increase from 15 percent in spring 2008. The
report has also warned of rising poverty among low-income households in many EU
states, particularly the Baltic countries, Spain, and Ireland. It warned that
the austerity measures, planned by governments to avert the crisis, could
deteriorate the situation of vulnerable groups if the measures are not arranged
carefully. The European Commission has also announced in a separate report that
the index of consumer confidence had fallen to a two-year low in December 2011.
Europe plunged into deep financial crisis in 2008, which has continued to
intensify over the recent months.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Independence of Islamic Emirate in its decision-making If actions are standards for recognizing and testing someone, then Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has repeatedly passed this benchmark in the past one and a half decade but despite all of this, the enemy has never seized its hands from spreading poisonous propaganda against it.
Reports about release of prisoners from
Guantanamo are untrue
Aljazeera television
published an unconfirmed report yesterday in which it claimed that 3 officials
of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have been released from Guantanamo in exchange
for the American prisoner Bergdahl who is held by Islamic Emirate. Aljazeera
channel also said that their claim has been confirmed by officials of Islamic
Emirate however the reality is that all these assertions are baseless which are
not affirmed by any officials of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. We strongly
urge all news agencies to avoid damaging their reputation by publishing such
untrue reports. They should also avoid coming under the influence the western
media outlets which want to portray as if all the problems have been solved and
through which, they want to spread concerns and keep the Muslims masses in the
dark. Our enemies must similarly realize that the courageous people of
Afghanistan under the leadership of Islamic Emirate will continue their
legitimate struggle and armed Jihad until all the occupying forces are expelled
from this soil.
The spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid
Report about the pledge of alliance of the ‘Gaaljecel’ clan to Harakaat Al-Shabaab Al Mujahideen Sunday 7/2/1433 The Somali arena witnesses in the recent period an anxious competition between the clans to support the religion of Allah, this competition comes after the Moslems realized the truth about the conspiracy that are plotted against Islam and the Moslems and the wise and ignorant understand and were sure that the right is with the mujahidin and that they are the only ones capable of protecting this religion and repelling the ferocious crusade against the riches of the Ummah, and the resistance of the mujahidin in the recent years against all the conspiracies that surrounded them affected deeply in the souls of the people, especially after they realized the love of the mujahidin and their sincerity in serving them and seeking to do all that they can to serve the Moslems and saw the size of the huge achievements that were achieved by the Islamic Wilayas and the successive victories which Allah granted the mujahidin in these harsh conditions and all this were with humble and limited capabilities, the enemies gathered against us and aimed at us in one bow but our trust in the promise of Allah was bigger than all that and Allah made the mujahidin steadfast, and the mujahidin worked in the past years to incite the Ummah towards jihad and reminded the Somali clans with their ancient past in fighting and jihad against the colonial campaigns in the region.
Questioning A Muslim's Ideological Confusion Every generation gives birth to its own rebels. The Hippies in the 60's, the Punk and Skinhead in the later eras, and the generations of status quo and other establishments rejectors in the subsequent periods. Che Guevara in South America, Mao in Asia or Lenin, Nietzche, Bakunin or even Hitler in the countries of the northern part of the world there. And every personages from those generations of rebels gave birth to ideologies that inspired the later generations. So the question is, is it proper for a Muslim who acknowledges that there is no God besides Allah, Muhammad SAW is a Rasul and the only role model, and Islam is the only worldview, to consider them as rebel heroes whom he admires and adores???
Command of Russian invaders consider results of fightings in Chechnya's Vedeno district 'catastrophic' Sources of Kavkaz Center in Chechnya referring to the family of one of Kadyrov's puppets who participated in the battles in the Vedeno district reported that at least 10 puppets were killed during the clashes with the Mujahideen. About 25 puppets were reportedly wounded. And at least 9 of them are in extremely critical condition. Thus the puppets have found a body of only one Mujahid in the area of fighting. Kadyrov's statement about 5 killed Mujahideen has not been confirmed.
Russians admit 19 their terrorists killed or wounded in Chechnya The situation has sharply improved for the Jihad in the Province of Nokhchicho (aka Chechnya/Ichkeria) of the Caucasus Emirate since the beginning of January 2012. After the ringleader of Chechen minions Kadyrov once again "counted" 50 Mujahideen, fierce fightings unfolded almost simultaneously in western and eastern Chechnya. According to the latest official figures from the KGB agency Life News, 19 Russian invader terrorists has been already killed or wounded in continuing battles with the Mujahideen in Chechnya. The elimination of Russian thugs goes on.
American terrorists military illegal drone strike martyrs 4 and wounded many in
NW Pakistan At least four people have been martyred and many
wounded in a US illegal terror drone strike in Pakistan's northwestern tribal
region near the Afghan border. The terror attack occurred late on Tuesday night.
US illegal terror drone operations were halted in November 2011 after NATO
airstrikes on two Pakistani military border checkpoints in Mohmand agency killed
24 Pakistani soldiers. The airstrikes sparked angry protests across the country.
Pakistan's military issued new directives and warned the Pentagon that it would
shoot down drones if they violate Pakistani airspace. Pakistan also closed the
border crossings that were used to transport supplies to US-led forces in
Afghanistan and ordered all US personnel to vacate a remote airfield in
Balochistan province.
China slams US military adventurism China says the accusations
leveled against the country in the new United States defense strategy are
“groundless” and aim to counter the Asian country's growing power. “The charges
against China in this document are groundless and untrustworthy," Chinese
Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said on Monday, dismissing the notion that
Beijing poses a threat to any other nation. The remarks come days after US
President Barack Obama unveiled a defense strategy to expand the country's
military presence in the Asia-Pacific in a bid to switch the Pentagon's focus to
the Far East and shift away from large ground wars against militants. The US
document demands that China clarify its strategic intent as its military power
grows. Liu said China's “defense modernization” focuses on increasing national
security and peaceful development while “playing an active role in maintaining
regional peace and security.”
Washington's recent shift has been prompted by its concerns China's growing
military and its arsenal of anti-ship missiles. On Friday, China's Xinhua news
agency warned that any American militarism in the Asia-Pacific region would
“endanger peace instead of enhancing regional stability.” Tensions have
escalated since the US said it would strengthen its military presence in the
Asia-Pacific region despite fiscal constraints. China is concerned that
Washington's new defense stance is aimed at encircling Beijing. There are rising
concerns in the United States about the growing size and capabilities of the
Chinese military.
Israel’s student debate champions are "hasbara" agents for the state, says their

praise for Omer and Sela Nevo, two brothers and students from Tel Aviv
University who won the World Universities Debating Championships in the English
as Second Language category, held in Manila. [...]
While debate ought to be about quick and critical thinking, the Cohen-Idov is
eager for his charges to become – voluntarily – mouthpieces of state propaganda,
even explaining away Israel’s Gaza massacre (“Operation Cast Lead”) to Iraqis.

Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir: “Deradicalization, An Accursed Munkar” The deradicalization is a munkar which is accursed by Allah SWT. Thus was the latest statement of Ustadz Abu Bakar Ba’asyir (ABB) which he delivered from the Bareskrim detention center, Police Main HQ, Tuesday (3/1). The Muslims are being forced to be soft on the shirk and munkar, so that the practices of their tawheed are blended with shirk and their iman are integrated with the kafir ideology. Therefore, Allah forbids us to follow it!
The News On The Arrest Of Two Mujahideen From Indonesia Is Fake!
JAKARTA – The news about two Mujahids from Indonesia, along with three
other Mujahids, being arrested by the security forces of Philippines, Wednesday
(4/1), turns out to be false. The falseness of the news was obtained by
Arrahmah.com from a source that can be trusted. A cheap propaganda by spreading
false news like this is common in the heat of the global jihad confrontation
between the Mujahideen and their enemies. Beware!
Mujahideen arrested, fake news
A fake news was being reported by foreign media, including the arabnews,
Wednesday (4/1), related to the arrest of five Mujahids in an isolated island in
Southern Philippines. Out of the five Mujahids, two of them were reported to be
Mujahids from Indonesia. The five Mujahids predicted to be members of the JI (Jemaah
Islamiyah) are alleged to be a link between the Filipino Mujahideen and
potential foreign financiers and military trainers of the Al-Qaeda network. All
of the five Mujahids are led by a trained engineer, Zulkifli bin Hir, one of the
key figures of the jihad group in South East Asia. Washington offers 5 millions
US dollar for Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan. “They appeared to be moving
actively around Sulu,” said the military commander Lieutenant General Raymundo
Ferrer as quoted from the arabnews website, Wednesday (04/01).
Propaganda in the global jihad
Apparently, the news report is false. The certainty of the falseness of the news
was delivered by a trusted source of Arrahmah.com. As for the intent and purpose
of the spreading of the fake news is of course for a propaganda to mislead and
weaken the Mujahideen. In the fake news, Ferrer also said that, other Mujahideen
managed to be aptured were Abdullah Ali alias Muawiyah, and two others suspected
to be of Indonesian nationals known by the name Qayim and Sa’ad, as well as a
Malaysian national named Amin Baco alias Abu Jihad. Thus was the clarification
on the fake news about the arrests of two Mujahideen from Indonesia in
Philippines last Wednesday (4/1). Indeed, what had been expressed by Sheikhul
Jihad, Sheikh Abdullah Azzam is true, that one of the heavy duties of the jihad
media besides defending jihad and the Mujahideen is to issue a release in a form
that is best in fighting the media attack being campaigned by the enemeis.
British press warns of growing Russian threat and brewing war with Russia
The London's Daily Mail warned in an article entitled "What do
you do when war is brewing? Disarm" about an increased Russian threat against
the background of the weakening Western alliance. The newspaper notes in
particular:
"Faced with a calamitous economic situation, all Western countries are cutting
their military expenditure to risible levels. They are becoming small-time
players, but they are still talking a big game.
Announcing the better part of $ 500 billion in
cuts over 10 years, and hinting at another $ 500 billion soon, President Obama
warned all potential adversaries: the US military will be leaner, but even
meaner: "We'll be strengthening our presence in the Asia Pacific".
Years on: Kashmiris remain in jails under black laws Srinagar,
January 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, many Kashmiris who were charged under
black laws TADA and POTA years ago are still under trail in special court of
Srinagar for years without any sign of conclusion. A Srinagar-based English
daily in its report said that almost 80 to 90 cases were under trial in
Srinagar’s Special TADA and POTA courts. There are reports that a number of such
cases are under trial in special courts of Jammu as well. One Bashir Ahmed is
facing the trial under the black law for the past 12 years. “The trial of
several such cases is going on in the special court of Srinagar and they are
regularly taken up for hearing. But either due to absence of accused or the lack
of witness from prosecution side, the cases are not concluded,” said advocate
Shafqat.
After rigorously following the case all these years, the court has been able to
record statements of only two witnesses. The case has a total of 15 witnesses.
Pertinently, TADA was enforced in occupied Kashmir in 1987 to contain people’s
activities of demanding right to self-determination. But after too much
condemnation by human rights activists at the regional and international levels,
it was withdrawn in 1993 from the occupied territory. In 2001, POTA, a similar
law, was enacted which was subsequently annulled in 2004. However, the people
who were booked under these draconian laws continue to suffer and are still
facing trial in the courts.
US Debt Visualized Now compare it to the $600+T in toxic credit default swaps that Wall St. is still trading and getting bailout money for. The crooks? The Banksters, kids. As Meyer Rothschild said so eloquently a few hundred years ago, "Give me control of a nation's money supply and I care not who makes the laws" Has there been a single bankster even go on trial or be held accountable ("we just lost the $8B, sorry") Not a one. Nada. Zippo. Zilch. $114T is chump change to Wall St. greed.
Western Oil Firms Remain As US Exits Iraq The end of the US military occupation does not mean Iraqis have full control of their oil. While the US military has formally ended its occupation of Iraq, some of the largest western oil companies, ExxonMobil, BP and Shell, remain.

American terrorists bomb Musa Kala, 8 civilians martyred HELMAND, Jan. 06 – There are reports arriving from Musa Kala district of Helmand province which state that 8 innocent civilians which include 2 children were martyred yesterday while several others were wounded when cowardly American terrorists carried out airstrikes on the homes of locals in Gobar village. Officials say that the bombing was carried out when the invaders suffered heavy casualties from an ambush on their patrol in the mentioned area.
China warns US on new military strategy China's state media has
criticized the United States' major strategic shift into Asia-Pacific, accusing
Washington of being a troublemaker responsible for tensions in the region.
"While boosting its military presence in the Asia-Pacific, the United States
should abstain from flexing its muscles, as this won't help solve regional
disputes," said an editorial published by China's state-run Xinhua news agency
on Friday. Xinhua warned that any American militarism in the Asia-Pacific region
will “endanger peace instead of enhancing regional stability.” The warning came
a day after US President Barack Obama unveiled a defense strategy to expand the
country's military presence in the Asia-Pacific and switch the Pentagon's focus
to the Far East. Obama claimed on Thursday that while the US military is in a
"moment of transition" after a decade of war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the
government will "maintain our military superiority." China is concerned that
Washington's new defense posture is aimed at encircling Beijing. There are
riding concerns in the United States about China's growing military stature
during the recent years both in size and capabilities.
Islamic parties win Egypt third vote Two main Islamic parties in
Egypt have announced wining over 60 percent of the vote in the final stage of
the parliamentary elections. The Freedom and Justice Party of the Muslim
Brotherhood said on Saturday that it had garnered 35.2 percent of the party list
vote. The al-Nur party also said it received 27 percent. The two Islamic parties
took 65 percent of the vote in the first two phases of Egypt's first general
election since the ouster of former President Hosni Mubarak in February.
Egyptians went to the polls in three stages to choose a new parliament tasked
with drafting a new constitution. Once the new parliament has been sworn in, a
commission will be appointed to draft a new constitution before presidential
election is held by the end of June. The elections came in response to
increasing public demand for a shift from military rule to a civilian
government.

"Military men are dumb,
stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." Henry
Kissinger, quoted by Bob Woodward in The Final Days, 1976
The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional
takes a little longer. "[The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S.
participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will
be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it's
perceptions." -- Henry Kissenger, World Affairs Council Press
Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, April 19th 1994
"I helped make Mexico safe for American oil interests in 1914," "I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested." Indian worshippers of idols occupied army terrorists martyr 168 innocent
Kashmiris in 2011 Islamabad, January 01 (KMS): In occupied
Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 168
innocent Kashmiris including 8 women and 10 children during the year 2011.

Human Rights Review – Jammu and Kashmir in 2011: JKCCS This
year has been very significant for those struggling against the human rights
abuses in Jammu and Kashmir. It is for the first time a state institution like
State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) endorsed the findings of Association of
Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) and International People’s Tribunal for
Human Rights and Justice in Kashmir (IPTK) regarding the presence of unmarked
graves and mass graves in north Kashmir, besides acknowledging the possibility
of burial of some of the people subjected to enforced disappearances in these
unmarked graves and mass garves. So far APDP/IPTK has submitted the prima-facie
evidence of 6217 unmarked graves and mass graves in 5 districts; Kupwara,
Baramulla, Bandipora, Poonch and Rajouri. While as the SHRC has acknowledged
existence of 2156 unmarked graves and mass graves in Kupwara, Baramulla and
Bandipora. The SHRC inquiry in Poonch and Rajouri is not yet concluded.
Jewish terrorists martyr 180 Palestinians, Including 21 Children, in 2011 The State of Israel killed 180 Palestinians in 2011, including 21 children. These shocking figures were given in a report issued by the Palestinian Liberation Organisation entitled, “A People under Occupation”. The year also saw 3,300 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem detained by the Israeli occupation authorities. The PLO report noted that in 2011 alone the government of the Zionist state approved the construction of another 26,837 settlement units across the Occupied Palestinian Territories, including 1,664 housing units in and around Occupied Jerusalem; almost 4,000 acres of land belonging to Palestinians have been confiscated by Israel; 495 houses have been demolished; and 18,764 olive and fruit trees have been uprooted. With regards to Jerusalem, the report records that the establishment of the Shu’fat military checkpoint by the Israelis, which separates Jerusalem from the Shu’fat refugee camp, has resulted in the isolation of more than 60,000 Palestinians living in the camp and the areas around it. This is part of what the compilers of the report confirm is Israel’s Judaisation policy, as was the closure of the Magharba Gate Bridge which leads to Al Aqsa Mosque. Illegal Jewish settlers, claims the PLO report, have committed a series of “terrorist” attacks on mosques throughout 2011, which escalated in December with arson attacks on the Okasha Mosque in West Jerusalem, the Nour Mosque in the village of Burqa in Ramallah, and the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque in the village of Bruqin village in Salfit. Settlers also, the report notes, wrote racist slogans on the Sahaba Mosque in Bani Naim in Hebron and violated the sanctity of the St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church near the River Jordan. Also in December, Jewish settlers set fire to at least 12 Palestinian vehicles across the occupied West Bank and confiscated around 500 acres of Palestinian land to expand their illegal settlements near Jenin and Bethlehem.
'Mauritania busts Israeli spy network' Mauritania has reportedly
exposed an Israeli spy network consisting of 'international activists and Arab
businessmen,' which operated in different countries across the globe. The
revelation came, when local police officers in the West African country arrested
a member of the network for robbery, Lebanese broadcaster Al-Manar reported on
Wednesday, citing Mauritanian sources. According to the report, the man has been
identified as a Fares al-Banna. While searching his house, the police found
handwritten letters to the United Arab Emirates ambassador in Mauritania, in
which al-Banna had confessed to being a spy hired by the Israeli spy agency,
Mossad. The Emirati ambassador has, however, reportedly dismissed any form of
communication with al-Banna. In other letters, he had also confessed to having
been involved in the assassination of the senior Hamas official, Mahmoud al-Mabhouh,
who was killed on January 19, 2010 in Dubai. Dubai's police have said evidence
confirms Mossad's role in the targeted killing.
terrorist Obama Spins ‘New’ Global Military Strategy as Massive Change
President Obama held a high-profile press conference at the Pentagon briefing
room today to dot the I’s and cross the T’s on his “new global military
strategy,” which officials last night called a “realistic vision” that would cut
tens of thousands of ground troops from the active combat roles. The
announcement came wrapped in the same language as every other “new” strategy for
military spending announced during the Clinton, Bush and Obama Administrations,
that of moving beyond “outdated Cold War-era systems” with increases in spending
on pricey warplanes and battleships. During the talk Obama focused repeatedly on
“smaller conventional ground forces,” while trying to reassure that the changes
wouldn’t impact America’s global military hegemony, giving all the indications
that this is an actual cut. Which, of course, it isn’t. The “new” vision is
actually an increase in spending going forward, centering on dramatic increases
in spending for warplanes, with an eye toward more Libya-style wars – President
Obama even cited Libya in his speech. The official spin remains that Libya was a
runaway success with zero civilian casualties, a position that they have
maintained in the face of evidence of significant numbers of civilian casualties
and acting outraged at calls for investigations into those deaths. Libya, for
its part, continues to drift inexorably toward another civil war, potentially
even deadlier than the one the US insinuated itself into.
Monsanto spends whopping $2 million in third quarter 2011 lobbying federal
government If you have ever wondered how the biotechnology
industry has been able to develop the cozy and unquestioning relationship with
the federal government that it has today, you need not look much further than
Big Biotech's lobbying expenditures. According to a recent Bloomberg
Businessweek report, biotech giant Monsanto spent a whopping $2 million just in
the third quarter of 2011 lobbying the federal government to support its agenda.
One of its loftiest lobbying seasons on record, Monsanto's Q3 payoffs to our
so-called public servants in Washington has kept the wheels greased, so to
speak, for expanding its monopoly on patented agriculture. This multi-million
dollar bribe from the world's most evil company (http://www.naturalnews.com/030967_Monsanto_evil.html)
will help ensure that genetically-modified (GM) alfalfa, for instance, avoids
running into any more regulatory roadblocks, even though the crop is useless,
and will only serve to contaminate the entire food supply.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: Karzai’s Anti-national and Pro-warlord Demeanor The Muslim and Mujahid people of Afghanistan know that the Head of the Kabul Puppet Administration relies on a limited number of warlords for continuation of his reign rather than relying on (the support of) of the nation. Hence, he always opts to tread on national and people’s interests in order to please the warlords. He tends to do that which caters to the interest of a miniscule clique of warlords. As yet, he does not wield a national strategy but toes the line of a factional policy. That's why his stance is bereft of constancy and steadiness. Ostensibly, he speaks of national sovereignty and of the welfare of people but practically, we see that there are thousands of Afghan detainees who have been suffering in the Bagram Air Base and other American bases now for years, and without a trial. But this does not prick his conscience to feel the need of a national sovereignty! Still more, as an Afghan, he has not taken any practical step as to the atrocities committed by the invaders, nor has he risen to the occasion to prevent the night raids being conducted by the invaders. This is amidst reports, that a number of officials of the Puppet Administration and their family members have either been killed or harmed during the night raids, let alone other common Afghans who have fallen victims to the brutalities.
The Mufti Of The Thaghut Is A Thaghut The first and the last to be the obligation for a Muslim is Tawheed; and the first pillar of Tawheed is kufr bi thaghut, or rejecting thaghut. Undoubtedly, one cannot be a Muslim unless he rejects all forms of thaghut, whether it be in the form of a concept, an object or a person (like the ruler who does not apply the Islamic law, or the ulama's who allow what Allah SWT forbids).
RUSSIAN SPRING. New 'Putin's Goebbels' indirectly confirms panic and paranoia in Kremlin This is Volodin's first decision of note, and it signals a shift back toward the dogma codified in an old Russian joke, the one about an American and a Russian arguing over freedom of speech. The American says," Listen, I can stand outside the White House and yell 'Obama is an idiot' and nothing will happen to me. The Russian says, "Big deal, I can just as easily stand on Red Square and yell 'Obama is an idiot'."
Drug research routinely suppressed, study authors find Drug research, even from clinical trials sponsored by the federal government, routinely is suppressed, harming patients and increasing health care costs, according to new data highlighting an ethical controversy that continues to plague the field of medicine.
Counsel of Foreign Affairs has officially announced: The Failure of the
Euro The euro should now be recognized as an experiment that
failed. This failure, which has come after just over a dozen years since the
euro was introduced, in 1999, was not an accident or the result of bureaucratic
mismanagement but rather the inevitable consequence of imposing a single
currency on a very heterogeneous group of countries. The adverse economic
consequences of the euro include the sovereign debt crises in several European
countries, the fragile condition of major European banks, high levels of
unemployment across the eurozone, and the large trade deficits that now plague
most eurozone countries.
The political goal of creating a harmonious Europe has also failed. France and
Germany have dictated painful austerity measures in Greece and Italy as a
condition of their financial help, and Paris and Berlin have clashed over the
role of the European Central Bank (ECB) and over how the burden of financial
assistance will be shared.
Occupation installs cctv cameras inside the Aqsa Mosque Occupied Jerusalem- The Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage revealed that the Israeli occupation on Tuesday installed cctv cameras to monitor the Aqsa Mosque, especially from the side of the Maghareba Gate. The organisation condemned, in a statement on Wednesday, this serious step by the occupation, pointing out that the occupation authorities aim to restrict and intimidate worshippers inside the Aqsa Mosque, stressing that Muslims will continue to keep a constant presence in the mosque to defend it. Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, head of the Jerusalem Awqaf, stressed that this was a serious precedent which is rejected and the cameras must be removed immediately. He added: “We are following the matter. I official wrote to the police telling them that what they did was a serious precedent, and the cameras must be immediately removed." The Aqsa Foundation said that occupation technicians, on Tuesday, installed two cameras above the Maghareba gate, a position from which a large area of the Aqsa Mosque can be monitored.
Code, scan, trade and profit. A new wave of computer enabled insider trading A new Wall St. scam! Rumors are circulating about a new Wall St. research service scam that goes like this… Research reports are written with both recommendations and coded phraseology that enables pre-market manipulation. The way it works – a report that gives recommendations also contains coded phraseology that programs trading bots on the exchange that ‘read’ the report and make various trades. Certain word, symbol and number combinations in the report are picked up by the bots who put on the trades based on the coded info. In the following research report – the report spells out a recommendation – that will make the trades put on as the result of the previous report profitable. Let’s say in January, the research says “We love tech. and big pharma” but hidden in the report is coded info that was picked up by trading bots who went long Co. X. The following report recommends Co. X, making those pre-trades profitable (while containing new coded messages for the trading bots in anticipation of the next report). This ‘research’ service is sold to traders for a hefty fee. It’s inside info that is virtually impossible to detect available to a firm’s best clients on a regular basis. Simply buy the service and enable your computer software that ‘reads’ the research to pick up the code that will trigger what trades will be profitable when the next report is published.
Seven Years After Sieges, Fallujah Struggles Fallujah, Iraq - Fallujah still bears the scars of war; skeletons continue to be pulled from the rubble of bombed buildings, and, worse, rates of birth defects and childhood malformations have skyrocketed. There is evidence of reconstruction, but shortages of electricity and clean water remain prevalent. The overall mood in the city is one of anger, hopelessness, and fear.
Iraq. Began With big lies. Ending With Big Lies. Never Forget Ah yes, the history books, the multi-volume leather-bound set of "The Greatest Destructions of One Country by Another." The newest volume can relate, with numerous graphic photos, how the modern, educated, advanced nation of Iraq was reduced to a quasi failed state; how the Americans, beginning in 1991, bombed for 12 years, with one dubious excuse or another; then invaded, then occupied, overthrew the government, tortured without inhibition, killed wantonly, ... how the people of that unhappy land lost everything — their homes, their schools, their electricity, their clean water, their environment, their neighborhoods, their mosques, their archaeology, their jobs, their careers, their professionals, their state-run enterprises, their physical health, their mental health, their health care, their welfare state, their women's rights, their religious tolerance, their safety, their security, their children, their parents, their past, their present, their future, their lives ... More than half the population either dead, wounded, traumatized, in prison, internally displaced, or in foreign exile ... The air, soil, water, blood, and genes drenched with depleted uranium ... the most awful birth defects ... unexploded cluster bombs lying anywhere in wait for children to pick them up ... a river of blood running alongside the Euphrates and Tigris ... through a country that may never be put back together again.
Signs that China’s property bubble is imploding There is mounting evidence that China’s massive real estate speculation “bubble” has begun to burst. The result will destabilise the country’s banking system, slow its economic growth and impact heavily on the world economy, which has relied on China as a major source of growth since the global financial crisis began in 2008.
Haiti:
Seven Places Where Earthquake Money Did and Did Not Go Right
after the earthquake, the US allocated $379 million in aid and sent in 5000
troops. The Associated Press discovered that of the $379 million in initial US
money promised for Haiti, most was not really money going directly, or in some
cases even indirectly, to Haiti. They documented in January 2010 that thirty
three cents of each of these US dollars for Haiti was actually given directly
back to the US to reimburse ourselves for sending in our military. Forty two
cents of each dollar went to private and public non-governmental organizations
like Save the Children, the UN World Food Program and the Pan American Health
Organization. Hardly any went directly to Haitians or their government.
The overall $1.6 billion allocated for relief by the US was spent much the same
way according to an August 2010 report by theUS Congressional Research Office:
$655 million was reimbursed to the Department of Defense; $220 million to
Department of Health and Human Services to provide grants to individual US
states to cover services for Haitian evacuees; $350 million to USAID disaster
assistance; $150 million to the US Department of Agriculture for emergency food
assistance; $15 million to the Department of Homeland Security for immigration
fees, and so on.

