According to latest reports, the senate of Kazakhstan blocked the bill sent for approval last month by the country’s parliament which, in agreement with America, would have sent a number of its country’s troops to Afghanistan. The senate took this step against the bill after a number of Kazakhstan’s regional media outlets raised their voices through petitions signed by 112 thousand household members and maimed affectes from the Soviet Union war, who disapproved of their troops being sent and called this act a betrayal against its nation, people and neighboring country. This is what compelled Kazakhstan’s Senate to block the endorsement of this bill and in this way responded in the positive to its peoples demands and the majority agreed that no soldier will be allowed to operation in war theaters outside its borders.

It should be reminded that Kazakhstan’s leadership had reached an agreement with America last May the 17^th to send a couple of hundred of its soldiers to Afghanistan, to which a reaction was shown by the head of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan through a published statement which pointed out to the government of Kazakhstan the defects in this agreement such as: sending troops to its neighboring country for the advancement of America’s interests, taking part in the American occupation of our country and historically, to fan the flames of enmity between two neighboring countries which plays right into the hands of American strategy of creating rifts between two brotherly and Muslim countries and in the long term, an entrapment in hardships.

We welcome this move by the senate of Kazakhstan and the thousands of its countrymen who gave preference to the everlasting fellowship between the people of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan and their neighborly brotherhood over the short term happiness of America and after taking into account the volatility of this region, it halted and rejected America’s satanic plan for a couple of million dollar aid and instead chose the friendship of the people of Afghanistan. It is hoped that this country and its people will also take a stand against those places in their country which America exploits and uses against the people of Afghanistan. Like how it used its constitution to block any Kazakh soldiers from entering Afghanistan, it should also stand against the American bases in its country and bring them to an end.
