Remarks of the Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Regarding
the Killing of the British Soldier
Shaaban 02, 1432 A.H, Monday, July 05, 2011
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate
inflicted heavy losses on the enemy during an armed
confrontation in Kufaki area of Lashkargah, the provincial
capital of Helmand province on Monday last. Consequently, the
Mujahideen captured a British soldier with his weapon and
other military hardware.
To avoid the humiliation as a result of the incident, the
invading American and British forces based in south
Afghanistan concentrated their aerial reserve force on the
said area, launching heavy aerial and ground attacks. In
addition to this, the enemy turned to arresting, killing and
searching civilian’s houses in order to locate the soldier.
To wrench the pretext from the hands of the enemy which they
used for their on going atrocities, the Islamic Emirate had no
way but to implement article 13 of the Code of Conduct of
Mujahideen and killed the British soldier.
We would like to say that last year, self-same conduct of the
invading forces compelled Mujahideen to kill the American
soldiers who had been captured by them.
The foreign invading forces which are gloating at their
military power do not condescend to take the ground realities
into account but, contrarily, they want to sustain their
arrogant domineer. Often, this leads to causing them loss.
Even, they do not care about the life of their captured
soldier but only aim at covering up their fiasco. Even they
take for granted the lives of the Afghans defenseless
civilians in order to hide their defeat. However, as a result
of such conduct of the invaders, their soldier usually loses
his life.
Had the British government realized the ground reality that
capturing of a soldier is part and parcel of the war, they can
be exchanged with war prisoners later on, then the said
soldier would have been released through prisoners exchange
like the two French nationals.
We can say the British prime Minister acted under the
impression of his military commanders and wasted the life of
his soldier because of a headlong and irrational venture.