Israeli students to get $2,000 to spread state propaganda on Facebook
The National Union of Israeli Students (NUIS) has become a full-time
partner in the Israeli government’s efforts to spread its propaganda online and
on college campuses around the world. NUIS has launched a program to pay Israeli
university students $2,000 to spread pro-Israel propaganda online for 5 hours
per week from the “comfort of home.” The union is also partnering with Israel’s
Jewish Agency to send Israeli students as missionaries to spread propaganda in
other countries, for which they will also receive a stipend. This active
recruitment of Israeli students is part of Israel’s orchestrated effort to
suppress the Palestinian solidarity movement under the guise of combating
“delegitimization” of Israel and anti-Semitism.

Statement of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan regarding negotiations It is a unambiguous reality that the Islamic movement of Taliban arose to establish an Islamic system in Afghanistan, uproot injustice, eradicate narcotics and the local writ of gunmen, strengthen security and to form national unity and with the help of Allah and with the backing and sacrifices of the nation, it was able to eradicate corruption and establish an Islamic government in the various provinces and the capital in a very short period of time. It almost completely eliminated the years of strife and fragmentation in the whole country and was able to bring ninety five percent of the country under the control of the central government. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has always tried to solve the problems with the opposition through talks.

Feminism, Goodness Or Jahiliyah (Ignorance)? Not a few of our women love to be elusive, avoiding the basic roles and duties which they perceived as a binding problem. What the girls want is to be free and dynamic always, ending up in them becoming lazy to be a wife. Once they have become a wife, the still do not stop making sensations, they are phobic to have children. Even if they are forced to have, it is sufficient to slip just once, so they say. Still they don't want to give their breast milk, whereas it is the best and most pleasant for the children.
Botoxic Putin faces either resignation, or palace coup The daughter of Nikita Khrushchev, Nina, a professor of international affairs in the American The New School and a senior fellow at the World Policy Institute in New York, published in the magazine New Europe an article entitled "Russia's botoxic president returns", where she in particular points out:
Meet The Psychopathic Settlers
While America shuts down fire houses, cuts infant nutrition, US subsidizes
Israel army sushi courses
There’s an astonishing piece of news in Israel’s
Haaretz today under the headine “Israel allocates funds to help former IDF
soldiers become sushi chefs”:
Demobilized soldiers will be able to study Asian cooking this year at the
government’s expense, as part of an effort to reduce the number of foreign
workers employed as cooks in Asian restaurants by training Israeli professionals
to replace them.
It’s shocking for two reasons – one is the xenophobia that is rising to
astonishing heights in Israel: not even the cooks of foreign cuisine can be
foreign (I’ll come back to this) – but because of what it says about how Israel
is using US military aid at a time of drastic cuts and austerity for American
citizens.
Jewish groups get most money from federal security grants A
week after a man killed a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum
in Washington in 2009, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano cited the
murder as proof that nonprofit institutions were at risk of attack and could be
helped by federal security grants. In an event announcing $1.7 billion in
Department of Homeland Security grants, Napolitano noted that 63 percent of
nonprofit grant recipients were "affiliated with Jewish organizations." The
following year, according to the Jewish Federations of North America, that
number grew. In 2010, 94 percent of the department's nonprofit security funding
went to Jewish groups.
World’s Biggest Economies Face $7.6T Debt Governments of the world’s leading economies have more than $7.6 trillion of debt maturing this year, with most facing a rise in borrowing costs. Led by Japan’s $3 trillion and the U.S.’s $2.8 trillion, the amount coming due for the Group of Seven nations and Brazil, Russia, India and China is up from $7.4 trillion at this time last year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Ten-year bond yields will be higher by year-end for at least seven of the countries, forecasts show. Investors may demand higher compensation to lend to countries that struggle to finance increasing debt burdens as the global economy slows, surveys show. The International Monetary Fund cut its forecast for growth this year to 4 percent from a prior estimate of 4.5 percent as Europe’s debt crisis spreads, the U.S. struggles to reduce a budget deficit exceeding $1 trillion and China’s property market cools. “The weight of supply may be a concern,” Stuart Thomson, a money manager in Glasgow at Ignis Asset Management Ltd., which oversees $121 billion, said in a Dec. 28 telephone interview. “Rather than the start of the year being the problem, it’s the middle part of the year that becomes the problem. That’s when we see the slowdown in the global economy having its biggest impact.”
Watch Out: USA's Long Arm Has Reached You! President Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law on New Year’s Eve. The bill provides a massive $662 billion for the US war machine and makes unprecedented inroads into democratic rights, authorizing the US military to seize individuals anywhere in the world and hold them in a military detention facility indefinitely, without a trial or any other legal recourse.

Monsanto’s roots have penetrated key positions within the United States
government, with the cables reporting that many U.S. diplomats work directly for

Japan developing cyber weapon: report Japan has been developing a virus that could track down the source of a cyber attack and neutralise its programme, the daily Yomiuri Shimbun reported Sunday. The weapon is the culmination of a 179 million yen ($2.3 million) three-year project entrusted by the government to technology maker Fujitsu Ltd to develop a virus and equipment to monitor and analyse attacks, the daily said. The United States and China are reported to have put so-called cyber weapons into practical use, Yomiuri said. Japan will have to make legal amendments to use a cyber weapon as it could violate the country's law against the manufacture of a computer virus, the daily said. In November a computer system run by about 200 Japanese local governments was struck. In October, Japan's parliament came under cyber attack, apparently from the same emails linked to a China-based server that have already hit several lawmakers' computers. It was also reported that Japanese computers at embassies and consulates in nine countries were infected with viruses in the summer. Currently, the virus is being tested in a "closed environment" to examine its applicable patterns.

US invaders Chinook helicopter shot down by Mujahideen in Gerimsir district HELMAND, Dec. 31 – Officials from Gerimsir district of Helmand province say that Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate shot down a US Chinook helicopter with an RPG last night. As per report, the enemy tried to carry out an operation on a Mujahideen compound last night and was on its way back when the attack took place, causing the helicopter to catch fire before violently crashing onto the ground, instantly killing all 35 enemy troops onboard. The flames were still billowing from the helicopter this morning. It is worth reminding that 5 enemy helicopters have been shot down by Mujahideen in Afghanistan during the past ten days. 2 were shot in Zabul district ten days ago, the third in Gerishk district five days ago, the fourth yesterday in the northern province of Saripul and the fifth last night ince again in Helmand province (Gerimsir district).
The Grand Mosque in Bir Al-Saba' is now a "Judaisation Museum"
The Al Aqsa Foundation has accused the Israeli government of turning the Grand
Mosque in Bir Al-Saba’ into a “Museum of Judaisation”. Such a move by the local
municipality “is invalid” claims the Foundation: “The Grand Mosque is a sacred
place and a religious endowment property; it cannot be used for purposes other
than Islamic worship.” Built in 1906 during Ottoman rule, the Grand Mosque is
now home to a variety of images, statues and other “disgraceful” things which
violate the sanctity of the mosque and the feelings of Muslims, said a statement
released by the Foundation. A delegation from the Al Aqsa Foundation made a
field visit to the mosque to inspect the violations of Israel’s Bir Al-Saba’
Municipality. The members of the delegation made a point of praying in the
mosque to “emphasise its purpose and sanctity”. It should be returned to its
original purpose and not used as a museum or other showcase, they said. Al Aqsa
Foundation’s deputy head, Hajj Sami Rizkallah Abu Mukh, said that the Israelis
had hung photographs on the mosque’s walls showing Zionist gangs’ seizure of Bir
Al-Saba’ and occupation of the mosque in 1948, alongside pictures of the Israeli
history in the city. He said that this sacrilege against a holy place broke his
heart, especially when he saw statues of Israeli and British soldiers in the
corners of the mosque, and big screens displaying indecent scenes, including
people drinking wine and dancing. Hajj Abu Mukh added that the municipality is
trying to deceive public opinion by displaying historical photos of the mosque
from the Ottoman era; most of the pictures are from the British Mandate period
up to today. "Bir Al-Saba'," he added, "is historically an Arab and Islamic
city." He deplored the fact that tourists are visiting the mosque to see the
exhibition, even though it is supposed to be a place of worship, not a museum or
art gallery.
Al Aqsa Foundation had earlier rejected an Israeli court decision to turn the
mosque into a museum of Islamic and oriental heritage, and called for the
reopening of the building for Muslim worshippers.
Ethiopian invading terrorists cross into Somalia to fight the Mujahideen Hundreds of Ethiopian invading terrorists have crossed a border town in neighboring Somalia in order to fight al-Shabab Mujahideen, witnesses say. Capt. Hashi Nour of the Somali military confirmed that Somali and Ethiopian terrorists had moved in the town of Beletweyne on Saturday. Following the move, hundreds of Somali residents fled the border town, some 30 km (18 miles) into Somalia, local people said. Ethiopian invading forces were deployed in the Hiran region of Beletweyne in November. The movement appears to be a third front against al-Shabab. In October, Kenya dispatched its terrorists over its border into Somalia to pursue al-Shabab, which it accuses of being behind the kidnapping of several foreigners in its territory. Al-Shabab has denied any such involvement. Kenyan terrorists are currently fighting al-Shabab in Somalia's south.
Imperialism and the
“Anti-Imperialism of the Fools” One of the great
paradoxes of history are the claims of imperialist politicians to be engaged in
a great humanitarian crusade, a historic “civilizing mission” designed to
liberate nations and peoples, while practicing the most barbaric conquests,
destructive wars and large scale bloodletting of conquered people in historical
memory.
In the modern capitalist era, the ideologies of imperialist rulers vary over
time, from the early appeals to “the right” to wealth, power, colonies and
grandeur to later claims of a ‘civilizing mission’. More recently imperial
rulers have propagated, many diverse justifications adapted to specific
contexts, adversaries, circumstances and audiences. This essay will concentrate
on analyzing contemporary US imperial ideological arguments for legitimizing
wars and sanctions to sustain dominance.
Iran will be exporting $1 billion of electricity by March 2012 Pakistan’s minister of water and power says his country has signed an agreement with an Iranian private company to import 5,000 megawatts (MW) of electricity from Iran. Syed Naveed Qamar further added that according to the agreement, two power plants will be built near the Iranian city of Zahedan and in Gwadar region of Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The minister went on to say that Pakistan is currently having problems generating sufficient electricity due to the shortage of adequate resources for operating power plants, including low water reserves. The shortage may worsen as natural gas consumption and demand for energy continue to rise, he added. Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) has already announced that the country will need 15,500 MW of electricity this year, but can only generate 9,500 MW and is short of 6,000 MW of electricity. The minister said that the launch of the two new gas-fueled power plants will reduce electricity price in the country, adding that the imported electricity will be sent to all parts of Pakistan, including Balochistan province. Iran is currently exchanging electricity with Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Pakistan, Nakhichevan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
Oil Slick from Massive Spill in Nigeria Threatens Coastline, May Be Largest
Spill in a Decade Communities along Nigeria’s Niger Delta have
been put on alert following a major oil spill from the oil giant, Shell. The
massive oil slick is making its way to the Nigerian coast, threatening local
wildlife and massive pollution along the shore. Much of the available
information about the spill comes from the company responsible for it, Royal
Dutch Shell, which says less than 40,000 barrels have leaked so far. But
Nigeria’s National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency says the spill could
be three times as large. It comes just four months after the United Nations said
it would take 30 years and around $1 billion for a small section of the delta to
recover from environmental damage caused by Shell and other companies.

American Court OKs immunity for telecoms in wiretap case A federal appeals court has ruled as constitutional a law giving telecommunications companies legal immunity for helping the government with its email and telephone eavesdropping program. Thursday’s unanimous ruling by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a lower court decision regarding the 2008 law. The appeal concerned a case that consolidated 33 different lawsuits filed against various telecom companies, including AT&T, Sprint Nextel, Verizon Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp. on behalf of these companies’ customers.
US unveils new helicopter-like surveillance drone The US
terrorist Army will deploy a newly- developed helicopter-like unmanned drone in
Afghanistan with a wide-area surveillance sensor suite that could beam back
clearer images of the surrounding terrain. The army said the new Boeing-built
A160 Hummingbird promised American soldiers "an unprecedented capability to
track and monitor activity on the ground". Beginning in May or June of 2012, the
terrorist Army will deploy three A160 Hummingbird Vertical-Take-Off-and-Landing
Unmanned Aerial Systems, or VTOL-UAS, to Afghanistan as part of a Quick Reaction
Capability, said Lt. Col. Matthew Munster, product manager, UAS Modernisation.
"These aircraft will deploy for up to one full year as a way to harness lessons
learned and funnel them into a programme of record," Munster said in a
statement.
Army VTOL UAS programme developers and engineers were finishing up some wiring
work on the A160 aircraft and performing ground tests with the ARGUS sensor
suite. "The ARGUS sensor suite has never been flown on this platform before so
we have to make sure that the integration is complete. We are finishing that up
now and adding some different types of antennas. We begin flight testing of the
UAS at Yuma Proving Grounds, Arizona, early next year," Munster said. The VTOL
aircraft will give forward-positioned terrorist Army units the ability to deploy
a wide-area UAS Intelligence, Surveillance Reconnaissance, or ISR, asset without
needing access to a runway.

