Christian Zionists who do they represent
The Patriarchs, Bishops and Head of the Church Churches in the Middle East and in Jerusalem are the sole representatives of the Christians of the Middle East and not the so callled 'Christian Zionists".
The so called "Christian Zionists" do not represent in any way the Christians of the Middle East. They did never in any time represent us, Christians of the Midle East.On the contrary, the Head of Christian Churches of the Middle East and in Jerusalem (Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican and Protestant) consider those Chistian Zionists as "Christian-Zionist fundamentalist group", in fact:
1- At the international Conference in Jerusalem, sponsored by Sabeel, Liberation theology Center in Jerusalem, the Head of Christian Churches of the Middle East and in Jerusalem and all the Churches represented at the International Conference repudiated the ideology of those "Christian Zionists" and their activities and condemned the so called "Christian embassy in Jerusalem".
2- The Arab Christians lived centuries of peace and harmony with their blood brothers the Muslim Arabs and the Jews, the Semites, sons and daughters of Abraham. They have with them common traditions and heritage.
3- The Jews remember that when they were persecuted in Europe, they were welcomed in the Middle East and lived a prospruous life in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Marocco, Tunisia, Lybia, Iran and especially in Palestine. Many of our Jewish friends and old people recall those days.
4- They became the ennemis of Arabs (Christians and Muslim especially in Palestine) when they took our lands, traditions, and even food and claimed that Palestine is theirs, exclusivly for them and pretend that they can confiscate the Arab lands because God gave them this land. They were supported by the so called Christian Zionists from all over the world. Those claims are not supported by the Bible, it is supported by a zionist fundamentalist interpratation of the Bible. In fact Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans and Protestants do not support that mistaken interpretation.
5- The Arab Chistians and Muslims see on those claims a war against their lives and the future of their future generations. They asked and ask the world to work for JUSTICE and PEACE. God cannot be the GOD of JUSTICE if HE gives a land to a people depriving another people of its fundamental and human rights. God, Allah, Adonai Yahweh is one for all. He cannot be an exclusive god. He The Holy ONE, Creator of all peoples.
6- Our Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith teach us that "there is no difference in God's eyes between Jew and Palestinian, between Arab and foreigner. God is the creator of all. As beleivers in one God, we plainly state that all must live under the same law...We beleive that God is the God of JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS. God does not accept opression, but calls on all of us as memebers of one human family, Arabs and Jews, to make justice and to love righteousness. 7- We refuse the logic then of any fundamental group, Jewish, Christian or Muslim. Those fundamentalists do not represent those good people who want and desire to live in peace and justice. So, please, do not listen to them, do not give them chance to pretend that they are the "PEOPLE OF THE BOOK". The Book or the books do not call for injustices, opression and the supremacy of a people or a religion over an other. "The effect of justice will be peace and the result of justice, quietness and security forever" Isaiah 32:17. And justice is not for one people or one religion, it is for all.
8- You need to listen to those who are the right and true sources of information, those who speak about Justice and Peace, those Churches of the Middle East and their human rights organizations that do not make difference between Jews, Christians and Muslims, those who lived for centuries in the Land of our Fathers.
