Independence of Islamic Emirate in its decision-making

If actions are standards for recognizing and testing someone, then Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has repeatedly passed this benchmark in the past one and a half decade but despite all of this, the enemy has never seized its hands from spreading poisonous propaganda against it.

When our beloved country was drowning under warlords and feudalism, there was not a single person concerned with rescuing its people. Tens of innocent Afghans were martyred by these gunmen everyday while their honor and wealth were in constant danger, so it was these same members of Islamic Emirate who delivered this country from this calamity and protected the lives, wealth and honor of the ordinary people. But the opposition and the self-interested elements, instead of backing Islamic Emirate which was their national duty, turned towards propaganda, depicting the Islamic movement of Taliban a creation of west, backed and supported by the neighboring country.

As the Islamic Emirate engaged in a decade long struggle against the sole super power of the world for its independence, Islamic identity and for the protection of its national values and went head to head with its Afghan courage and Islamic fervor against all the invaders, the opposition were forced to reconsider their allegations about western ties but at the same time it reinforced its claims about connection of Islamic Emirate with the neighboring countries and asserted that it has no independence in shaping its policies and decision-making. But now, this claim has also been refuted and proven false. With its own political thinking, Islamic Emirate proved its complete independence in its decision-making and will keep proving it but even with this, the opposition is still bent on hurling more accusations against Islamic Emirate which even surface in the media every now and then.

We must say that national interests and Islamic principles are the guiding tenants which shape the policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Through this means it wants to establish a government in Afghanistan beautified by an Islamic system, education and economic advancement. It is for this purpose that all the offices of Islamic Emirate under the leadership of the Commander of the Faithful (may Allah protect him) are working in coordination to bolster each other.

Islamic Emirate also wants to establish relations with others in the light of Islamic principles and its national interests where it does not pose a danger to anyone nor does it let others interfere in its country. This has been the clear-cut policy of Islamic Emirate since its emergence. We firmly believe that, Allah willing, Islamic Emirate will also come out victories in this trial as it did in the previous one because its intentions and actions are both in accordance with and for the benefit of its people and Islamic aspirations.

Similarly, the past ten years has also been a good lesson for the world. They wanted to completely eradicate Islamic Emirate but everyone can see that the result has turned out quite the opposite. Even in midst of all these harsh conditions, Islamic Emirate has not only came out triumphant but it has also matured in shaping its policies and decision-making; it strengthened and extended its bonds amongst its people and it also proved that it can not be defeated militarily.

It is not far, if Allah wills it, that the Islamic Emirate will realize its goal of establishing an independent and Islamic government with Allah’s special favor and with the backing of its Mujahid nation.