Government to government plan to seize control of all foods Shortly after “Dirty Harry” Reid passed the fake food safety bill in here in the US, with his one unanimous vote, C-36 passed two weeks later in Canada. Both bills were an outright attack on individual rights and property rights as both governments claim they now have the authority to unilaterally decide who can grow, process and sell foods and under what conditions. And, just as here in the US, those lawmakers responsible for this attack on liberty claimed they did so because that was what the public demanded and was begging for. Actually, in both countries just the opposite was true; the public was demanding that these bills not be passed. Dirty Harry claimed that more than 10,000 people had begged him to pass the bill while never mentioning that more than a million had objected. But in neither case was food safety and security the real intent of the legislation. Both the US and Canada were handing agricultural production in all its forms, over to international organizations and multi-national corporations.
Monsanto GMO Seeds Use to Further Expand Within US
While genetically modified foods are continually being banned in other
countries, the US is slow to follow the very necessary trend. The USDA has
chosen to step back and give Monsanto even more power over GMO seeds, and now
some states are taking similar action. A bill which could be passed in Lansing,
Michigan could make Michigan the 15th state to allow for the expansion of GMO
seed use, causing Michigan farms to be plagued with disease-riddled, genetically
modified crops.
Biofuels not food the biggest driver of ‘land grabbing’ deals, says report 'Land grab' report highlights growing interest from speculators in ‘flex’ crops like soya, palm oil and sugarcane that can be used for biofuels or food. The amount of land acquired for biofuels globally is far higher than previously thought, according to one of the most comprehensive assessments yet by the International Land Coalition (ILC). Biofuels are now the major driver for large-scale purchases of farmland or ‘land grabbing’ in the global south, with almost 53 per cent of the 71 million hectares cross-referenced in the report, being used for biofuels. In Africa, the impact of biofuels was even stronger with 66 per cent of land purchases used for biofuels. Food was next highest at 15 per cent.
Economists estimate a '30% to 40% chance of a break-up of the euro in
2012' A majority of economists put the possibility of a
eurozone break-up at 30-40 per cent in 2012, according to the results of a BBC
poll - and 20 per cent even state the eurozone will not exist in its current
17-member form next year.
Nearly all of those polled predicted that Europe would return to recession in
the new year as the continent struggles to get to grips with its debt crisis.
Most economists surveyed also expect UK interest rates to remain at historic
lows of 0.5 per cent throughout 2012 – the same level it has been since March
2009.
Escalating depression crisis is costing Britain £11bn a year A new study has revealed that the use of anti-depressants and sleeping pills is on the rise in Britain as the country grapples with an extensive economic crisis. New figures released by the National Health Service (NHS) information center show that high levels of depression are costing the UK almost £11 billion a year in lost earnings, in demands on the health service and in prescribing drugs to tackle the problem, British media reported. The figures also show that the use of anti-depressants and drugs to combat anxiety has risen by more than a quarter in the past three years, according to the reports. According to research by the House of Commons, people unable to work because of depression lose £8.97 billion of potential earnings per year. The loss of earnings from people who commit suicide is estimated at a further £1.47 billion, and the cost to the NHS of treating depression is put at more than £520 million a year, the research showed.
The NHS Information Centre has disclosed that 43.4
million prescriptions for antidepressants were dispensed in 2010-11, a rise of
28 percent over three years. The use of anti-anxiety medication rose by 8
percent over the same period, with Diazepam the most widely prescribed drug.
Sleeping pill prescriptions went up by 3 percent to 10.2 million, the centre
said. Across all these groups of drugs, there was a 20 percent rise in
prescription items, with the largest increases recorded in the East Midlands and
the North-east. The breakdown of the statistics suggested that women were nearly
four times more likely than men to approach their doctor with the problem.
Charities say the economic turmoil, increased job insecurity and mounting
unemployment have contributed to growing levels of depression over the past
three years. "For some people depression just happens, but for others it is
triggered by stressful events, for example losing a job, property or
bereavement. These uncertain economic times are linked to an increase in the
number of people with the illness", said Emer O'Neill, the chief executive of
the charity Depression Alliance.

The Prohibition On Making And Worshiping Statues In Al-Kitab
Bissmillah,
as Muslims we believe in the kitab
(scriptures) sent down by Allah, including one of which is
Al-Kitab Injeel (Gospels/Bible),
although we believe that the existing Injeel
has undergone changes by the accursed hands, there are still some verses
that are in tune with the teachings of Tawheed.
In the Bible, there are quite a number of Allah's prohibitions on making statues
and idols and the like, let alone to worship and prostrate before the statue or
idol. However, what we find, almost every house of the Christians are displaying
the statue of Jesus with his mother Mary and others.
Besides statues, pictures of Jesus and Mary can also be found almost for certain
on all Christians. And generally they are very respectful of the statuettes,
pictures or paintings of the face of Jesus and his mother Mary. Whereas, it is
very clear in the Bible that Allah forbids the making or the worshiping of
statues.
Afghan soldier shoots and kills 3 French invading terrorists, injures several more KAPISA, Dec. 29 – Ibrahim, who is reported to have joined the puppet army for specific purpose, achieved his aim by taking out 3 French invading terrorists and wounding a number of them after he had opened fire on a group of the French terrorists in Shamshad base in Tagab, Kapisa province on early Thursday morning at about 6:00 a.m. local time. . He was shot and martyred by the invaders in change of fire. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ) 'Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return'.
3 American terrorists killed by Afghan soldier FARAH, Dec. 28 – An Afghan soldier killed 3 American terrorists and wounded another 2 yesterday afternoon after a verbal argument with one of the invaders who was desecrating a mosque in Pusht Rod district’s Charmas village. Witnesses from the scene add that the soldier was later killed by the enemy troops. It should also be mentioned that 8 other American invaders were also killed in a similar incident 3 days earlier in the same district.
Islamic concept of legitimacy The way out of this mess is not to apply the failed Western model but to create a system based on the values of Islam. It is only then that Muslim societies can be truly liberated....Without Islam, no regime in the Muslim world can claim legitimacy regardless of the number of elections it holds. If the people desire a life of dignity and honour, they must continue to agitate and resist until they have established an Islamic system of governance.
India should be asked to probe missing persons case Srinagar, December 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has urged international human rights organisations and Indian civil society to exert pressure on India and the puppet administration to disclose the whereabouts of over 8000 Kashmiris who were subjected to enforced disappearance during the past 23 years. The APHC Chairman in a media interview in Srinagar, called for investigation into the disappearances and unmarked graves by an independent commission. Mirwaiz deplored that human rights violations had increased manifold in the occupied territory and the international community was acting as a spectator. APHC leader and National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan while addressing party workers in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the shifting of an illegally detained Kashmiri, Ghulam Qadir Butt to the Amphala Jail in the Indian state of Punjab from Kathua Jail in Jammu. The Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons staged a sit-in protest at Municipal Park in Srinagar. The demonstrators were carrying placards, banners and snaps of their missing relatives. On the other hand, Indian army and police in their stepped-up state terrorism launched a grand operation and arrested 50 innocent youth in the localities of Baramulla. An Indian trooper committed suicide by jumping before a moving train in Jammu bringing such toll among the personnel of Indian army and paramilitary forces in the occupied territory to 232 since January 2007.
Russia slams US for its human rights record Russia's
Foreign Ministry has attacked America's human rights record in its first report
on injustice elsewhere in the world, offering examples such as the Guantanamo
Bay prison and wrongful death row convictions to paint the U.S. as hypocritical
for lecturing other nations on the subject of rights.
Americans world number 1 thieves, stealing $1.8 billion of stuff in only 4 weeks Americans have shoplifted an outrageous USD 1.8 billion worth of goods during the four weeks leading up to Christmas, a 6 percent increase from 2010. This comes despite the fact that this year stores are offering big reductions because American people aren't spending as much as they used to. Though some Americans might suffer from kleptomania, the dismal economy is the reason behind this, driving Americans to buy less and steal more or at least giving them an excuse for doing so. A US report published earlier this month indicated that nearly 1 in 2 Americans have now fallen into poverty or are scraping by on earnings that classify them as low income. Based on the report by the US Census Bureau 49.1 million Americans live below the poverty line, meaning 146.4 million Americans, or 48 percent are considered low-income or poor. The US recession began in 2007. More than a year after the recession officially ended in 2009, the US unemployment rate remains above 9 percent, and the poverty rate rose to 15.3 percent in 2010 from 14.3 percent in 2009. The “incredibly unequal top-down distribution of wealth” in the US has formed an elite group who controls most aspects of the country's affluence, according to analysts. This has led to the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement which emerged on September 17 in the financial district of New York City to protest at a number of issues including the wars in the Middle East, US financial crisis, rising poverty, soaring unemployment, and high bonuses for Wall Street executives.
UK living standards face drastic drop
Full time workers across Britain have suffered a drastic
drop of 28 % in their living standards over the last four years, due to
“bankers' recession” and delayed economic recovery, study has revealed. A study
issued by GMB union, Britain's third largest union, showed that the Tory-led
government's economic strategies have failed to secure the country's financial
recovery, as the average fall for Britain is 5.9% and 6.2% for England when
income rises were compared to inflation. Hammersmith and Fulham in London faced
the highest figure of 28.6%, followed by Herefordshire with 22.7%, Bedfordshire
with 20.7% and Nottingham with 20.5%.
According to the study, the worst regional fall was in North West as its full
time workers have suffered 9.1% in the real value of their average gross
earnings between April 2007 and November 2011. South West workers faced the
second worst drop with a fall of 8%, followed by the West Midlands with a fall
of 7.6%, east of England with 7.3 % and Yorkshire and Humberside with 7.1%. Paul
Kenny, GMB General Secretary, stressed that the economic strategies proposed by
the Tories, was in tatters. Saying, “Full time workers in all regions in the UK
have seen the value of their earnings drop when they have a job. Things have got
a lot worse in the past year as the recovery underway at the time of the
election stalled and the UK is mired in a new recession.” “Two thirds of the
economy is consumer driven and Osborne must be the only person who does not get
it. Squeezing wages, pay freezes and cutting jobs will not restart the economy,”
he added.
Street Cams Can Now Tag, Track and Follow Individuals (video) The dystopian nightmare described in George Orwell’s novel 1984 took place in London, UK. This very city is today one of the most heavily monitored places in the world, using a record number of cameras and the most advanced surveillance technology to keep track of its citizens. Reuters now reports that the CCTV system of London has now the ability to tag specific people, track them across the entire system and even run a “search” on them for previous footage.
Pakistan defies US, honors Iran gas deal Islamabad has stepped
up work on its bilateral agreements with Tehran including the implementation of
a Pak-Iran gas pipeline project despite US threats. “Construction work on the
pipeline in Iranian area was completed. And on remaining portion that was to be
constructed in Pakistani area the survey has been completed. Pakistan is bearing
losses due to energy crises and it would go ahead with different options
including Iran,” The Nation quoted a Pakistani official as saying on Thursday.
The Pakistani source added Islamabad had not backed down from its trade
agreement with Iran. On December 19, high-ranking Islamabad diplomats said the
administration of Barack Obama is frustrated with the “rapid progress” of
Pakistan's gas project with Iran, and is exhausting all its resources to
sabotage the deal. “They (US officials) have gone to the extent of threatening
[Pakistan's] President [Asif Ali] Zardari of economic sanctions if work is not
stopped immediately,” the official said.
Zardari, however, reportedly dismissed the threats, bluntly asserting that the
commissioning of the project is vital and inevitable for the wellbeing of
Pakistan's “fast crumbling” economy. The USD 7.6 billion gas pipeline deal,
which was signed in June 2010, aims to export a daily amount of 21.5 million
cubic meters (or 8.7 billion cubic meters per year) of Iranian natural gas to
Pakistan. Iran and Pakistan finalized the details of the deal during bilateral
talks held in Tehran in October 2007. In addition to exporting gas to Turkey,
Armenia, and Pakistan, Iran is currently negotiating gas exports to Iraq.
U.S. Closing Down Its Logistics Through Pakistan After the U.S.
November 26 attack on a Pakistani border post that killed 26 Pakistani soldiers
the logistic line from Karachi into Afghanistan was shut down by Pakistani
authorities. It was expected that the line would be reopened after a few weeks.
But as the U.S. is not forthcoming with the apology Pakistan demands and even
partly blames Pakistan for the incident despite the fact that all the
miscommunication that led to it happened on the U.S. site, the chances to reopen
the line have dwindled.
Consequently the U.S. is now pulling out the equipment and wares currently stuck
on the transport route in Pakistan, as reported by the Express Tribune:
“It has been a month since the Nato attack which resulted in the port and border
closures with no resolution in sight, the US government intends to have all
import unit cargo that is currently staged at different Container Holding Yards
(CHYs) moved back to Karachi port or the nearest CHY to the port. Once we
receive approval, all unit cargo will be exported out of Pakistan,” wrote Anita
Rice, Chief of the OCCA SWA (595th Trans Brigade, NSA Bahrain) in an email to
all ‘concerned’ persons.
…
According to sources, US cargo, stranded in Pakistan, is worth millions of
dollars and US authorities have serious concerns over the safety of the cargo as
it includes hammer [sic] vehicles, dumpers, anti-aircraft guns, special carriers
of anti-aircraft guns, vehicles specially built to jam communications, cranes
and sophisticated weapons.“We will compile information for submission to
Pakistan customs for amendment for cargo export,” Rice said in her email,
providing US Lieutenant Colonel Jerome Heath’s contact number for further
assistance.
It will take several months to get all the stuff stuck in Pakistan back on ships
and even longer to reroute it through the Northern Distribution Network (NDN)
into Afghanistan. It will also cost a lot of money. Flying equipment into
Afghanistan costs about $14,000 per (short) ton. A 20″ container coming through
the NDN through Russia and Uzbekistan costs about $12,000, double the amount it
costs for the same container to be routed through Pakistan. Additionally there
is concern about the ability of the rail network in Uzbekistan, recently hit by
a mysterious explosion, to carry the additional load of what so far has come
through Pakistan as well as corruption and the U.S. denial of the abysmal human
rights record of the Karimov regime. Aside from that, current NDN agreements do
not allow for the transport of weapons and ammunition through the NDN and it is,
so far, a one way route that can not be used for the ongoing retreat from
Afghanistan. Obama’s decision to not apologize for the border incident, taken
out of fear of attacks from the domestic political right, will turn out to be
very expensive and will hinder future U.S. operations in Afghanistan for quite
some time. But the political impact of completely closing down the logistic line
through Pakistan might even be bigger. It removes another point of common
interest the U.S. and Pakistan have had.
‘US base in Bishkek very dangerous’ Kyrgyzstan’s President
Almazbek Atambayev has said that a US military base in the country’s capital
Bishkek is “very dangerous” for the Central Asian nation. Kyrgyzstan’s new
leader made the remarks in a Thursday meeting with visiting US Assistant
Secretary of State Robert Blake in the capital Bishkek. Atambayev insisted that
the annual $150 million fee the US pays Kyrgyzstan for the right to use the
Manas Air Force Base was not worth all the risks involved in the matter. “We
want to transform Manas into a fully civilian airport; and keeping a military
base for $150 million is slightly dangerous; not slightly, but very dangerous.”
After becoming the president last month, Atambayev said that his country has
notified the US to close its military base following the expiration of its lease
in 2014. “Our country will honor all its international agreements, but we have
warned the US embassy that they will have to close the base in 2014,” said
Atambayev.
The Manas Air Force Base, which the US currently uses to support its operations
in Afghanistan’s ten-year war, is located at a civilian airport on the outskirts
of the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek. The air base has been used since the US-led
invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 and has played a major role in American military
operations in the country. The Kyrgyz government wanted to shut down the base in
2009 due to issues caused by US troops stationed in Manas. However, US officials
managed to negotiate a new agreement later that year after increasing its annual
payment to the Kyrgyz government.

The importance of the Islamic Emirate at World level For the past 15 years, since the emergence of the Taliban Islamic Movement for the establishment of national unity and an Islamic regime, until the formation of the Islamic Emirate, the Emirate has shown through its recurrent sovereign actions that it is a movement being independent, Islamic , countrywide and domestic in nature. It feels the pains and grievance of the masses and struggles for the realization of their legitimate aspirations. Though the opposition of the Islamic Emirate has tried through their wicked propaganda to show that this pure movement has foreign affiliations and tried to mitigate its importance in the political and military fronts. But contrary to the claims of the opponents of the Islamic Emirate, it has been proved that the Islamic Emirate has sprouted up from among the people and flourish in their midst.
US invaders’ spy pane shot down in Paktika PAKTIKA, Dec. 27 - Mujahideen officials said Tuesday that a pilotless spy plane of the US invaders got shot down in the capital of Paktia province yesterday night. Military junta may replace KGB junta in Russia An Ukrainian political analyst Viktor Kalashnikov published on information portal Zahid an article with a warning of a danger of a military coup after the overthrow of Putin's KGB junta by Democratic forces. A few days ago, former Putin's adviser Illarionov, now living in Washington DC, also told an interview to a Russian radio station about a possibility of a military coup in Russia.
Jihad in Caucasus - one of reasons for fleeing of
Russians from Russia
David Satter, senior fellow at Hudson
Institute, in his article in The Wall Street Journal pointed out that the
prospect of Putin in power for another 12 years is one reason, according to a
recent poll from the Russian Public Opinion Research Center, that 22% of
Russians want to leave the country. Other reason is a rampant corruption.
Another reason is Jihad in the Caucasus. Putin promoted nostalgia for the Soviet
Union but failed to learn the lesson of its collapse, the author writes. Mass
protests in Moscow is a sign of the rebirth of political opposition. "The regime
of Putin will not fall overnight. But it is vulnerable, and Putin's goal of
being president for life is no longer assured", the article says.

Statement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Concerning the Condemnation of the 32nd Anniversary of the former Soviet Union Invasion of Afghanistan Thirty two years ago, on this day, the 6th of Jaddi, 1358 (AH anno hegirae) corresponding to 27th December, 1979, the former Soviet Union, in much the same way and for much the same reason as the present-day U.S, violating all human rights and ethics, invaded our country. Still, more than three decades after the former Red Army invasion of Afghanistan, the Afghan are suffering from the aftermath of the war and the impact of it appears to be seen largely in terms of destruction of our country and economic infrastructure. Millions of our countrymen were made homeless leaving their country to migrate to other countries.
India urged to release Kashmiri political prisoners Srinagar,
December 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC)
leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, has urged India to release all illegally detained
Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists. Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a statement issued
in Srinagar said that New Delhi had been resorting to the worst kind of state
terrorism in the occupied territory for last several decades to suppress just
liberation struggle of Kashmiri people. He said that, on one side, India claimed
to be the largest democracy of the world, but on the other, putting innocent
Kashmiris behind the bars. He maintained that permanent peace in the region was
impossible without an amicable settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He
said that Kashmiris had been struggling for securing their right to
self-determination guaranteed by the international community. The APHC leader
appealed to the world human rights organisations to play an effective role in
stopping atrocities on Kashmiris and releasing illegally detained Kashmiris.
How to Build Islamic Attitude, Knowledge and Skills? "Unfortunately, the same Islam that was responsible for founding the groundwork for Islamic Civilization, which was to initiate the European Renaissance, is now looked upon as a regressive force in today’s world....The Muslim world is now a backward nation that is behind every other nation in every human index. It has, sadly, become a society that is at ease with crimes and corruption. Most of its governments are corrupt. Worse yet, they are often repressive governments, which are at war with their own people. They have created a society of sycophants or clients, and not of meritocracy where competency rules. The end result is a Muslim world of zeros!"
Jewish terrorist settlers storm and defile Aqsa Mosque OCCUPIED
JERUSALEM -- Groups of Jewish terrorist settlers guarded by policemen desecrated
Monday morning the Aqsa Mosque and walked in its courtyards after they entered
through its Maghariba Gate. Senior Jewish rabbis had urged their supporters last
week to enter the Aqsa Mosque on the day of Hanukkah known as the festival of
lights to perform Talmudic rituals and dance for several days. Hundreds of
Jewish terrorist settlers last night marched provocatively across the streets of
the old city of Jerusalem chanting racist slurs against the Palestinians,
performing dances and beating drums in order to disturb the residents. They
chanted slogans inciting against the Palestinian natives and calling for killing
them or expelling them from the holy city.
Israeli terrorist FM: No Peace in Next Decade In a Christmas
press conference attended by a number of top ambassadors, Israeli terrorist
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman lashed those critical of Israel’s position on
the peace process, while insisting no peace could be achieved within the next
decade. “In the next decade, this will be the situation and we need to know how
to deal with it,” insisted Lieberman, saying that ambassadors should focus on
“managing” the conflict instead of trying to solve it. Terrorist Lieberman also
reiterated his condemnation of the European Union for criticizing settlement
expansion, saying that the only obstacle to peace with the Palestinians is the
Palestinians themselves and that construction would continue. Prime terrorist
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems to support the notion that the Israeli
government has abandoned the idea of peace, insisting that his government will
no longer negotiate with the Palestinians under any circumstances once they form
a unity government, something expected within the next few months.
New York to Host Israel's Top Drone Lab On December 19, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the establishment of a 2 million square foot engineering and applied sciences university campus in the heart of New York City. The New York-based Cornell University and the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology, were chosen to oversee the new institution.
Obama Year Three: Continuing His Rogue Agenda In 2011, Obama
continued the destructive pattern he followed in years one and two. Throughout
his tenure, he's done what supporters thought impossible.
Across the board on domestic and foreign issues, he governed to the right of
George Bush. He's waged multiple imperial wars, plans others, looted the
nation's wealth, wrecked the economy, consigned growing millions to
impoverishment without jobs, and institutionalized tyranny to target dissenters
challenging political corruption, corporate crooks, or abuse of power
lawlessness.
He also promotes regime change in Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Lebanon, and other
independent states. In addition, he targets Russia's military strength and
China's growing economic might. At the same time, he supports ruthless, corrupt
tyrants.
Moreover, he authorized indefinitely detaining anyone called a national security
threat without charge (including US citizens). He continues Bush's rendition and
torture policies, authorized killing US citizens abroad, (like Anwar Al-Awaki
for opposing America's belligerency), and deployed Special Forces death squads
covertly to 120 or more countries.
Notably, he destroyed hard won labor rights, wants education commodified and
made another business profit center, and wages war on whistleblowers,
dissenters, Muslims, Latino immigrants, and environmental and animal rights
activists called terrorists.
Throughout his tenure, he's governed lawlessly for the monied interests that own
him. He hasn't disappointed at the expense of core constituents and others
deserving better.

Pentagon asks for extra $100 million to Israel defense (and Congress doubles the
tip) “Thanks to this outstanding partnership and groundbreaking
proposal from Cornell and the Technion, New York City’s goal of becoming the
global leader in technological innovation is now within sight,” Bloomberg
proclaimed. “When people look back 100 years from now, I believe that they will
remember today as a signal moment in the transformation of the city’s economy,”
Deputy Mayor Robert K Steel declared.
Congress approved an additional $235 million in U.S. military
aid to Israel, Ynet reports. The U.S. allocates to Israel approximately $2.5
billion in aid, per year. The request, which boosts the total amount allocated
for 2012 to $25 million more than the last fiscal year (the 2011 budget was
$3.075 billion), came from the Pentagon in order to help Israel in “development
of safeguards against rockets and missiles that could be launched towards
Israel.”
Ynet reports: Pentagon officials were the ones who requested that Congress
approve a $106 million aid budget for Israel’s defense systems against missiles,
on top of the Iron Dome budget. Congress chose to nearly double that amount,
approving a budget of $235 million for 2012, amounting to $25 million more than
in 2011. Since 1949, Congress has distributed over $114 billion in U.S. aid to
Israel.
World’s Second And Third Largest Economies To Bypass Dollar, Engage In Direct Currency Trade Japan and China will promote direct trading of the yen and yuan without using dollars and will encourage the development of a market for companies involved in the exchanges, the Japanese government said. Japan will also apply to buy Chinese bonds next year, allowing the investment of renminbi that leaves China during the transactions, the Japanese government said in a statement after a meeting between Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in Beijing yesterday. Encouraging direct yen- yuan settlement should reduce currency risks and trading costs, the Japanese and Chinese governments said. China is Japan’s biggest trading partner with 26.5 trillion yen ($340 billion) in two-way transactions last year, from 9.2 trillion yen a decade earlier. The pacts between the world’s second- and third-largest economies mirror attempts by fund managers to diversify as the two-year-old European debt crisis keeps global financial markets volatile. “Given the huge size of the trade volume between Asia’s two biggest economies, this agreement is much more significant than any other pacts China has signed with other nations,” said Ren Xianfang, a Beijing-based economist with IHS Global Insight Ltd.
Something is rotten in the state of India It's a paradox of plenty. At a time when India ranks 67th among 81 countries in the 2011 Global Hunger Index prepared by the International Food Policy Research Institute, mountains of grain continue to rot in godowns while more recently, irate farmers spilled tonnes of potatoes on the streets in Punjab.
Disgusting, isn’t it? Well, the visuals of food rotting speak volumes of the criminal apathy, neglect and callousness with which we, as a nation, have failed to address the shameful scourge of hunger. For a country that has the dubious distinction of having the largest population of hungry in the world — close to 320 million — and with 42 percent of children officially clubbed as malnourished, the spectacle of massive quantities of food being allowed to go waste is an unpardonable crime. What is still worse is that hunger proliferates in a country that claims to be the world’s largest democracy.
Crush Labor and Impose Austerity: ECB Head Draghi’s Real Goal for the
Eurozone Imagine if your banker offered to lend you a
$150,000 to make up for the money that you’d lost on your home since the housing
bubble burst in 2006. And, let’s say, he agreed to lend you this money for 3
years at rock-bottom rates of 1 percent provided that you post the contents of
your garage (ie. rusty bikes, a bent basketball hoop, an old dollhouse, and
rodent-infested luggage) as collateral on the loan.
Would that seem like a good deal to you?
On Wednesday, the European Central Bank (ECB) made this very same offer to over
a hundred underwater banks in Europe, awarding them $640 billion (489 euros) in
dirt-cheap 3-year loans in exchange for all manner of dodgy collateral for which
there is currently no market. Now you, dear reader, know that when you try to
sell something on Craig’s List and there’s very little interest; you have to
drop the price in order to attract a buyer. That’s just how supply-demand
dynamics work in a free market, right?

The interval battle of Dayniile: Is it a new Badr or a modern Yamamah? We used to hear about the great battle of Badr that Allah differentiated with it between truth and falsehood and we used to the battle of Al-Qādisiyyah and Yarmouk, and we here today in the process of remembering days similar to those early days. The open Jihadi fronts between the lions of Tawhid and the dogs of the Satan are many and far for example: in the East lions are fighting the enemy and in the West knights are saying Takbir on the strongholds of the Kufr and the forts of Satan, and in the Al-Aqsa (mosque) there are men, and here in Somalia, were I’m talking to you, lions of Tawhid and the soldiers of Rahman continue to pluck the heads of the crusaders and the necks of people of polytheism, and have declared Wilayas similar to the state of Islam, if we didn’t say that they have declared the state of Islam through Somalia.
Origination of Christmas
Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, a week
long period of lawlessness celebrated between December 17-25. During this
period, Roman courts were closed, and Roman law dictated that no one could be
punished for damaging property or injuring people during the weeklong
celebration. The festival began when Roman authorities chose “an enemy of the
Roman people” to represent the “Lord of Misrule.” Each Roman community selected
a victim whom they forced to indulge in food and other physical pleasures
throughout the week. At the festival’s conclusion, December 25th, Roman
authorities believed they were destroying the forces of darkness by brutally
murdering this innocent man or woman.
The ancient Greek writer poet and historian Lucian (in his dialogue
entitled Saturnalia) describes the festival’s observance in his time. In
addition to human sacrifice, he mentions these customs: widespread intoxication;
going from house to house while singing naked; rape and other sexual license;
and consuming human-shaped biscuits (still produced in some English and most
German bakeries during the Christmas season).
In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival
hoping to take the pagan masses in with it. Christian leaders succeeded in
converting to Christianity large numbers of pagans by promising them that they
could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia as Christians.[2]
The problem was that there was nothing intrinsically Christian about
Saturnalia. To remedy this, these Christian leaders named Saturnalia’s
concluding day, December 25th, to be Jesus’ birthday.
Christians had little success, however, refining the practices of Saturnalia. As Stephen Nissenbaum, professor history at the University of Massachussetts, Amherst, writes, “In return for ensuring massive observance of the anniversary of the Savior’s birth by assigning it to this resonant date, the Church for its part tacitly agreed to allow the holiday to be celebrated more or less the way it had always been.” The earliest Christmas holidays were celebrated by drinking, sexual indulgence, singing naked in the streets (a precursor of modern caroling), etc.
The Few Among the Few at the Racially Classified Prison Called the CMU The communication management unit at Terre Haute, Indiana currently holds about thirty prisoners, twenty of whom are Muslims. These Muslims come from various parts of the world such as Yemen, Egypt , Pakistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, America and elsewhere. The differences in their cultural backgrounds naturally causes distinctions in their personalities, but they all have one thing in common, they all share the same faith and that is what has brought them all to this racially classifed unit where their communication within the prison as well as, with the outside world is highly restricted. Insha Allah after reading this essay the readers will get a first hand account of who these prisoners are, and since the day they were snatched from their loved ones how they were able to maintain their sanity. Perhaps, if the world gets to know these prisoners and prays for the, Allah will bring an immediate end to their ordeal. Indeed, Allah is able to do everything.
Until
recently, those prisoners who were not already awake to pray Tahajjud prayer in
the last part of the night would wake up hearing the adhaan given by John
Walker-Lindh, commonly known as Yayha, but most of the Muslims here at CMU Terry
Haute are already up for Tahajjud prayer prior to the adhaan, and can be heard
reciting the Qur’an by those celled next to them.
Recently, Yayha was stopped from giving the adhaan and relieved an incident
report for disrupting an early morning count by “putting his hands on his ears
and screaming in a foreign language.” Since then, Yahya has stopped giving the
adhaan loudly, but the Muslims still wake up for tahajjud and can still be heard
reciting the Qur’an.
Yahya- a 29 year old American – has no time to waste. Like many others housed in
the CMU who have memorized the Qur’an by heart, Yahya recites the entire Quran
once a week. His whole life revolves around reading, writing, praying, and
working out in his cell. His Muslim brothers know he is busy so they don’t
hesitate to cook for him in order make sure he eats well. Don’t let Yahya’s calm
and humble demeanor fool you. Yayha can be so funny that his jokes cause people
to laugh until they roll on the ground.
London starts comprehensive investigation into Russia's nuclear terrorist attack on Britain A coroner in London, who is leading the inquiry into the murder of a former Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko, has published a statement on his intention to conduct a full and comprehensive investigation of all the circumstances of this murder with the assistance of witnesses and classified materials from Metropolitan Police, reported the U.S. Congress propaganda radio RFE-Rl.
Russians to hold nationwide protests Tens of thousands of Russians plan to stage massive nationwide protests against the allegedly fraudulent parliamentary elections held earlier this month. People are expected to gather together across the country on Saturday to demand new parliamentary elections, and to protest what they describe as vote rigging in the December 4 parliamentary elections. Some prominent figures, including the Soviet Union's last leader Mikhail Gorbachev, are expected to attend the rally. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's ruling party, United Russia, won nearly 50 percent of the vote, but saw a reduction in support as it lost a quarter of its seats in parliament. "The votes were crudely and cynically stolen from voters and given to United Russia," said Member of Parliament Artyom Samsonov. Dmitry Medvedev is reportedly due to become prime minister under a prospective Putin presidency in March 2012 -- a job swap bitterly criticized by the opposition. Earlier this month, tens of thousands of demonstrators rallied in nationwide protests dubbed “For Fair Elections.” At least 50,000 law enforcement officers and riot police were deployed and hundreds of protesters were arrested.
Fresh protests hit Moroccan cities
Moroccan protesters have once again staged rallies in several major cities of
the North African country, demanding greater political reforms and social
justice. The demonstrators on Friday called on the government to create jobs and
put an end to corruption. February 20 movement, named after the date
demonstrations, inspired by revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, broke out in
Morocco, has staged weekly demonstrations to call on King Mohammed VI to curb
his powers. In January, the 47-year-old monarch announced constitutional reforms
to calm the protests. According to the changes, he gave some of his powers to
the parliament and the executive branch but the military and religious fields
remained under his full control. Despite the amendments, protesters have kept
coming to streets to demand “real” reforms, calling the announced changes
“window-dressing.” Protesters also describe the recent elections held on
November 25 “undemocratic,” saying the vote only support the country's corrupt
system.
UN to Israel: Compensate Lebanon
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has issued a draft resolution, once
again calling on the Israeli regime to compensate Lebanon for the damages it
caused the country during the July-August 2006 war. On Thursday, the UNGA issued
a statement from its headquarters in New York, highlighting the wartime
destruction, which, it said, had caused Lebanon’s worst-ever environmental
disaster. It said Israeli warplanes had repeatedly bombed the Jiyye power plant
in south Lebanon, which resulted in the leakage of more than 10,000 tons of
heavy fuel oil, causing much damage to Lebanon and other states. It said that
the Israeli regime had to take responsibility for providing ‘prompt and adequate
compensation’ to Lebanon and the other countries directly affected by the oil
spill. The 33-Day War also killed about 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilians. 165
countries voted in favor of the draft resolution, eight, including Israel, the
US, Canada, and Australia, voted against, six abstained, while 14 nations were
absent. Washington has invariably stonewalled the actions taken through the UN
against Tel Aviv.
'CIA halts drone raids on Pakistan'
The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has halted its assassination drone
attacks on Pakistan's tribal regions in an effort to mend fences with the Asian
ally, a report says. The undeclared suspension of the CIA attacks is aimed at
improving the strained relations with Islamabad after recent US-led NATO
airstrikes on two Pakistani military border checkpoints in Mohmand agency killed
24 Pakistani soldiers. The United States conducted a joint investigation with
the NATO military alliance, claiming that a disastrous spate of errors and
botched communications led to the incident. Pakistan, however, rejected the
results of the probe. The strikes prompted the Pakistani officials to close the
border crossings that the Western military alliance uses to transfer fuel and
other supplies for foreign forces in Afghanistan.
The decision to suspend the drone attacks also comes amid intensifying debates
in the Obama administration over the future of the CIA's covert drone war in
Pakistan, the paper said. This is while, some officials in the State Department
and the National Security Council have described the drone strikes as
counterproductive, saying the ordinary militants are easy to replace, the report
added. Some US intelligence officials are urging the CIA to cut back the
paramilitary role it has assumed since the September 11, 2001 to refocus on
espionage. They suggest handing the mission to the Pentagon's Joint Special
Operations Command, which flies its own drones and conducts secret
counter-terrorism operations in Yemen and Somalia. The US aerial attacks,
initiated by former US President George W. Bush, have escalated under President
Barack Obama.
Relations between Islamabad and Washington have soured over the unauthorized
attacks, with Pakistan insisting that the airstrikes violate its sovereignty.
Following the US-led NATO attack in Pakistan's Mohmand region, Islamabad warned
that it will shoot down any American assassination drone intruding its airspace.
While the US government has always declined to publicly discuss its aerial
attacks in Pakistan, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta admitted on October 11
that the US is fighting a war in Pakistan, using drones.
Bank Of America Dumps $75 Trillion In Derivatives On U.S. Taxpayers With Federal
Approval Bloomberg reports that Bank of America (BAC) has
shifted about $22 trillion worth of derivative obligations from Merrill Lynch
and the BAC holding company to the FDIC insured retail deposit division. Along
with this information came the revelation that the FDIC insured unit was already
stuffed with $53 trillion worth of these potentially toxic obligations, making a
total of $75 trillion. Derivatives are highly volatile financial instruments
that are occasionally used to hedge risk, but mostly used for speculation. They
are bets upon the value of stocks, bonds, mortgages, other loans, currencies,
commodities, volatility of financial indexes, and even weather changes.
CIA defends helping NYPD spy on Muslims The United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) says it has not broken any laws in helping the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to spy on American Muslims. The CIA said on Friday that its inspector general had found that no laws had been broken and there had been “no evidence that any part of the agency’s support to the NYPD constituted domestic spying.” An investigation carried out by the Associated Press has found that, after the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, the NYPD dispatched undercover officers, known as ‘rakers,’ into minority neighborhoods as part of a human mapping program, using ‘unprecedented’ help from the CIA. This is while the CIA is banned from spying on the US citizens. The investigation showed that the ‘rakers’ have gathered information on the citizens’ ‘daily life in bookstores, bars, cafes, and nightclubs.’ The report added that the NYPD has employed intelligence agents, known as ‘mosque crawlers,’ to spy on Muslims and “monitor sermons, even when there’s no evidence of wrongdoing.” The revelations forced the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), James R. Clapper to admit that it did not look good for the CIA to be involved with any city police department.
Genetically Modified Mosquitoes to be Released in the US for the First Time To those of you who have been eager to hear the latest news concerning the potential release of genetically modified mosquitoes – here it is. It turns out that the genetically modified mosquitoes could be released into the U.S. environment as early as January of 2012. A private firm plans to initiate the release of the GE mosquitoes in the Florida Keys. Florida will be the first beta testing grounds to determine whether or not the mosquitoes lead to detrimental environmental and genetic impact. Residents in this area will also be subjected — without choice — to these genetically manipulated insects, unless the private firm decides to seek permission.
Studies show junk foods change brain chemistry and are addictive like cocaine
Is gorging on a bag of nacho cheese-flavored corn chips, for
instance, the same as snorting a line of cocaine? A number of scientific
studies, many of which were conducted within the past year, have found that junk
food addiction is essentially the same as cocaine addiction, at least as far as
the brain is concerned.

EU's Ashton accused of dysfunction As dissatisfaction grows over the performance of EU's foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, a number of bloc's member states have accused her of basic failings and dysfunction. "We would like to offer some suggestions on how the functioning of the service could be further improved," said a confidential letter, dated December 8 and signed by foreign ministers of France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. "Ways to further optimize the identification of political priorities should be explored. The EEAS (European External Action Service) could be tasked more regularly to produce preparatory policy and/or decision-making papers to be circulated sufficiently in advance of meetings," the letter added. The critical evaluation of Ashton's performance, who also the post of EEAS' High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, coincides with the second anniversary of the EEAS which was launched on December 1st, 2009. Europe has for months grappled with an economic and financial crisis. Insolvency now threatens heavily debt-ridden countries such as Greece, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Spain. There are fears that more delays in resolving the eurozone debt crisis could push not only Europe, but also much of the rest of the Western world back into recession.

The Daleels On The Haram Ruling Of Celebrating The A.D. New Year The A.D. new year in our time is celebrated in a grand scale. Sounds of trumpet and fireworks displays emblazon almost all parts of the world in the West, as well as in the East. It is no different whether the majority of the population are kafir or Muslim. Whereas, the celebration is synonymous with festive days of the Christians. Many batil beliefs exist on new year's eve. Among others are, whoever drinks the last glass of wine from the bottle after midnight, he will earn good luck. If he is a bachelor, he will be the first person to find a soul mate from among his friends on that night. Other beliefs are, entering the house on the eve of the new year without bringing gifts is a form of misfortune, washing clothes and eating utensils that day is also a sign of misfortune, letting the fire burning all night of the new year will bring a lot of luck, and many other forms of superstitions. Indeed, those batil beliefs were adopted from the batil beliefs of Christianity. Where the truth is, adopting and imitating these batil beliefs is haram. Because whoever practices tashabbuh (resembling/imitating) on a people, then he is one of them.
The Guidelines On Addressing Christmas The Christian people, the practitioners of Christmas in truth are rebelling against God & violating the contents of Bible/Gospel/Injeel. The fact that “Christmas” is not mentioned in the Bible shows that Christmas is a made-up thing, disloyalty to God (Deuteronomy 4:2 , 12:32). Christmas is only a human dictation, not a command of God, involving vain deeds (Matthew 15:8-9). What's certain, Christmas is not the will of the Father so the perpetrators do not enter Heaven ( Matthew 7:21). Despite rebelling against God & violating the Bible, Christmas still goes ahead… in the course of the Christianization mission, the Christians are striving so that Muslims are joining them in the Christmas celebration. The campaign and misguided ideology of Pluralism adds to the widening of the expressway of the Christian mission against the people of Islam.
My second visit to the provinces of Abyan and Shabwa This is the second time that I visit the provinces of Abyan and Shabwa in less than three months, for almost the same reasons: the situation that some of the media is trying to portray, when the image in these two provinces is totally different and almost at the various levels, but rather it has nothing to do with that image, especially in the province of Abyan or its capital the city of Zinjibar as an area of continuous battles. There wasn’t anything new that strongly draws attention like the increase of the numbers of those who go to jihad for the sake of Allah, as the commanders in the organization say, especially after signing the Gulf Cooperation Council initiative which many who came to Abyan saw in it as a treachery to the blood of the martyrs and a response to the dictation of abroad.
My Husband, Conduct Jihad In Allah's
Cause!
To be a man, the duties are not light. And we, i.e. your
wife and your children, understand this. On one hand, you struggle to work for a
living, for the maintenance and whatever is best for us, to the extent that you
forgot to take care of yourself. On the other hand, you also have to condition
your self and your heart for your own interests, in addition to the fulfillment
of your duties to Allah. Maybe it is hard for you to choose, or give precedence
to which is more of a priority.
O my husband, please do not hesitate! Prioritize the interests of Allah over
ours. And, insha Allah, we will be
patient. Especially when the call of jihad is calling you, never you doubt
again. Lighten your steps, and depart!
You are our hero. The exemplary leader of our family, so do not fear or worry
when you are leaving us. I will be your faithful assistant, who will take care
of the children and myself. Don't let the honour of our Muslim brothers be torn
apart. Don't let the Kuffaar harass
Islam, our honour.
Do not let the worldly affairs burden you, let alone if they bind you heart to
remain here. Please depart!! As for us whom you leave behind… my husband, you
still have me. And we both have Allah, Who will always protect us. Please have a
full trust on that.
The affairs of this world, insha Allah,
do not worry us. And if instead you only remain here in silence and with a light
heart letting the oppression of our brothers and sisters, then how can I lift up
my face, while Allah is not pleased with you?

Officials from the area say that the enemy bases were heavily damaged by the attacks with their watchtowers completely destroyed in the attacks which lasted till around dusk time. Officials add that none of the enemy troops came out of their bases during the attack nor did any arrive for reinforcement whereas there are plans for more such attacks to be carried out in the near future.
Europe’s
Islamic future Islam
is on its way to become the most practiced religion in Europe. In a new book
published by the University of Leuven, “The Iris and the Crescent,” sociologist
Felice Dassetto says that Muslims will comprise the majority of the population
of Brussels by 2030. The title of the book refers to the yellow flower symbol of
Brussels’ region and to the Islamic emblem: While the first is decaying, the
second is growing. Muslims now make up one-quarter of the population of the
capital of the enlightened Europe and they are asking to use the empty churches
for Islamic prayers. Since 2008, the top seven baby boys’ names in Brussels were
Mohammed, Adam, Rayan, Ayoub, Mehdi, Amine and Hamza. Mohammed is also the most
popular name for baby boys in Belgium’s second-largest city, Antwerp, where an
estimated 40% of elementary school children are Muslim. Antwerp is also home to
Belgium’s first Islamic Sharia law court, which began operating in September.
According to a recent report of the US Pew Center, Islam is already “the
fastest-growing religion in Europe,” where the number of Muslims has tripled
over the past 30 years. One third of all European children will be born to
Muslim families by 2025. Islam is the most practiced religion in the United
Kingdom. In London, more Muslims attend mosques on Friday than do Christians
churches on Sunday. The Oude Kerk, the oldest church in the city of Amsterdam,
where the kings of Holland were crowned, is now a museum. The only “church” in
the largest Dutch city that is crowded is the church of Scientology, a six-story
building in the thick of the city center. Only 7% of Dutch Catholics now go to
Sunday Mass and 16% of children are baptized. In Austria, which was 90% Catholic
in the 20th Century, Islam will be the majority religion among Austrians aged
under 15 by 2050. The French case also shows that the often exaggerated
“Eurabia” threat is more a quality phenomenon of religious attendance than of
demographic takeover. In France, there are now more Islamic mosques being build
– and more frequently so – than Catholic churches, and there are more practicing
Muslims than practicing Catholics in the country.
Overall, the total number of mosques in France has already doubled to more than
2,000 in the last 10 years. The best known French Islamic leader, Dalil
Boubakeur, Rector of the Great Mosque of Paris, recently suggested that the
total number of mosques should double yet again, to 4,000, to meet the growing
demand. Meanwhile, the Catholic Church in France had only 20 new churches built
in the last 10 years, and formally closed more than 60 churches, many of which
became mosques, according to research conducted by the French Catholic daily La
Croix. Princeton University’s Bernard Lewis once told the German daily Die Welt
that “Europe will be Islamic by the end of the century.” At the time, Brussels’
political and cultural elites expressed outrage at the alarmist prediction. Yet
if the current trends persist, Mr. Lewis may yet be proven right.
Somalia next UK's oil war target? Britain is apparently
preparing its troops for the next oil war in Africa after Prime Minister
considered Somalia as a “failed state” that has been threatening Britain's
interests and security. As the British government considered Libya's regime
change as a victory of the Nato forces, it is now looking for its next
humanitarian intervention in oil-rich states in the Middle East and Africa.
International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell once again painted Somalia
as the hotbed of terrorism and described the East African country as “a very
direct threat to the security of the United Kingdom," concluding "It's right
that we should deepen our involvement” in the crisis hit country as it is the
most “dysfunctional” in the world. Seemingly a poor country which has always
been struggling with civil wars and natural disasters such as flood and famine,
Somalia has immense oil and gas reserves and some other natural resources like
Uranium, iron and zinc. According to World Bank reports, Somalia is the second
African country with vast unexploited oil reserves, Puntland Province alone is
able to produce between 5 and 10 billion barrels of oil.
Meanwhile analysts believe that as the western oil companies planning to start
exploration in some of the regions, the politicians will use the pretext of
fighting terrorism to impose war to secure more drillings all over the country.
Furthermore, UK's state run TV, BBC, has been reporting that terrorism and the
current militants are the underlying causes of the humanitarian crisis.
Picturing people struggling for life and showing militants as the enemy, the
media is now paving the way for military intervention in the country to protect
Somalia's civilians. Britain promised to use the London Conference on Somalia,
announced last month by David Cameron, to introduce fresh steps to fight
terrorism in the war-torn country. Envoys from Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda
and the United States are to attend the conference to deliver “a new
international approach to Somalia," the Foreign Office said in a statement. "It
will form the basis for coordinated and sustained international leadership on
Somalia, bringing together international partners," it added. As the drums are
echoing around Somalia, the analysts stress that it would be the next front line
for the western allies to install a pro-western government and officials.
UK flexes nuclear muscles against Argentina Britain has once
more resorted to threats of using nuclear weapons on non-nuclear armed states in
a bid to intimidate members of the Mercosur bloc. After Mercosur members,
including Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, decided to ban British-flagged
military vessels from using their ports, the former head of Britain’s Royal Navy
said the British government should send a nuclear submarine to the
British-occupied Las Malvinas (the Falklands). The archipelago is located about
250 nautical miles from Argentina, which has been pursuing its rightful claim on
sovereignty over the islands for over thirty years.
Argentina has accused the British government of violating international laws
saying the UK’s oil-drilling operation is a clear instance of infringement on
international laws. “Malvinas is not an Argentine cause, it’s a global cause
because they are taking our fisheries and oil resources,” said Argentine
president Cristina Fernandez. Furthermore, Uruguay president Jose Mujica
considered solidarity among South America’s neighbors as the most significant
issue concerning his country’s foreign policy. “For the moment, this means
accepting that this territory is a colonial British position in our America,”
said Mujica.
In response to the South American countries’ solidarity, the British government
decided to flex its nuclear muscles threatening to use nuclear weapons against
non-nuclear states. This is not the first time that the British government
proposes the use of nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear country. In 2002,
former British defence secretary Geoff Hoon announced that the British
government was ready to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states such as
Iraq. British government’s boast of its nuclear arsenal unveils its hypocritical
nature as it is bent on curtailing non-nuclear states’ energy programs while
remaining a staunch advocate of other nuclear armed states including Israel.
'Iraq war, US' biggest military mistake' A leading US defense
analyst has described the Iraq war as the “biggest mistake” in the history of
the US military as the last patch of American troops withdraws from Baghdad. The
Iraq war and the subsequent occupation may ultimately come to be regarded as
even a bigger mistake than the Vietnam war was, says an article by defense
industry analyst Loren Thompson, published by Forbes . It also says the war
failed to garner domestic support, which led to a “stark defeat” of American
strategy in the country. Referring to the West's false allegations of Baghdad
possessing weapons of mass destruction (WMD) as a pretext for the war, the
article said that the WMDs did not exist and were an illusion. “We soon
determined that another big reason for going [to war with Iraq], the supposed
presence of Al Qaeda elements, was largely imaginary,” Thompson said.
He further described as ridiculous the former US President George W. Bush's
stated objective to make way for the first “real democracy” in the Arab world.
Thompson added that the American troops departing Iraq are not going any farther
away than neighboring Kuwait. He pointed out that Washington is likely to keep
an extensive military presence nearby to ensure that Iraqi's Prime Minister
Nouri al-Maliki has the “ability to control Iraq's many political factions.”
Thompson said the Pentagon has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on new
technology, training and tactics for fighting insurgence. However, insurgents in
Iraq, he noted, succeeded in pushing “America's vast military machine to the
verge of defeat.”
Congress Cuts Winter Heating Aid For The Poor While Boosting The Defense
Budget Poverty in America is only getting worse, with data
showing rising income inequality and the startling fact that half of all
Americans are now either in poverty or considered low-income. Were it not for
the government programs that comprise the social safety net, those numbers would
be even worse. More than a quarter would live in poverty without the safety net,
according to one study, and Social Security alone kept 14 million out of poverty
last year. Despite that, Congress — and particularly Republicans in Congress —
have made cuts to various programs meant to aid the poorest Americans.
Congress reached a deal Thursday to avert a shutdown that would have begun at
midnight tonight, and in doing so, Republicans found another low-income program
to target, cutting funding for subsidies that help the poor stay warm during the
winter by nearly 25 percent. At the same time, however, the Pentagon’s budget is
getting a 1 percent boost, as the Associated Press noted:
Highlights of the $1 trillion-plus 2012 spending legislation in Congress:
—$518 billion for the Pentagon’s core budget, a 1 percent boost, excluding
military operations overseas. [...]
—$3.5 billion for low-income heating and utility subsidies, a cut of about 25
percent.
RUSSIAN SPRING. Putin builds four lines of defense "Kipling might have been flattered to learn that one of his most avid readers was Vladimir Putin", the newspaper writes. "Of all the Jungle Book characters Putin could have picked to project himself as the voice of reason during a live, nationally televised 4½-hour phone-in - Baloo, Bagheera, even the man-cub Mowgli - the 30ft python Kaa was not he", indicates the newspaper. And the monkeys? It was obvious who they were - the tens of thousands of Russians who were stupid or venal enough (some had been paid by outside governments, Putin claimed) to protest against a clumsily rigged election".
Kashmir liberation movement is indigenous Srinagar, December 23
(KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik
has said that perpetration of atrocities by heavily deployed Indian troops
against the people striving for their inalienable right to self-determination
has become order of the day in occupied Kashmir. Addressing a public gathering
in Tral, today, the JKLF Chairman emphasised that the Kashmir liberation
movement was indigenous and statements of the Indian army officers about
presence of foreign militants in the territory were absolutely baseless.
Speaking at a rally in Gandarbal, senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah urged
India to stop arrest and harassment of the Kashmiri people and resolve the
Kashmir dispute without any further delay. The participants of the rally chanted
‘go India go’ slogans during the rally. At a seminar organised in Udhampur, top
Indian military commanders clashed with leading Indian human rights activists
who said that Indian army and paramilitary forces were involved in massive human
rights violations in the occupied territory. The human rights activists cited
several incidents, which angered the Indian generals present in the seminar. The
veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali was placed under house arrest by the
occupation authorities and was not allowed to offer Friday prayers, today. In a
statement, Syed Ali Gilani underlined the need for unity among the people of
Kashmir to take the liberation struggle to its logical conclusion. The Chairman
of Kashmir Centre Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement
welcomed the growing Pak-India diplomatic relations and expressed hope that the
two countries would make sincere efforts to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
India targeting Kashmir’s social fabric: Gilani Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the Government of India was trying to damage the social fabric in occupied Kashmir. Syed Ali Gilani in a media interview in Srinagar said that New Delhi had devised long-term and short-term policies to damage the social fabric of the Kashmiri society. “They are trying to change our culture, tradition and beliefs by employing different tactics.” Expressing concern over spurt in unethical and wayward acts, the veteran leader said that India was promoting the spread of social evils in the Valley. “This is a part of a planned conspiracy to mutilate the Muslim identity of Kashmir. And waywardness is being promoted in our colleges and universities in the name of cultural programs,” he said. Gilani added that religious leaders and media should come forward to counter this cultural aggression.

Erdogan: France Committed Genocide in Algeria It seems that
relations between Turkey and France have deteriorated over a newly-voted bill
criminalizing the denial of Armenian genocide. As the Turkish envoy in France
left Paris on Friday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused his country’s
new rival of committing “genocide” in Algeria. “France massacred an estimated 15
percent of the Algerian population starting from 1945. This is genocide,”
Erdogan told a news conference after the French move on a massacre of Armenians
by Ottoman-era forces. The Turkish premier accused French President Nicolas
Sarkozy of “fanning hatred between Muslims and Turks for electoral gains.” Also
on Friday, the Turkish envoy in France had left Paris in protest of the new
French law.
France is home to around 500,000 citizens of Armenian descent and they are seen
as a key source of support for Sarkozy and his UMP ahead of presidential and
legislative elections in April and June next year. Paris appeared to have been
caught out by the fury of Turkey’s response. “I respect the views of our Turkish
friends — it’s a great country, a great civilisation — and they must respect
ours,” Sarkozy said in Prague where he was at the funeral of late Czech
president Vaclav Havel. On Thursday, France’s National Assembly voted the first
step towards passing a law that would impose a jail term and a 45,000 euro fine
on anyone in France who denies that the 1915 massacre of Armenians constitutes
genocide. France’s Foreign Minister Alain Juppe called on Turkey not to
“overreact” to a bill that he insisted was a parliamentary initiative, and not a
project of Sarkozy’s government.
US Judge Dismisses Lawsuit for Tortured Gitmo Detainee A U.S.
judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit by a former Guantanamo detainee seeking
damages for torture and abuse he suffered while in U.S. custody. Abdul Rahim
Abdul Razak al Janko, a Syrian national, was captured in 2002 and was released
in 2009 after finally being granted the right to challenge his detention. The
U.S. government’s contention in that case was that Janko had been a member of al
Qaeda in Afghanistan. Judge Richard Leon threw out his most recent lawsuit
seeking recompense, on the grounds that the U.S. Military Commissions Act passed
by Congress stripped the federal courts of jurisdiction over any allegations by
foreigners of detention, treatment, or conditions of confinement.
Janko claims he was exposed to various forms of physical and psychological
torture, including being urinated on, being deprived of sleep for long periods,
harsh interrogations and severe beatings. H tried to commit suicide 17 times and
ended up suing several members of the Bush and Obama administrations last year
for overseeing his detention and treatment. Incidentally, Judge Leon is the one
that granted Janko his release in 2009, but he faced considerable pressure
throughout this most recent case. The Obama administration urged the lawsuit be
dismissed on various procedural grounds, including that the court lacked
jurisdiction and that the U.S. government is immune from such claims.
December 22, 2011
Remarks of spokesman of Islamic Emirate regarding the supposed surrender of 50 Mujahideen On Tuesday the 20th of December 2011, the media once again reported the re-integration of 50 Taliban fighters with the Kabul regime in Panjwai district of Kandahar province through the mouthpiece of the stooge officials under the theatrical process of peace and reconciliation. The head of this group who introduced himself as Haji Mu’alim to the press baselessly claimed that his men were active in Kandahar city, Panjwai and Maiwand districts. We must say regarding this fallacious claim that it is nothing more then a part of the failed propaganda which is regularly disseminated by the moral lacking enemy which we must categorically repudiate. The person (Haji Mu’alim) who ties himself to the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate is an absolute fraud.
Probe finds US mistakes in deadly Pakistan airstrike A U.S.
military investigation has found American and Afghan commandos wrongly concluded
there were no Pakistani forces in a border area where an airstrike killed 24
Pakistani troops last month, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
The investigation, due to be presented to U.S. defense officials on Friday,
acknowledges significant U.S. responsibility for the November 26 airstrike that
deepened mistrust between the United States and Pakistan, the Journal said,
citing unidentified U.S. officials familiar with the report.
The U.S. military report conflicts with early U.S. accounts that said Pakistanis
gave an all-clear before what would become the most deadly friendly-fire
accident of the war, the newspaper said. The military investigation finds that
U.S. forces provided inaccurate information to Pakistani troops in region after
the strike, according to the Journal. Pakistan has sought a full apology from
President Barack Obama for the strikes, while U.S. officials have maintained the
November 26 incident was a regrettable mistake. The strike incensed the
Pakistanis who demanded the United States leave the Shamsi Airbase, where the
U.S. drones were flown from. After a 15-day deadline on December 11, the U.S.
left the airbase.
The Shamsi Airbase has been the source of CIA drone strikes across Pakistan's
Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The Guardian on December 11, 2009, quoted
an unnamed ex-U.S. official as saying that Blackwater was operating at a secret
CIA airbase, Shamsi Airbase in Baluchistan which is a key element in the CIA
coordinated missile strikes. Washington has not publicly acknowledged operations
at the base, but images said to be of U.S. Predator drones at Shamsi have been
published by Google Earth in the past. The United States claims its drone
attacks target militants, while most of the causalities are civilians. According
to Pakistani sources, U.S. drone strikes kill some 50 civilians for every
militant killed, a hit rate of 2 percent.
Un-Patriotic? Secret US missile cargo bound for S. Korea busted
A ship heading to South Korea and China from Germany has been impounded
in a Finnish port after a shipment of dozens of American Patriot anti-aircraft
missiles and explosives was found aboard. On board the British bulk carrier Thor
Liberty, Finnish customs found 69 surface-to-air Patriot missiles and 160 tons
of picrite explosives, being carried under the guise of fireworks. The ship was
detained on December 15 but the news of its volatile contents only leaked on
Wednesday. The shipment was believed to be en route to South Korea. The
consignee of the explosive cargo is a private individual.
'CIA uses database to keep control on Iraq population' Political activist Dahlia Wasfi believes a database collected by the U.S. during eight years of war in Iraq will be used continuously by CIA “to maintain a control on Iraq population”. U.S. Central Command, the military command responsible for troops in the Mideast and South Asia, has confirmed that a database, packed with retinal scans, thumb prints and other biometric data identifying millions of Iraqis, compiled by U.S. troops over the course of years, will remain U.S. property. “I am sure that they will continue to use the technology in Iraq, in Afghanistan and then possibly here at home as well,” Wasfi told reporters on Thursday. She said, “The United States is in violation of so many domestic and international laws.” For example in the U.S., she said that “the National Security Agency, in violation of Americans Civil Liberty, has been spying on Americans”.
Do Private Military Contractors Have Impunity to Torture?
Think about what it would mean for private military contractors to be immune
from any type of civil liability, even for war crimes, as long as it takes place
on a so-called battlefield during this time of unprecedented use of contracting
and when the term “battlefield” is being stretched to meaninglessness in the
ever-expanding U.S. War on Terror. Anyone and everywhere could be a target. That
is what is at stake here.
Torture in India 2011: 14,231 custodial deaths from 2001 to 2010 Torture in India 2011 which is only online states that a total of 14,231 persons i.e. more than four persons per day died in police and judicial custody in India from 2001 to 2010. This includes 1,504 deaths in police custody and 12,727 deaths in judicial custody during the year 2001-2002 to February 2010. A large majority of these deaths are a direct consequence of torture in custody. But these no way reflect the extent of torture in India. These deaths as reported to the NHRC reflect only a fraction of the menace of torture and custodial deaths in India. All the cases of deaths in police and prison custody are not reported to the NHRC. Further, the NHRC does not have jurisdiction over the armed forces and NHRC does not record statistics of torture not resulting into death. Despite such widepsread use of torture, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India failed to introduce the Prevention of Torture Bill, 2010 as drafted the Rajya Sabha Select Committee in the forthcoming parliament session beginning on 22 November 2011. India has no willingness to stamp out torture. Read the most comprehensive report on Torture in India.
NASA
discovers Earth-size planets
NASA has discovered the first Earth-size planets orbiting a sun-like star
outside the Solar System, marking a milestone in the search for planets like
Earth. The planets, called Kepler-20e and Kepler-20f, are too close to their
star to be in the so-called habitable zone where liquid water could exist on a
planet's surface, NASA announced in a statement. The two planets are located in
a five-planet system called Kepler-20, about 1,000 light-years away in the
constellation Lyra. Kepler-20e orbits its parent star every 6.1 days and
Kepler-20f every 19.6 days. The new planets are thought to be rocky. Kepler-20e
is slightly smaller than Venus and Kepler-20f is larger than Earth.
"This discovery demonstrates for the first time that Earth-size planets exist
around other stars, and that we are able to detect them," Francois Fressin of
the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
said in the statement. Both planets' surface temperature is reportedly high.
Kepler-20f, at 800 degrees Fahrenheit, is similar to an average day on the
planet Mercury. The surface temperature of Kepler-20e, at more than 1,400
degrees Fahrenheit, would melt glass. Earlier this month in another science
mission NASA discovered another planet called Kepler-22b which has several
earth-like characteristics.
The Peak Oil Crisis: 2012 – Apocalypse Now? This sort of thing has happened within living memory - remember 1914 and 1939 - so a year in which much comes undone should not come as a great surprise. If you are looking for a general theory of what is about to happen to us, you might start with Joseph Tainter's The Collapse of Complex Societies in which the author identifies 17 examples of rapid societal collapse. In a nutshell, if anybody thinks the Roman Empire collapsed from too much complexity, one should look at the U.S. tax code or the efforts to refinance the EU's sovereign debt. Compared to the machinations of the 7 billion people currently running around the world, the Romans were running a kindergarten.
'United Kingdom risks break-up' The existence of the United Kingdom in the future is in doubt in the light of pressure by the Scottish National Party (SNP) to secure Scotland's independence from Britain, the British top civil servant says. Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O'Donnell said the SNP is posing an “enormous challenge” to London to the point that questions are now hovering in the air about Britain's ability to keep the 1707 Treaty of Union between the Kingdom of England and the Kingdom of scotland, which form the United Kingdom, in place. "Over the next few years, there will be enormous challenges, such as whether to keep our kingdom united," O'Donnell told the Daily Telegraph.
The SNP led by Scottish first minister Alex Salmond won a landslide Scottish vote in 2011. Independence from Britain has been one of SNP's main election pledges and the party has vowed to hold a referendum on the subject in either 2014 or 2015. Salmond even promised earlier this week to join the Euro when Scotland gains independence, in a show of how serious SNP's intentions are. This comes as the Scottish social attitudes survey, which is one of the most accredited public opinion tests in Britain, showed earlier this month that two thirds of the people in Scotland back independence from Britain. The research by the Scottish Centre for Social Research found that 65 percent of Scotland's population would support independence if their country prospers economically without Britain's help.
Christ Under Occupation: Christmas In The Holy Land
This weekend millions of cultural Christians throughout the world will flock
into churches and sing “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and hear stories of Nazareth
and Jerusalem. Too few know the 21st century realities about the land where
Jesus/AKA The Prince of Peace promised that the Peacemakers are the children of
God. The indigenous Christian population in the Holy Land has shrunk from 20% in
1948 to less than 2% in Israel and the West Bank today. In 1970, The World
Christian Database reported that the Christian population in the West Bank was
5.3% of that population and in 2011 their numbers have shrunk to half that.
'Dismantling Japan plant to
take 40 yrs' Nine months after Japan's nuclear disaster, Tokyo
says dismantling the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant will take 40 years.
The Japanese government released the prediction on Wednesday, saying use of
robots is necessary for the decommissioning as melted fuel appears to be stuck
to the bottom of the reactors' containment vessels. The government had placed
robots deep inside the reactors to gather information such as the level of
devastation, the amount of the meltdown, how much material is needed to be
removed and exact radiation levels inside. The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO),
which runs Japan's quake-hit Fukushima nuclear plant, had previously said that a
thorough cleaning of the contamination at the facility would take at least 30
years. TEPCO issued a detailed roadmap Wednesday over fully shutting down the
three reactors which suffered meltdowns after March double disasters of quake
and tsunami hit the facility.
Meanwhile, TEPCO said Thursday that electricity bills must go up to cover costs
of switching to other forms of energy. It did not give details on prices.
Earlier in October, the government estimated decommissioning the station may
cost at least $14.8 billion. The Japanese nuclear crisis broke out on March 11,
2011 after a 9-magnitude earthquake and a following tsunami hit Japan's
northeast coast, where Fukushima nuclear power plant is located. The tremor
triggered the nuclear disaster by knocking out power to cooling systems and the
reactor meltdowns at the nuclear power plant.
French MPs pass 2012 austerity budget French parliament has passed an austerity budget for 2012 that would allow the government to cut billions of euros in public spending and increase taxes. Most of members of the lower house of the French Parliament on Wednesday voted in favor of the government-backed austerity measures in the bill. The new budget contains elements of painful measures such as a new tax on soft drinks, fresh provisional levies on the rich and cuts to sick pay for civil servants. The bill needs to be passed by the opposition-controlled Senate to become law. The French government is planning a new set of austerity measures to protect the country against the escalating eurozone debt crisis.
To avoid credit rating downgrades, French
President Nikolas Sarkozy needs to cut France's public deficit to 4.5 percent of
GDP in 2012 from 5.7 percent this year. The government also needs to cut another
6 to 8 billion euros from the budget in order to keep its deficit-cutting plans
on track. Earlier, France trimmed its growth forecast for 2012 to 1 percent from
1.75 percent. The fresh cuts will come on top of the 11 billion euros of savings
announced by the government in the first round of austerity measures in August,
which resulted in nationwide protests. Insolvency threatens heavily debt-ridden
countries such as Greece, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Spain in the aftermath of
the debt crisis that has for months gripped the continent. So far, three
eurozone countries -- Greece, Ireland and Portugal -- have resorted to the
European Union (EU) or the International Monetary Fund (IMF) rescue bailouts
after their debt servicing costs climbed to unsustainable levels.
CSTO raps NATO missile system plan The seven-member Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has condemned the deployment of a US-led
NATO missile system in Europe, saying that the unilateral deployment threatens
global security. The organization, including Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan,
held a meeting in the Russian capital of Moscow on Tuesday. The leaders of the
CSTO member states said in a statement, "The unilateral deployment of strategic
missile systems by one state or a group of states without due account for the
lawful interests of other countries and without extending legally-binding
guarantees to the latter may damage international security and strategic
stability in Europe and the world as a whole." The Russian government has long
opposed NATO's disputed plan of deploying the missile system in Europe, arguing
that the system in its “back yard” is not to secure Washington's European allies
but is effectively aimed at Russia. Moscow has also called for sharing control
of any missile system, saying the aim of the so-called shield is to encircle
Russia. Washington, however, refuses to share the shield control with any third
party. The US and NATO have also refused to sign a written guarantee requested
by Russia, assuring that their system does not target Moscow.

Al-Malahem Media Presents the wonderful video release: The Martyr of Dawaah (Biography of Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki)
The Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan: Red Cross "Taliban bodies do not decay!"
The committee of the American Red Cross has
released a report on its webpage regarding the bodies of the dead (martyred)
Taliban compared to those of the foreign forces. The mentioned committee which
had the duty of collecting and burying the dead in Mazar Sharif province of
Afghanistan showed its astonishment as to why the dead bodies of Taliban had not
decayed or gave off foul smell?!! The report said that investigators initially
thought that the cold weather was the reason behind this phenomenon however this
theory was later shattered because the bodies of the northern alliance fighters
which were lying in the same area had decayed and were also giving off a
nauseating smell.
Commander along with 9 soldiers join Mujahideen PAKTIKA, Dec. 21 – Fatah Muhammad, an officer and 9 of his policemen severing for the puppet regime sides and joined Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in a village known as Kushta in Waza Khwa district of the province on Tuesday, a Mujahideen official said on Wednesday. They handed about 9 Kalashnikovs and some ammo over to Mujahideen. It is noteworthy that on Dec. 12 two top-ranking officers of the puppets Bakht Baran Bawari and Abdul Hai joined Mujahideen against the regime.
'US invaders forces may stay in Afghanistan after 2014'
American invader
forces could remain in Afghanistan permanently, the US terrorist commander in
Afghanistan says, despite Washington's promise to leave the country by the end
of 2014. "We would probably see some number of advisers, trainers, intelligence
specialists here for some period of time beyond 2014," Terrorist General John
Allen told The New York Times. The terrorist general, who oversees the US-led
invaders force in the decade-long Afghan war, avoided talking about troop
levels. Allen said talks with puppet Afghan President Hamid Karzai on a
strategic agreement would "almost certainly" include "a discussion with
Afghanistan of what a post-2014 force will look like."
Puppet Karzai had, "in fact, just the other day talked about his desire to have
conversations with the US about a post-2014 force," the terrorist general added.
US terrorist Ambassador to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker said earlier this month that
Washington was open to keeping forces in Afghanistan. Terrorist General Allen,
however, is the highest-ranking American military official to openly suggest the
possibility. The administration of US terrorist President Barack Obama has said
American invading terrorists would depart by the end of 2014. Currently, there
are nearly 150,000 US-led invaders forces, mostly Americans, in Afghanistan.
Chavez says: Obama, 'fake' president Venezuelan President Hugo
Chavez has called the US President “irresponsible” and “fake” after Obama made
some strong comments in an interview with Caracas newspaper El Universal.
According to the Venezuelan paper, Obama has said that the Venezuelan government
has “restricted the universal rights of the Venezuelan people, threatened basic
democratic values and failed to contribute to the security in the region.”
“Focus on governing your country, which you've turned into a disaster,” Chavez
told the state television on Monday, in response to Obama's comments. Chavez
went on to say that Obama is attacking Venezuela with the intention of winning
votes for his re-election.
Obama also criticized Venezuela's relationship with Tehran and Havana, saying
that, “I think the government's ties with Iran and Cuba have not benefited the
interests of Venezuela and its people.” This comes while President Chavez
emphasized that the US is unable to impose its policies on Caracas, stressing
that Venezuela's ties with Iran serve the interests of both nations. Iran has
expanded bilateral relations with Latin America in recent years, especially in
the commerce and industrial sectors. So far, the Iranian companies have built
over 10,000 housing units in Venezuela and the construction of another 7,000
homes is in the final stages. Over the past five years, Iran and Venezuela have
signed a number of memoranda of understanding and contracts for joint
participation and investments in oil and gas projects.
US foreclosures surge 21% in 3rd quarter Newly initiated foreclosures in the U.S. jumped in the third quarter of the year and are expected to remain at a high level for the "foreseeable future," a U.S. bank regulator said Wednesday. The number of new foreclosures increased by 21.1% during the third quarter, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said in a report. The rise follows an end to voluntary freezes on foreclosures started in late 2010 by mortgage servicers, the OCC said. There were 347,726 newly initiated foreclosures during the July to September period. Nearly 1.33 million foreclosures were in process at the end of the quarter; 172,785 home forfeitures were completed. "With this continued high level of seriously delinquent mortgages out there we will continue to see a high level of new foreclosure starts and at some point in the relatively near future we can expect to see the number of competed foreclosure sales...starting to pick up and increase," Bruce Krueger, lead mortgage expert at the OCC, said on a conference call with reporters. The OCC Mortgage Metrics Report provides performance data on first-lien residential mortgages serviced by national banks and federally regulated thrifts. The mortgages in this portfolio make up 62 percent of all mortgages outstanding in the United States. Market Watch.
Report: Ex-Mexican officials US spies More than 80 former Mexican government officials are working as spies for the US-based intelligence agencies, says a report recently released by a leading Mexican daily. The tasks that they have been assigned with include spying as well as gathering and analyzing information, La Jornada reported. It said that most of the officials were believed to be collaborating with the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). A report released by The New York Times earlier in December exposed that undercover DEA agents were laundering and smuggling the money seized from the Mexican drug cartels. The country witnessed 35,000 drug-related killings during 2009 and 2010. In March 2011, an official estimate showed that nearly 70 percent of all the guns found on the crime scenes had been US made. The report by the Mexican newspaper, meanwhile, did not rule out the possibility of current officials working with the agencies.
US Blocks UN From Condemning Israeli Settlement Expansion In a
move Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin termed “historic,” all 14 other members
of the United Nations Security Council united today to offer statements slamming
the United States for its decision to block a UN Security Council resolution on
Israel’s settlement expansion. Israel announced the latest in a long line of
such expansions on Sunday, and it has been roundly criticized by virtually every
nation on the planet, with European Union officials in particular warning the
move harmed the prospect of peace talks. The US termed the UN Security Council
divided, by which of course they meant a 14-1 division between the US and the
rest of the world. Israel issued a statement condemning the UN Security Council
for almost criticizing them and demanded that they instead focus on Iran. There
have been no peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority since
September 2010, when the partial freeze on settlement expansion ended. Since
then Israel has announced several massive expansions in the occupied West Bank,
with the most recent ones couched as “punishment” for the Palestinians for
seeking UN recognition.
Satanism. In live of Dutch TV participants of show ate human flesh
Satanization of the western world is growing rapidly. Public sodomy, drug
addiction, prostitution, orgy sin before the eyes of passers-by, satanic sects,
incest, promoted by all possible information holes, planting of sodomy to
children, the destruction of the family. A public cannibalism was added to this.
On the Dutch TV show participants ate in live a human flesh pieces, cut off from
each other. Hosts of Dutch TV Proefkonijnen ("The experimental pigs") and Dennis
Storm Valerio Zeno dined meat of each other in a live of TV channel BNN.
Europeans leave
en masse amidst crisis Tens of thousands of Europeans are
migrating from their homelands, many heading to the southern hemisphere, as the
continent sinks deeper into financial crisis. While official statistics shows
that Portugal, Greece and Ireland had the largest stream of immigrants leaving
their country's this year, evidence points to the same happening in Spain and
Italy. In 2010, 1.21 million Greeks have emigrated, according to the World Bank,
equaling 10.8 percent of the population. The top destinations for the Greek were
Germany, Australia, Canada, Albania, Turkey, UK, Cyprus, and Belgium.
This year, 2,500 Greek citizens have moved to Australia and another 40,000 have
"expressed interest" in moving south. In Ireland, where 14.5 percent of the
population is jobless, in the 12 months to April this year, 40,200 Irish
passport-holders left, up from 27,700 the previous year. According to the
Ireland's central statistics office, the number will increase to 50,000 by the
end of year, many heading for Australia and the US.
Meanwhile, Portugal's foreign ministry reports that at least 10,000 people have
left for oil-rich Angola this year. The Portuguese are also heading to other
former colonies, such as Mozambique and Brazil. According to Brazilian
government figures, the number of foreigners legally living in Brazil rose to
1.47 million in June, which 330,000 of them are Portuguese. Since its formation,
the European Union has been a haven for those seeking refuge from war,
persecution and poverty in other parts of the world. The worsening debt crisis,
however, has forced European governments to adopt harsh austerity measures and
tough economic reforms, which have made life much harder for ordinary citizens,
creating a new stream of immigrants leaving the continent. The debt crisis has
also sparked several incidents of social unrest, with strikes in Greece against
austerity measures turning bloody and a violent protest in Rome injuring more
than 100 people. Europe plunged into a financial crisis in early 2010.
Insolvency now threatens heavily debt-ridden countries such as Greece, Portugal,
Italy, Ireland and Spain.
The failures of democracy in the West offer hope for Islamic movements everywhere However, a number of recent factors appear to offer more concrete prospects of Muslims finally growing out of the easy myths of democracy. One is the economic crisis of Western capitalism and the various responses to it. In the US and other western countries — long the beneficiaries of the injustices of world capitalism, even though many people in all countries were individually victims of it — the growth of the anti-capitalist sentiment partially represented by the Occupy Wall Street and other similar movements is a sign that the impact of the economic crisis on the lives of ordinary people is having a political impact. The fact that at least some of the protestors are expressing anger not only at the exploitative and profiteering policies of the capitalist elites, but also at the political classes that kow-tow to them, may well have consequences for the nature of politics in many of these countries.
India conspiring to engage students in pro-India politics Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has warned that India was working on a new strategy to brainwash Kashmiri students and involve them in a futile pro-India political process. Syed Ali Gilani in statement in Srinagar said that the Indian intelligence agencies were trying to pollute the minds of the students by carrying out malicious political and cultural activities in the educational institutions of Kashmir. The veteran leader maintained that the Indian National Congress was making continuous attempts to set up its unit in Kashmir University that would be aimed at engaging the students into aimless political exercises. Speaking at the concluding day of a two-day seminar in New Delhi, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik asked the civil society of India and the world community to help Kashmiris secure their birthright of self-determination.
The seminar was jointly organised by Qaid-e-Azam
Institute and Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation. The JKLF Chairman urged
both India and Pakistan to resolve the vexed Kashmir dispute in accordance with
the Kashmiris’ aspirations without further delay. At the end of the seminar,
participants including diplomats, academicians, journalists and politicians from
Pakistan and India supported the involvement of Kashmiri leadership in the
decision-making process on the Kashmir dispute. Senior APHC leader Agha Syed
Hasan Al-Moosvi addressing a public gathering at Shalimar in Srinagar denounced
the arrest of youth and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He urged
India and Pakistan to include real Kashmiri leadership for the resolution of the
Kashmir dispute. APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited the residence of
well-known Kashmiri social activist and educationist, Professor Layeeq Ahmad
Qureshi, who passed away after a brief illness in Srinagar and offered
condolences with the bereaved family.
Wall Street's Puppet Show Begins in Asia Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra met with and pledged full support for Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar, still called by its British imperial name of "Burma" by many Western media outlets and even Suu Kyi herself. The meeting was hailed as, " Suu Kyi's first-ever meeting with the leader of a foreign country." On face value - we are expected believe this to be a landmark in "democratic development." In reality, it should be troubling to everyone from Myanmar to Thailand, and Asia as a whole.
Land Rights and the Rush For Land Report The report, ‘Land Rights and the Rush for Land’, involved the collaboration of over 40 different organisations in the research process – the biggest study to date. It says rural livelihoods have been put in jeopardy by the land grabbing deals, with the promise of jobs not, as yet, materialising.

The Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan: Americans must substantially recompense Iraq for nine years of occupation!! It is clear that the American invaders left behind Iraq in a condition in which the country’s treasury, historical artifacts and infrastructure has been looted and destroyed; its high rise commercial and political buildings turned to rubble; its green areas and parks turned into junkyards; its roads and bridges pock-marked with craters and on top of this, one hundred and fifty thousand innocent Iraqi’s have been murdered and around 2.5 million Iraqi’s have been displaced whereas its resource rich wealthy people have been thrown into a ditch of poverty and destitution.

Los
Alamos home to US criminal minds
The Unites States continues to funnel
billions of dollars of its taxpayers' money into military projects and weapons
of mass destruction under the pretext of conducting scientific researches. Human
rights activists have raised concerns over the nature of studies being carried
out at the controversial Los Alamos National Laboratory, which is located in Los
Alamos, New Mexico. The facility is one of the most strategic military research
centers in the US, which engages in interdisciplinary studies as well as
national security, space exploration, meteorology studies, reversible energies,
medicine nanotechnology, thought control, supercomputers and nuclear warfare.
The facility in question is comprised of more than 2,200 buildings in an area of
43 square miles and has more than 12,000 personnel. But many believe Los Alamos
resembles an enormous military base, and that the studies in the center are
mainly focused on developing deadlier biological weapons, more devastating
nuclear bombs and stronger weapons of mass destruction.
The composition of the staff employed in the gargantuan laboratory, informed
sources say, is uniquely characterized by the large presence of nuclear
physicists, who account for almost one-third of the personnel at the site.
Nearly a quarter of the staff are engineers, one-sixth specialize in chemistry
and the rest include different scientists, mathematicians, computer engineers,
biologists, and geologists. The center, which houses six massive nuclear weapons
systems including Minuteman III, receives an estimated two billion dollars in
funding annually. The Los Alamos National Laboratory is also infamous for test
firing the world's first atomic bombs, two of which were used against hundreds
of thousands of civilians in Nagasaki and Hiroshima in World War II. The center
plans to build a new six-billion dollar nuclear lab dubbed Chemistry Metallurgy
Research Replacement Facility and has raised fears that nuclear and plutonium
researches may be conducted there.
Growing Hunger and Homelessness in America Millions of Americans now endure protracted Depression conditions at a time half the population is either poor or low income. Long-term unemployment is unprecedented, and federal aid is being cut, not increased. Two new reports highlight enormous depravation levels and human suffering, getting little or no major media attention. Many affected families used to be middle class. They're now low-income or impoverished by unemployment or spotty low-pay part-time work.
Money Power World Rule "Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again." "However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money."
The Indian Land Grab In Africa Joining the neo-colonial bandwagon, Indian companies are taking over agricultural land in African nations and exporting produced food at the cost of locals. INDIAN COMPANIES venturing abroad is always regarded as a healthy trend, an indicator of India's new-found economic status. But little is known about how these companies are flexing their imperalistic muscles in poorer countries, grabbing the land and giving little in return. A report ‘India’s Role in the New Global Farmland Grab’ by researcher Rick Rowden brings forth these atrocities which are shockingly similar to what India used to blame rich western countires for.
Over 462 trillion becquerels Fukushima strontium in Pacific Ocean, Seafood risk After Japanese Prime Minister declared the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe under control Friday, Japan's The Asahi Shimbun newspaper released calculations Monday showing at least 462 trillion becquerels of radioactive strontium have leaked into the Pacific Ocean since Fukushima's No. 1 nuclear power plant catastrophe began, making it one of the world's most severe marine pollution cases in history. According to Greenpeace independent research, Government and retailors are not adequately protecting the public from dangerous radioactive contaminated Pacific seafood, still sold unlabeled in Japan and on the international market, including to the United States due to a secret pact between Secretary Clinton and the Japanese Prime Minister.

The Hidden History of Jewish Bolshevism
As you watch this documentary please keep these terrorists in mind Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky, Stalin, Karl Marx, Sverdlov, Lev Kamenev, Zinoviev. What do all these terrorists have in common, they were all Jews and collectively they killed more then 135 million people, with no exception these terrorists did not even spare the newborn babies.
Bolshevism was the product of Jewish intrigue, power, and wealth, and represented a world catastrophe engineered by International Jews who were engaged in the deconstruction of Christendom -- i.e., they wanted to destroy Western Civilization, culture and in the process made billions of dollars.
The reason why Jewish bankers assassinated President John F. Kennedy
President Kennedy, the Federal Reserve and Executive Order 11110
by Cedric X.
From The Final Call, Vol15, No.6, on January 17, 1996 (USA)
On June 4, 1963, a little known attempt was made to strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the government at interest. On that day President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order No. 11110 that returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve. Mr. Kennedy's order gave the Treasury the power "to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury." This meant that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury's vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation. In all, Kennedy brought nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes into circulation. The ramifications of this bill are enormous.
With the stroke of a pen, Mr. Kennedy was on his way to putting the Federal Reserve Bank of New York out of business. If enough of these silver certificats were to come into circulation they would have eliminated the demand for Federal Reserve notes. This is because the silver certificates are backed by silver and the Federal Reserve notes are not backed by anything. Executive Order 11110 could have prevented the national debt from reaching its current level, because it would have given the gevernment the ability to repay its debt without going to the Federal Reserve and being charged interest in order to create the new money. Executive Order 11110 gave the U.S. the ability to create its own money backed by silver.
After Mr. Kennedy was assassinated just five months later, no more silver certificates were issued. The Final Call has learned that the Executive Order was never repealed by any U.S. President through an Executive Order and is still valid. Why then has no president utilized it? Virtually all of the nearly $6 trillion in debt has been created since 1963, and if a U.S. president had utilized Executive Order 11110 the debt would be nowhere near the current level. Perhaps the assassination of JFK was a warning to future presidents who would think to eliminate the U.S. debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve's control over the creation of money. Mr. Kennedy challenged the government of money by challenging the two most successful vehicles that have ever been used to drive up debt - war and the creation of money by a privately-owned central bank. His efforts to have all troops out of Vietnam by 1965 and Executive Order 11110 would have severely cut into the profits and control of the New York banking establishment. As America's debt reaches unbearable levels and a conflict emerges in Bosnia that will further increase America's debt, one is force to ask, will any President have the courage to consider utilizing Executive Order 11110 and, if so, is he willing to pay the ultimate price for doing so?

The helicopter caught fire in the air and then violently crashed into the ground, killing and wounding all enemy troops and crew onboard. Officials say that Mujahideen had set up the ambush near the site of another helicopter which had crash landed the other night and carried out the attack as the mentioned helicopter arrived to take away the wreckage. The area has been cordoned off from public by the enemy troops.
hypocrite Iran say "Bagram Airbase threat to entire region" that is why Iran help American with its cronies the Northern Allied to invader Afghanistan Head of hypocrite Iran Foreign Ministry's Afghanistan Headquarters says the US invaders airbase near the city of Bagram poses a serious security and intelligence threat to Kabul's regional neighbors. Hypocrite Mohsen Pakayin said the Bagram Airbase is among the main US invaders bases in Afghanistan and has very sophisticated equipment. “It has been built at the cost of more than 200 million dollars and millions of dollars have been also spent on equipping it. Its main feature is a terrible prison which houses about 700 prisoners…,” he added. The hypocrite Iranian official emphasized that the United States uses bases in Afghanistan to implement its policies toward regional states. And thanks to Iran who provided full support to the American forces as they were invaded Afghanistan, but i guess hypocrite Iran things that people have forgotten its treachery against the Muslims of Afghanistan by lip servicing opposition against America, who is his number one partner but only behind close doors, but in font of the people an staunch enemy.

What The Jews Did To Germany now in the USA
Origination of Christmas When was Jesus born?
Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding the expansion of local militias by the invaders The recent assertions made by some generals of the foreign invading forces that they are pursuing a strategy of expanding the number of hired gunmen in the country and of creating more unaccountable local militias under various names. This in itself confirms the weak and frail state faced by the invaders because maintaining the security of an area by local militias is the very sign of fragility and failure. These are the same militias which were being disarmed by them ten years ago under the DDR initiative but today find them a necessity and are empowering them. This can only mean that all the other maneuvers and tactics used in Afghanistan have been futile and the decade of strategies and plans have not only failed but have declined to the extent that they are now repeating the failed experiences of the Soviet Union as it was about to collapse.
Attack on Howza # 5 ( police station) kills scores of joint forces KABUL, Dec. 17 – A group of martyrdom-seeking Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate stormed the Hawz # 5 ( main police station) in Koti Sagi, Kabul city with rockets, heavy machine guns hand grenades and explosive vest last night at about 8:00 pm taking the enemy, while having dinner, under target killing and wounding several dozens of NATO invaders and puppet forces, a martyr-seeing Mujahid told Zabihullah Mujahid by cellular phone.
Russia is incorregible, any Russian ruler in Putin's position would be also tyrant and dictator "As Putin's grasp on the country loosens, I wonder: What would Russia look like today if he had never come to power? And now, what might be in store for a post-Putin Russia? Twelve and a half years ago, then-President Boris Yeltsin plucked Putin as his successor from a tiny pool of bureaucrats who had remained loyal to him when his popularity plummeted.
Russia joins World Trade Organisation After 18 years of
negotiations Russia has been approved for membership in the World Trade
Organisation. Russia is the largest economy in the world that was not a part of
the WTO. Members of the organisation have finally agreed to its accession. Talks
on joining the international trade body have dragged on for 18 years. Russia's
bid for entry had been held up by WTO member Georgia since the two countries
fought a war in 2008. Russia hopes to boost exports of minerals, but a large
number of domestic industries, such as car makers, will face new competition. It
is also expected food imports will soar and prices will fall as tariffs are
reduced. A member of the Russian delegation to the WTO, Anatoly Chubais, says
his country is increasingly opening itself up to the world.
"After almost 100 years of the very complicated Russian history, after the
Bolshevik Revolution, after the Democratic Revolution in 1991, Russia is coming
back to the civilised world, and they are doing it in the way which is
recognised by the world community," he said. US president Barack Obama
personally called Russian president Dmitry Medvedev to congratulate him on
Russia's admission. White House spokesman Jay Carney says the president also
used the call to raise the issue of voting irregularities in Russia's recent
parliamentary election. WTO membership will officially commence after
ratification by the Russian parliament.
India to get Russian nuclear submarine by month-end Moscow, December 17 (KMS): Indian Navy will get the Akula-II class 'Nerpa' nuclear attack submarine from Russia towards the end of this month on a 10-year lease. Talking to media after plenary level talks between President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Moscow, Russian Chief of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Mikhail Dmitriyev said, "We had the plan to deliver it by the end of this year and we will make efforts to meet it.” The submarine is capable of remaining underwater for months. The Akula-II class submarines are equipped with 28 nuclear-capable cruise missiles with a striking range of 3,000 kilometres.
How WTO membership made China the workshop of the world China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) a decade ago primed it for high-speed growth. Other countries have seen benefits as well – but say China has also become adept at getting around the rules.
With Friends Like Gingrich, Does Israel Need Enemies? Gingrich is doing immense damage to the national interests of the US. At this historic juncture, the masses at all the Tahrir Squares across the Arab world are wondering about America’s attitude. Newt’s answer contributes to a new and more profound anti-Americanism....Alas, he is not the only extreme rightist seeking to embrace Israel. Israel has lately become the Mecca of all the world’s racists. This week we were honored by the visit of the husband of Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Front. A pilgrimage to the Jewish State is now a must for any aspiring fascist.
Dangerous lies: US Media Outlet Falsely Accuses Venezuela of Terrorist Plot This week Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called on friends and allies to “be attentive” after mainstream media outlets in the United States released uncorroborated evidence accusing Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran of holding “secret meetings” in Mexico to plan terrorist attacks against “US interests”. While President Chavez readily dismissed the “lies” produced by Spanish-language media corporation Univision, a documentary released by the company late last week is now being used by right-wing members of the US Congress to demand Venezuela be formally designated a “State Sponsor of Terrorism”.
Univision, which sold for $ 13.7 billion back in 2007, now belongs, in part, to Israeli American media mogul Haim Saban. In a May 2010 profile published in The New Yorker, writer Connie Bruck noted that Saban´s “greatest concern is to protect Israel by strengthening the United States-Israel relationship”. According to Bruck, Saban´s self-defined “three ways to be influential in US politics” are “make donations to political parties, establish think tanks, and control media outlets”.

A second Iraqi province seeks autonomy from Baghdad A split provincial council in Diyala has signed a request for the province to be granted regional status, a first step in seeking greater autonomy from the Baghdad government, council members said Tuesday. The move comes two months after the provincial council in Salahuddin, former dictator Saddam Hussein's home province, declared semiautonomous status, and reflects disenchantment and sectarian rivalries as the U.S. departs Iraq. Sixteen of 29 Diyala provincial council members signed the request — all members of the Kurdish and opposition Iraqiya blocs, which are suspicious of Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki's Shiite Muslim-dominated government.
House cybersecurity bill would establish federal overseer Members of the House Homeland Security Committee introduced a cybersecurity bill on Thursday that would establish a quasi-governmental entity to oversee information-sharing with the private sector. Like the other cybersecurity bills offered by the House GOP, the Promoting and Enhancing Cybersecurity and Information Sharing Effectiveness (PrECISE Act) encourages private firms to share information on cyber threats but stops short of mandating new security standards for sectors deemed critical to national security.

It Is Haram To Celebrate Christmas & New Year However, since Islam was neglected from the everyday life as a regulatory system, the ummah have been practicing ugly things; the rules of the Kuffaar have been implemented upon this ummah and the concepts of kufr have dominated them. The Western invasion with its foul and abject culture has been successful in marring the dien of Islam and the morals of the ummah, making them have no value. The Western slogans have been adopted by Muslims through the celebrations and festivals of the West. This defective Western culture has been aided by the rulers who devote themselves to separate Islam from life, and carry out the ideological war and plant their ugly concepts, and then force the people to embrace what the West had always wanted, i.e. individuals who are secular.

Ex-Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae chiefs sued over loans Daniel Mudd, the former Chief Executive Officer of Fannie Mae, and Richard Syron, ex-CEO of Freddie Mac, were sued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for understating by hundreds of billions of dollars the subprime loans held by the agencies. The lawsuits filed Friday in Manhattan federal court were followed by an SEC statement that it had entered into non- prosecution agreements with each lender. Fannie Mae, the government-sponsored enterprise which issues almost half of all mortgage-backed securities, and Freddie Mac, the McLean, Virginia-based mortgage-finance company, had “agreed to accept responsibility” for their conduct, the SEC said. In the lawsuits, the SEC said Syron, Mudd and others understated the lenders' exposure to subprime mortgage loans. From 2007 to 2008, Freddie Mac executives said the company's exposure was between $2 billion and $6 billion when it was actually as high as $244 billion, according to one SEC complaint. From 2006 to 2008, Washington-based Fannie Mae executives said the firm's exposure to subprime mortgage and reduced documentation loans was about $4.8 billion when it was nearly 10 times greater, according to the regulator. “Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac executives told the world that their subprime exposure was substantially smaller than it really was,” Robert Khuzami, direct of the SEC's enforcement division, said today in a statement. The U.S. subprime mortgage crisis was one of the main causes of the late-2000s financial crisis and economic recession. The U.S. Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission reported its findings in January 2011. It concluded that "the crisis was avoidable and was caused in part by widespread failures in financial regulation and systemic breaches in accountability and ethics at all levels.

Argentina limits ownership of farmland by corporations
Argentina's congress has started to debate a bill that would regulate the
purchase of farmland by foreigners in the Latin American country. The bill,
which has been introduced following Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez's
request, would bar foreigners from owning more than 1000 hectares and cap
foreign ownership to 20 % in rural lands throughout the country. Lower House's
commissions of General Legislation, Agriculture and Constitutional Affairs have
treated and passed the project that, according to Fernandez, “does not affect
property rights but simply protects a strategic resource in a world that would
need food and energy”. Certain opposition lawmakers have criticized the project
saying that the government is trying to impose a debate based on 'false
nationalism' that jeopardizes foreign investments. “It is not that this bill
jeopardizes investment, I would say that it wipes it out,” Ricardo Buryaile an
opposition lawmaker told reporters.
He added that, “Sovereignty has to do with the country's capability to assert
self determination and the ability to enact its own laws. People who buy a piece
of land here must abide by the national legislation. It is a xenophobic bill.”
Argentina's president of the Agriculture Commission, Luis Basterra, responded
the criticism and affirmed the new legislation will not breach investments since
rural land is deemed as a non-renewable natural resource and not as an
investment. Despite political and ideological discrepancies, representatives of
the opposition and the ruling party agreed land ownership must be regulated
considering that 10% of Argentina's land is in foreign hands.
'We prefer to be French than British' France's Finance Minister
Francois Baroin has joined the country's central bank chief and prime minister
in launching a scathing attack on the British economy saying it is “very
worrying.” “It's true that the economic situation in Great Britain is very
worrying and that we prefer being French rather than British on the economic
front at the moment,” said Baroin in an interview with Europe 1 radio. His
comments come as other French officials including central bank chief Christian
Noyer and Prime Minister Francois Fillon called on ratings agencies to downgrade
Britain's credit rating. “They should start by degrading the United Kingdom,
which has greater deficits, as much debt, more inflation and less growth than
us,” said Noyer in an interview with regional newspaper Le Telegramme.
Furthermore, referring to the economic crisis gripping “the European currency,”
Fillon said: “But we are not the only ones. Our British friends are even more
indebted than we are and have a higher deficit, but the ratings agencies do not
seem to notice this.” French officials' “war of words on Britain,” as described
by the Daily Telegraph, came after the French President Nicolas Sarkozy
responded to British Prime Minister David Cameron's EU veto with warnings of
“two Europes.” Cameron's official spokesman rejected the criticisms and insisted
that Britain had a “credible” economic plan. Nevertheless, the British media
expressed anger at the French criticism instead of providing evidence for the
“credible” economic plan. “It is simply not the job of a central bank governor
to urge the downgrading of another country's credit,” said the Times.
Furthermore, the Sun described Noyer as “a AAA-rated fool” saying “You find who
your friends are in a crisis.”
Former French President Guilty of Corruption A French court
has convicted 79-year-old former President Jacques Chirac of is accused of
embezzling public funds in the 1990s, and abusing public confidence and given
him a two-year suspended prison sentence. He was not in court to hear the
verdict because of ill-health, but his daughter was. Chirac, who served as
French President for 12 years, between 1995 to 2007, was put on trial on charges
that dated back to his time as mayor of Paris - from 1977 to 1995 - for paying
members of his Rally for the Republic (RPR) party for municipal jobs that did
not exist.
Iraq war cost $4 trillion and
counting The nine-year-old Iraq war came to an official end on
Thursday, but paying for it will continue for decades until U.S. taxpayers have
shelled out an estimated $4 trillion. Over a 50-year period, that comes to $80
billion annually. Near the start of the war, the U.S. Defense Department
estimated it would cost $50 billion to $80 billion. White House economic adviser
Lawrence Lindsey was dismissed in 2002 after suggesting the price of invading
and occupying Iraq could reach $200 billion.
“The direct costs for the war were about $800 billion, but the indirect costs,
the costs you can’t easily see, that payoff will outlast you and me,” said
Lawrence Korb, a senior fellow at American Progress, a Washington, D.C. think
tank, and a former assistant secretary of defense under Ronald Reagan.
Those costs include interest payments on the billions
borrowed to fund the war; the cost of maintaining military bases in
Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain to defend Iraq or reoccupy the country if the Baghdad
government unravels; and the expense of using private security contractors to
protect U.S. property in the country and to train Iraqi forces. Caring for
veterans, more than 2 million of them, could alone reach $1 trillion, according
to Paul Rieckhoff, executive director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of
America, in Congressional testimony in July. Other experts said that was too
conservative and anticipate twice that amount. The advance in medical technology
has helped more soldiers survive battlefield injuries, but followup care can
often last a lifetime and be costly.
US Still Seeking Legal Immunity for Defense Contractors in Iraq Beyond 2012
The Obama administration is continuing to pursue an agreement with the Iraqi
government that would give U.S. defense contractors remaining there beyond 2012
immunity from Iraqi law. While the approximately 17,000 diplomats and
servicemembers working for the State Department are shielded by diplomatic
immunity from prosecution under Iraqi law, the thousands of private contractors
and mercenaries no longer have such protections, pursuant to the 2008 Status of
Forces Agreement. The Obama administration’s plan to keep thousands of U.S.
soldiers in Iraq beyond the December 2011 deadline to withdraw fell through in
October when the Iraqi government would not grant legal immunity to the troops.
Providing immunity from Iraqi law to any lingering security forces is highly
unpopular in Iraq, especially after the 2007 Nisour Square massacre in which
U.S. mercenary soldier from Blackwater Inc. murdered 17 Iraqi civilians.
Coincidentally, Blackwater is trying to renew contracts to march back into Iraq
under a new company name, “Academi.” The effort to get legal protections for
defense contractors is an example of the Obama administration’s refusal to put
an end to the occupation and domination of Iraq. And it may be successful.
“Neither side has closed the door at this point,” said OSC-I spokesman Lt. Col.
Tom Hanson.
US withdraws but Australian ABC censors out 4.6 million war-related Iraqi dead

that since 1990 has suffered 4.6 million war-related deaths, 1.7 million violent
deaths, 2.9 million avoidable deaths from war-imposed deprivation, 5-6 million
refugees and 2.0 million under-5 infant deaths, 90% avoidable and due to
egregious US Alliance war crimes in gross violation of the Geneva Convention.
However the Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-beholden Mainstream

report the carnage of the 2 decade US War on Muslims in an ongoing process of
utterly repugnant genocide complicity, genocide ignoring, genocide denial,
holocaust complicity, holocaust ignoring, and holocaust denial.
Indefinite detention bill passes in Senate On Bill of Rights Day
Exactly 220 years to the date after the Bill of Rights was ratified, the US
Senate today voted 86 to 13 in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act
for Fiscal Year 2012, allowing the indefinite detention and torture of
Americans. After a back-and-forth in recent days between both the Senate and
House yielded intense criticism from Americans attempting to hold onto their
Constitutional rights, NDAA FY2012 is now on its way to the White House, where
yesterday the Obama administration revealed that the president would not veto
the legislation, cancelling a warning he offered less than a month earlier.
U.S. to establish new fund supporting NGOs to destabilize Russia The U.S. administration is in talks with Congress on the establishment of a new organization supporting NGOs in Russia, Philip Gordon, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, said on Wednesday, December 14. “As part of our democracy strategy, the administration has been consulting with Congress on an initiative to create a new fund to support Russian non-governmental organizations that are committed to a more pluralistic and open society,” Gordon said.

Companies Bill for Corporate Funding of political parties & NGOs
introduced This reveals double speak, insincerity and
inconsistency of the Indian National Congress led UPA government. It is the
Companies Bill which is needed to be rectified to deal with black money and
corporate funding for electoral campaigns but this has not happened. This is
contrary to the sense of both the houses of the Parliament. The root of rampant
corporate crimes committed with impunity, environmental destruction, poisoning
of food chain and human rights violations by security forces has been traced to
corporate funding of political parties. In the aftermath of industrial
disasters, frauds and war crimes by companies world over, this Bill merits
rigorous scrutiny by all sections of legislatures and society.

Reaction of the spokesman of Islamic Emirate regarding the US Secretary of Defense’s latest remarks While on his latest unannounced visit to Afghanistan, the US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta remarked during his speech in Paktia province and Kabul that the country was headed in the right direction and that this war is winnable whereas the Taliban have been significantly weakened but not yet defeated.
Panetta Declares US ‘Winning’ in Afghanistan 'As Always, We Have Not Won' Over a decade into the US-led occupation of Afghanistan with no end in sight, and with officials quietly negotiating to keep US ground troops in the nation for another 14 years, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta informed the troops that “we’re winning.” Exactly what they’re winning isn’t clear, and when asked at a news conference later Panetta said the large size of the Afghan national army was evidence of his claim, adding that the Taliban had gotten weaker over the course of a decade of fighting. “As always, we have not won, we have not completed this mission,” added Panetta, without indicating exactly what “this mission” is. Throughout the rest of his comments he never again uttered the phrase “we’re winning.” When pressed by a soldier on whether the US “win” might mean leaving and returning a decade later, Panetta answered that the US would be supporting Karzai “long after the end of 2014.” The comment, as always, did not publicly mention the talks to keep troops in the nation for a decade beyond that date.
Jewish terrorists
set fire to mosque in West Bank
Jewish terrorists have once again set fire to a
Palestinian mosque in the occupied West Bank. Terrorist Jewish settlers torched
the mosque in the village of Burqa on Thursday. The extremists also scrawled
graffiti on the walls of the mosque. The graffiti indicated that the attack was
carried out “in response to the dismantling of two buildings” in an illegal
Israeli settlement outpost several hours earlier in the day. Jewish terrorist
settlers also set fire to a mosque in the western part of al-Quds (Jerusalem) on
Wednesday. In recent months, the settlers have increased attacks on Palestinian
mosques. On many occasions, the attacks have led to clashes with Palestinians.
The latest attack in Burqa was apparently carried out in line with the so-called
“price tag” policy. Jewish terrorists say the “price tag” attacks are carried
out against any Israeli policy "to reduce the presence of Jewish settlers and
settlements on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East al-Quds."

The Liar Nation! A lie is defined as an act
of fabricating information to deceive people or give a wrong emphasis to others
and an act that is far from the truth. In general a lie is known as a wrong
deed, either morally or religiously. Loosely, it could be understood that
someone who lies is a person who cannot be trusted and the lie that is
widespread can create suspicions, chaos and destructions among the people
(societies). It is not a strange thing anymore when learning about the lives of
the Western society which is full of lies, that liars are scattered everywhere
and it has become their way of life.
Greek unemployment hits record high
Unemployment rate in Greece has hit a new record
high while tax-hikes and budget cuts weigh in on the Greek economy, which is
facing a fifth year of recession. According to the report released on Thursday
by the Hellenic Statistical Agency, unemployment in Greece has reached 17.7
percent, steadily rising from 16.3 and 12.4 in the two previous years.
Employment has shrunk 7.4 percent since 2010, bringing the total figure of
employed Greeks to just over 4 million and those enrolled on unemployment
benefits to just fewer than 900,000. A recent report by the International
Monetary Fund has predicted that jobless numbers will continue to rise over the
next two years to peak at 19.5 percent. On Thursday, more than one thousand
pensioners rallied outside parliament to protest cuts to their pensions.
Pensions have been cut by a third under the austerity program. The European
Union (EU) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have presented Greece with
two rescue packages in return for specific austerity measures, which include the
cutting of public sector salaries and pensions, increasing taxes and overhauling
the pension system. The suggestion of these measures has sparked nationwide
protests in Greece. Europe plunged into a financial crisis in early 2010.
Insolvency now threatens heavily debt-ridden countries such as Greece, Portugal,
Italy, Ireland and Spain.

New Armed Stealth Drone Heads to Afghanistan The U.S. Air Force is sending a single copy of a brand-new stealth drone to Afghanistan. Only maybe not just Afghanistan. Officially, the General Atomics-made Avenger — a sleek, jet-powered upgrade of the iconic armed Predator and Reaper — is heading to Afghanistan as a combat-capable “test asset.” The Air Force said in a statement that it loves how the Avenger’s “internal weapons bay and four hardpoints on each wing,” will give it “greater flexibility and will accommodate a large selection of next generation sensor and weapons payloads,” as reported by Zach Rosenberg at Flightglobal.
China announces Indian Ocean naval base in Seychelles China on Monday announced setting up its first naval base abroad at Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. The former British colony, Seychelles, lies in parallel to the Maldives and the US-British base Diego Garcia in the East, the Somalian coast of Africa in the West, Gulf of Aden/ entrance to the Red Sea in the north, and Indian dominated Mauritius as well as the French colony Reunion in the South. While the Chinese defence ministry announced that its Navy would seek supplies and recuperate facilities through the base, the Seychelles foreign minister said that his country had invited China to set the base to fight against piracy. The base gains significance, as China is about to launch its first aircraft carrier, Hindustan Times said.
Cyber war on US drones? Another spy craft crash, now in Seychelles
With America still scrambling to explain why and how they lost a drone aircraft
over Iran last week, the Pentagon is trying to make sense of how another
high-tech unmanned spy craft crashed Tuesday morning in the Seychelles. For the
second time in two weeks, American authorities lost contact with a drone
aircraft, this time resulting in a fiery crash in the Seychelles in the Indian
Ocean. The United States has operated an Air Force base there since 2009 to
dispatch drones for use in anti-piracy missions and to patrol the skies over
Somalia and elsewhere.
Egypt goes to polls again to seal the parliament CAIRO: After handing over a thumping victory to Islamists in the first round, Egyptians on Wednesday headed for a second phase of parliamentary polls to decide the future of nine governorates, with the liberals hoping to make an impact this time. About 18 million Egyptians head to polling booths today for the voting that would take place over two days and a run-off being held a week later. Egypt’s moderate Islamists -- the Muslim Brotherhood -- emerged as the largest force in the first round of elections with their Freedom and Justice Party winning 36 per cent of the popular vote. But the surprise showing came Al Nour party that won almost 25 per cent of the vote. The Egyptian liberal parties managed roughly 30 per cent of the vote together. While the first round laid out a trend, the second round would decide how the future political landscape of Egypt would look like.

‘Terror group’ Somalia’s only hope for peace and stability To end the war and famine ravaging Somalia the West must deal with men it regards as dangerous extremists, urges Welsh foreign affairs expert Grant Dawson. WHO can bring peace to Somalia after two decades of destructive civil war and cope with its worst famine in 60 years? Could it be that Somalia’s only hope are the people we have been told to despise – the terrorists?
Jewish terrorists torch Jerusalem mosque
JERUSALEM -- Right wing Israelis
set fire to a mosque in Jerusalem overnight, Israeli police said. "During the
night, there was an attempt to set fire to a mosque in the city center," police
spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP. "Police also found graffiti on the walls.
The police have opened an investigation." Vandals sprayed the Star of David and
racist graffiti including "Muhammad is a pig" and "A good Arab is a dead Arab"
in Hebrew on the mosque's walls. They also sprayed "price tag" on the building,
a term used by settlers to describe a policy to attack Palestinians and their
property in retaliation for perceived anti-settler actions by the Israeli
government. The perpetrators did not manage to get into the building, which has
a minaret but is currently being used as a storage facility for the city
council, a municipal worker at the site said. Israel police said they had opened
an investigation into the incident, which took place just off Jaffa Street, west
Jerusalem's main shopping artery. Some of the exterior walls were burnt and
there was a strong smell of petrol, although it appeared the fire had not
caught. But the attackers also broke pipes in the building, with around 10 cm of
water on the floor inside, an AFP correspondent said.
Meanwhile in the northern West Bank settlers raided Duma village south of Nablus
and torched a car belonging to Razzaq Dawabsha and a water tanker truck,
Palestinian security officials told Ma'an. The settlers also tried to set fire
to a bus, security officers said. In neighboring village Yasuf, a settler set
fire to a car owned by Muhammad Ibrahim Muslih, locals said. Witnesses said the
settler arrived on a tractor near Zatara checkpoint shortly after midnight and
torched Muslih's car at the entrance to Yasuf. Settlers also set fire to a car
belonging to Ahmad Abdul-Aziz Eid in Kifl Haris village in the Salfit district
overnight, locals told Ma'an. Hebrew-language graffiti found in the villages
bore the hallmark of a "price tag" attack, an Israeli army spokesman said,
although he declined to elaborate. The incidents came just 24 hours after a
group of extremist settlers attacked an army base in the northern West Bank and
sabotaged vehicles there, in an attack which was angrily denounced by Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials.
Settlers also broke into a closed military zone along the Jordanian border and
staged a protest on Monday night. For the most part, "price tag" attacks target
Palestinians although there has been a growing number of attacks inside Israel
in recent months following an arson at a mosque in a Bedouin village in Galilee
in September, which sparked international condemnation. Israeli officials have
been quick to condemn such attacks but the perpetrators are very rarely
arrested.

given a call for peaceful protest demonstrations on Friday against human rights
violations, crackdown operations and restrictions on freedom of expression in

the purpose of the demonstrations was to draw the attention of the world
community towards the sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
Indian troops suffering from aids, cancer, mental illness New
Delhi, December 14 (KMS): In New Delhi, more than 5,000 Indian paramilitary
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have reported to be suffering from
various diseases including AIDS and cancer this year. The CRPF, which has almost
3 lakh men and women in its more than 200 battalions, has also reported the
maximum number of deaths (175) amongst central police and paramilitary forces
this year. While a total of 5,404 personnel (including 136 women) have reported
to be suffering from skin, heart and mental diseases, depression, high blood
pressure, AIDS and cancer in CRPF, the corresponding figures in other forces
were—Assam Rifles (1,177), CISF (472), SSB (375), ITBP (161), BSF (27) and NSG
(8), an Indian minister informed the Lok Sabha in New Delhi. The number of
personnel who died during 2011 owing to the diseases stood at CRPF (175)
including three women, CISF (69), Assam Rifles (35), BSF (31), ITBP (17) and SSB
(3). The government of India, however, did not specify the numbers in case of
each disease separately. "There is no increase in the number of cases of skin,
heart and mental diseases, depression, high blood pressure, AIDS, cancer
diseases and deaths due to these diseases amongst the personnel of central
paramilitary forces," Indian Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh said in a
written reply in Lok Sabha.
Half million people die of cancer every year in India’ New
Delhi, December 14 (KMS): The Indian Minister of State for Health Sudip
Bandyopadhyay has informed the Rajya Sabha that the cancer is on the rise in
India, with an estimated 535,767 people dying of the disease this year. “As per
National Cancer Registry Programme of the Indian Council of Medical Research,
the number of cancer cases is gradually increasing in India,” the Indian
minister said in a written reply during the question hour. As many as 535,767
cancer deaths were reported this year, compared to 524,911 deaths last year. In
2009, 514,470 people died of the disease.
Child Poverty In America Is Absolutely EXPLODING – 16 Shocking Statistics That Will Break Your Heart If the U.S. economy is improving, then why is child poverty in America absolutely exploding? If we are experiencing “economic growth”, then why are more than half of all children in major U.S. cities like Cleveland and Detroit living in poverty? If we are the “greatest economy on earth”, then why are one out of every four American children on food stamps? The shocking statistics that you are about to read below should absolutely break your heart. Tonight, millions of precious American children will go to bed without any dinner. Tonight, millions of American children will shiver as they try to go to sleep because their families cannot afford any heat. How bad does child poverty have to get before we all finally admit that our economic system is completely failing many of the most vulnerable members of our society?
Mental Illness or Social Sickness? In the normal course of
its functioning, capitalism deprives, injures, sickens and kills millions of
people. What prevents the dispossessed from rising up to end this oppressive
social arrangement? To sustain itself, the ruling class erects institutions of
social control backed by ideas that justify the way things are. One of these
institutions is modern medicine, which developed as a system of diagnosing and
treating individuals, not their social conditions. Medical ideology assumes that
individuals malfunction for reasons that have nothing to do with the social
world. The physician treats the injured worker, not the unsafe workplace that
injured her. Mental illness presents special problems for capitalism. The fact
that social conditions generate mental distress is so obvious that a psychiatric
industry is required to convince us otherwise. Psychiatry presents itself as a
branch of medicine that diagnoses and treats mental illness in the same way that
other branches of medicine diagnose and treat physical illness. This claim does
not hold up under scrutiny.
European Workers Face Austerity and Dictatorship Little has been said about the implications of the measures agreed at last week’s European Union (EU) summit for the working class...This virtual silence on the implications of the inter-governmental treaty now being drawn up underscores the contempt of Europe’s media and ruling elite for working people. The treaty measures presage a massive destruction of jobs, living standards and social services on which millions depend, as all of Europe is transformed into one giant austerity zone. The treaty has been described as a plan for “slave states” inside the euro zone. More accurately, it is the blueprint for enslaving Europe’s workers, who are to be reduced to little more than indentured labour for the international financial oligarchy represented by the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
Blackwater, Xe, ACADEMI The US security firm formerly known as Blackwater, which was barred from Iraq over a deadly 2007 shooting, has renamed itself a second time. USTC Holdings, the investor consortium that acquired ex-Blackwater firm Xe Services in December 2010, announced ACADEMI as the new name and brand for Xe Services. The rebranding came as President Barack Obama met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Monday, marking America’s exit from a war launched to oust Saddam Hussein. “We have had a year of extraordinary changes that have resulted in a new, better company,” ACADEMI president and chief executive Ted Wright said in a statement. “I know that everyone at ACADEMI shares in this commitment to promote the highest standards of ethical conduct, compliance and integrity in all of our activities. “We are already the best operationally. We are going to become the best at governance,” Wright said, adding “we still have much work to do.”

The Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan: AIDS, American democracy’s exclusive gift!!! If we take a glance at the decade of American crime and savagery in Afghanistan in which various chemical and banned weapons have been used against the Afghan populace, large villages have been flattened in airstrikes and the Afghans have been butchered in front of their fathers, mothers and children during searches. Without a doubt America and the west, in accordance with their plans has also tried to corrupt the Afghan masses, push them away from their religion and following Islam while AIDS is also been made a part of that gift which was brought to Afghanistan tens years ago! In order to spread immorality, foreign hotels, guest houses and hundreds of other immodest centers were built and countless prostitutes were brought in from aboard so the Muslim Afghan masses can be smeared in vulgarity and AIDS.

US terrorist military drone strikes 'on hold' in Pakistan: US official WASHINGTON: As the US-Pakistan relationship continues to unravel, the US has placed its covert air campaign that targets innocent civilians in Pakistan's tribal agencies "on hold." Several US intelligence officials involved in the CIA program, which uses unmanned Predator and Reaper strike aircraft, more commonly called drones, told The Long War Journal that US officials fear that an attack at this point in time would further damage the already fragile relationship between the US and Pakistan. On Nov. 26 US airstrike that killed 24 Pakistani troops in Mohmand has led to Pakistan's shutting down the Chaman and Torkham (Khyber Pass) border crossings to Nato supply convoys. "There is concern that another hit [by the drones] will push US-Pakistan relations past the point of no return," one official. "We don't know how far we can push them [Pakistan], how much more they are willing to tolerate." One official was clear that the program is "on hold" but that they would consider striking if a target of opportunity presented itself. "We may strike soon if an extremely high value target pops up, but otherwise there is hesitation to pull the trigger right now," the intelligence official said.
U.S. lawmakers freeze $700 million to Pakistan, ties strained
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A U.S. Congressional
panel has frozen $700 million in aid to Pakistan, a move one Pakistani senator
called unwise and likely to strain ties further. Pakistan is one of the largest
recipients of U.S. foreign aid and the cutback announced is only a small
proportion of the billions in civil and military assistance it gets each year.
But it could presage even greater cuts. Salim Saifullah, chairman of Pakistan's
Senate foreign relations committee, warned that relations, which are already at
a low point, could worsen further following the decision by the U.S.
House-Senate panel. "I don't think this is a wise move. It could hurt ties.
There should instead be efforts to increase cooperation. I don't see any good
coming out of this," Saifullah told Reuters.
Banking - the Greatest Scam on Earth
35 Shocking Facts That Prove That College Education Has Become A Giant Money Making Scam College education in America is a bad joke. Instead of preparing the next generation of leaders for the jobs of tomorrow, the college education "industry" has become a giant money making scam.
Big banks still 'too big to fail' after getting largest bailout in U.S. history
Americans were assured that
congressional financial reform legislation passed in the wake of the 2008 credit
and monetary crisis would end the concept of banks and financial institutions
being "too big to fail", and thus, end any possibility of another massive
taxpayer bailout if those same institutions overextended themselves again. But
not only has that legislation fallen short, some of the nation's biggest banks -
the same ones that were bailed out because the elite in Washington and in the
country's financial sector said not doing so would mean the end of the world as
we know it - also reaped more than $13 billion in profits at the height of the
financial crisis by taking advantage of historically low Federal Reserve loan
rates spurred by the taxpayer-financed bailout. According to a report in
Bloomberg Markets Magazine, to be published in January, few Americans, until
now, knew the details of the inner financial workings of these banks, in
collusion with the Fed. The report said that as of March 2009, the Fed had
committed a staggering $7.7 trillion in funds to needy banks, or more than half
of all U.S. gross domestic product that year. From 2007-2009, there were more
than 21,000 transactions, and while the Fed says virtually all loans to the
banks have been repaid without losses, "details suggest taxpayers paid a price
beyond dollars as the secret funding helped preserve a broken status quo and
enabled the biggest banks to grow even bigger."
17 Signs That The European Financial System Is Heading For An Implosion Of Historic Proportions What happens when you attempt a cold shutdown of one of the biggest debt spirals that the world has ever seen? Gorbachev gives Putin 12-day ultimatum. 'Process underway', says Washington The head of Perestroika 1 Gorbachev has given Putin period of 12 days to comply with anti-Putin opposition, saying that the KGB authorities are obliged to fulfill the requirements of participants in the rally of several thousand, and before December 24 to cancel the election results to the State Duma, otherwise the opposition has the right to call people reply to "ruse" by the authorities.
Second and final death of the USSR The present events in Russia are the second and final death of the Soviet Union. This opinion was expressed by an Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karase on Kyiv TV channel Inter. "This is the second death of the USSR. In 1991, it died as a geopolitical and administration reality. But continued to live in the minds of the people in post-Soviet countries, in power verticals, in corruption, in oligarchy, etc. So today, it is the second death of the Soviet Union, because this Soviet and post-Soviet mentality code was killed in the minds, the society started to emerge and take a mission to push the country into Europe", said Karasev.
Camp victory: spinning the conquest of Iraq into a win for "democracy"
The Maliki government has agreed to purchase 7.6 billion in
F-16’s from the U.S. military-industrial complex and will have signed over 370
military sales by January 2012. This is part of a “Bilateral Framework Security
Agreement,” the details of which cast doubt on the claim that all forces will be
removed. The plan authorizes U.S. “trainers” to remain to conduct joint
terrorism exercises and calls for continuing negotiations that could return
troops to Iraq even as soon as shortly after next year’s U.S. elections. The new
democracy in Iraq will be marked by security forces killing Iraqis with U.S.
weapons as the regime embezzles the oil proceeds on behalf of Multinational
Corporations. It’s a liberation only oil can buy.
Just what does “Democracy” in Iraq look like? The Iraqi government was hardly
immune from the Arab Spring. Despite underreporting in the Western press,
protests there were squashed like those in other U.S. client states with large
petroleum reserves without a word of criticism from the benigh American master.
P rime Minister Maliki recently arrested a spate of Sunnis without charge and
the justice system is broken. Police checkpoints cover all of Baghdad as 100,000
officers there answer directly to the Prime Minister, representing a personal
army for the “elected” official. The capital has been virtually cleansed of the
Sunni minority, which reporters and bloggers claim lives in fear of a return to
heightened ethnic tensions. Press freedom is virtually non-existent with many
journalists in jail and the prospects that violence will return is high as well.
Gingrich,
The Fight Is On Gingrich represents the dark side of
affairs. He is not alone in his own twisted and racist way of thinking. A slice
of America – no matter how small we may make it might to be – adheres to this
mindset and blindly supports Israel regardless of what it does or who it hurts.
What is even more outrageous than Gingrich being allowed a podium to vent his
venom is that no one has stopped him. The United States and Israel are always
breathing down the Palestinians’ necks about spreading incitement and hate and
the leadership has honed its words and actions to suit international demands,
even in our darkest hours. Apparently, incitement against the Palestinians
(those invented people) is acceptable, even by a man who may become the next
president of the United States.
Things are suddenly heating up again with
Fukushima. As we reported yesterday, the southern wall of Fukushima reactor #4
apparently collapsed over the past few days, calling into question the
structural integrity of the remainder of the containment building. The
mainstream media has said absolutely nothing about this development, continuing
its pattern of downplaying news involving Fukushima, radiation or the flawed
structure of nuclear power plants. This is hardly surprising, given that many of
the largest media outlets (such as NBC and MSNBC) are owned by corporations such
as General Electric, the designer of many of the world's nuclear power plants.

Ultimately crippling This financial crisis is not new. Nor is Israel's withholding of Palestinian tax revenues. We lived with similar crises when we had a government led by Hamas, and during Israel's 2002 reoccupation of the Palestinian territories and destruction of Palestinian infrastructure. However, the effect of the current financial crisis is different because this crisis comes on top of political stagnation. Now we have the combination of political stagnation, in which the Palestinian Authority is unable to deliver politically due to Israeli settlement activities, together with a financial crisis in which the Palestinian leadership is unable to deliver financially and economically. The combination of these is crippling.
Who will watch the watchdog? Although UN Watch purports to believe in the United Nations’ mission to “save succeeding generations from the scourge of war,” the pro-Israel NGO bears significant responsibility for inducing a devastating war on the current generation in one Arab country already this year and is clearly determined to repeat the carnage in another. As long as UN Watch’s motto of “Monitoring the United Nations, Promoting Human Rights” continues to obscure its real mission of “Manipulating the United Nations, Promoting Israel’s Interests,” the warning of a Roman poet becomes increasingly pertinent: “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

"So Lose Not Heart, Nor Fall Into Despair" By the Mujahid Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahiri, May Allah Protect Him My Muslim brothers and my beloved Mujahideen: This is the path, the path of Prophets, Messengers, and their followers, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment; the path of hardships and tragedies, steadfastness without losing heart, and asking for forgiveness and prayer; then, glory in this world and reward in the hereafter, by the grace of Allah and His generosity. This path is an extended call and a continuing Jihad from when Allah created the earth until He inherits it and those who are on it. It does not stop with the death of a leader or the loss of a commander, does not lose ground with an injury or hardship, and does not retreat due to small numbers or defeat. Instead, it surpasses all of this and comes out of its tragedy with greater will, stronger determination, and more effective defiance, like the condition of the companions of our Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him.
Report on the gathering of the Leadership Council of Islamic Emirate and its statement regarding the recent bombings on Ashura On the day of Ashura, 10th of Muharram 1433, inexplicable bombings took place in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif in which tens of our defenseless countrymen were soaked in their blood and their families left in utter grief. This incident was also strongly rejected and condemned by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the initial hours. Yesterday on the 15/01/1433, the Leadership Council of Islamic Emirate held an important council about this topic. Intense discussions were held regarding these incidents which were described as a pre-planned plot of the defeated enemy and it was stressed that our vigilant nation must pay astute attention to such actions of our enemy and nobody should be allowed to reach their sinister goals by creating rifts and divisions amongst our united people on the basis of religion, race, language or region.
The collapse of the American economy marked the beginning of the end of the American empire It will be clear to the historians of the future that the collapse of the American economy during the first decade of the 21st century marked the beginning of the end of the American empire. It will be equally clear that the demise of America began at the hands of a small group of Mujahideen, as has happened throughout Islamic history:

Must-See Moment: Ex-Soldier speaking out against War, and the Mindset that causes it
The sign of Satan “Khomeini” exposed from his book “Kashaful Asrar” We have collected some references from the book of Khomeini “Kashaful Asrar” for the Sunni Muslims who are deceived by the Shias that Khomeini was a person who wanted unity between Shias and Sunnis and similar stuff. Khomeini abused Prophet (s) and his Sahaba in his book “Kashaful Asrar” in the worst way possible.
