Praise is to Allah, by Whose grace all good deeds are accomplished; He has created in this Ummah groups that are established upon the Truth, defending the religion of Allah and protecting its purity until the Day of Resurrection; and peace and prayers be upon the Messenger of Allah who has transmitted this religion and left us on the way and clear path that guides us to the realization of worship of Allah on earth, and declaring His Religion, even if the infidels hate it:

“It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of Truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikeen (polytheists) hate (it)”. [at-Tawba: 33].

Thereafter:

It is well known that the fortunes of war fluctuate: sometimes they favor us and sometimes they oppose us. It is the practice of Allah Almighty that people are to push one another in war; regardless of how near or far this party or that is from Truth, because Allah the Almighty has great wisdom in diverting from or delaying victory for some group of people even if they meet the full conditions of victory. Allah the Exalted may give victory to the people of falsehood − temporarily − and grant them dominance over the people of Truth to test the latter and see how they would act. This defeat is in itself a gift in the form of an affliction which Allah grants His servants to allow them to review themselves and correct their paths in order to deserve the aid and assistance of Allah, and to preserve the victory they would attain afterwards.

As for our deep, farsighted and correct concept of victory and empowerment, it is not only related to material empowerment on earth; rather it begins first inside the soul with transcending faith,

“So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you are the superior if you are (true) believers”. [Al-i-Imran: 139]. Secondly, it passes through steadfastness in principle and adherence to the straight path in which we believe and work towards implementing on earth,

“So stand firm and straight as you are commanded and those who turn in repentance (unto Allah) with you”. [Hud: 112]. Thirdly, through continuous sincere Jihad for the sake of Allah Almighty, no matter how many are the sacrifices or the afflictions that we may meet on the way.

“Carry out Jihad in the cause of Allah in a way that is due to Him”. [al-Hajj: 78].

And last, but not the least, through working towards the consolidation of the religion of Allah, and making His Word supreme, and rendering His Shari’ah victorious over all other doctrines.

Breaking The Moral Barriers Before The Physical (Barriers)

In order to accomplish that victory, there is a need to pave the way, the way of Da’wa and Jihad; through eliminating many of the barriers – both physical and moral together. Among these barriers and the greatest of them, is the barrier of fear and dread of the enemy, which is in fact fear of death and a craving for life. We have handled that issue in an independent article. Allah the Almighty focuses on that in His words:

“Verily, it is only Satan that suggests to you the fear of his Auliya' (supporters and friends), so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers”. So the true believer fears only Allah; he or she doesn’t fear other humans, because they are related but to Satan.

Allah has promised us victory over the enemies. He has made clear to us the signs of the path that must be followed. He also revealed to us the truth about the enemies and the extent of their weakness and degradation, and their inability to even resist the Truth, let alone defeat it.

“…and Allah will by no means give the unbelievers a way against the believers”. [al-Nisa’: 141]. What remains is our duty to follow and submit to His commands.

The Almighty said,

“Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of idols. Fight therefore against the friends of the Satan; surely the cunning of the Satan is weak”, the true picture and worth of the enemy becomes clear as weak, because it obtains its strength from the cunning of Satan. The cunning of Satan could never deceive the upright servants of Allah,

“Verily, you have no power over My servants”. The equation is thus bright and clear, and the result is brighter and clearer “for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and earnestly witnesses (the truth)”.The cunning of Shaitan is weak, then what about his followers and supporters!

Our Priorities And Their Priorities

It is of our duty as well to arrange the enemies according to their importance and danger against the Da’wa, we must benefit from the previous experiences of the believers in their confrontations with those enemies, so as not to exhaust our strength uselessly in marginal battles or against enemies of second or third degrees, and thereby neglecting the head of kufr and the spearhead that provides the others with elements of power and subsistence.

Our duty today − before entering into battle against the enemy − is to classify the stages and triage the opponents. I believe that the Zionist-Crusader alliance constitutes the spearhead, followed by the apostate regimes that are crouching over the necks of Muslims in our countries. They are followed by all the parties and sects that are loyal to them.

We see how they assaulted us through gates from every direction, to make us bow before their will, and to force their religion upon us, and to suck away our wealth and corrupt our sons and women. They do not even refrain from declaring that publicly, under the pretext of fighting “Islamic terrorism” which implies for us the Jihad in the cause of Allah; whether for defending our honor, our resources and our faith, i.e. the Defensive Jihad; or seeking those enemies inside their own grounds to spread the call of Allah and removing people from the worship of humans to worship of Allah only, i.e. the Offensive Jihad.

They have arranged their priorities in this invasion, and targeted the vanguards of Mujahideen everywhere. They also laid siege to the active Islamic scholars, by putting them in prison and killing them;

“Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah”. [al-Anfal: 30].

They have spent in this cause incalculable human and material resources. Their top most priority has been what they called “drying up the springs of terrorism” especially at the economic level where they have confiscated all the projects that were intended to finance the blessed Da’wa and Jihad. However, Allah the Almighty has given us glad tidings that all of that will be of no avail, and they will not reap through it anything but a mirage;

“Surely those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (people) from the way of Allah; so they shall spend it, then it shall be to them an intense regret, then they shall be overcome; and those who disbelieve shall be driven together to hell”. [Al-Anfal: 36].

The second of their priorities is to change the educational curriculum in our countries; and that is through drying up the well-springs of awareness and in-depth study of religion; it has become obligatory to impose an infidel educational and cultural curriculum, in order to drive our children away from the genuine spring. And we have seen them employ soldiers of hypocrite scholars, and innovational groups to spread the religion of the taghut and repel people from the religion of Allah.

In order to confront this plot, we must remain alert, and assault them through the door of Da’wa. For their goods, by Allah, have become stale and no longer have any value in the field, after the convoys of divine preachers − though few − entered the stage. They extinguished their magic and thwarted their plots through presenting appropriate arguments and clarifications, and declaring the Truth in all situations. Jihad, by declaration as ordered by Allah the Almighty, “...to make clear to people and not to conceal it”; “...to be free from blame before their Lord, and that haply they may guard against evil”; to make Truth manifest and to make falsehood obsolete.

We have seen the fruits of this blessed Da’wa − despite the cunning of the plotters and the siege imposed by those oppressors upon those preachers for Allah − fruits that became clear in that deep awareness and rising zeal in the hearts of Muslims, especially among the youth. And now we can see them joining and embracing − individuals and groups − those Islamic scholars, taking directions and the judicious fatwas from them, to revive this Ummah again, and enter the battlefield of struggle in confronting the people of falsehood, leaving behind them all the pleasures of life and freeing themselves of their hindrances and chains. Among them are those who have migrated to the fields of confrontation far from their own countries, and among them are those who established a structure inside their homelands and started to work towards smashing falsehood and building the lofty tower of Truth.

The most outstanding characteristics of these blessed groups, who are confronting falsehood everywhere, are courage and a disregard of fear of the enemy; and the field of Da’wa is not less important than the other fields of struggle; on the contrary, it is the most important field and the major starting point for Jihadist actions. How can we start Jihadist operations without soldiers or without preparation and education? And is the field of Da’wa anything other than this or that?!

Enter Upon Them Through The Gate

We are required now and more than ever before, to march forth with the boldness to enter wars, to plunge into difficulties, and to break all the real or imagined chains. Perhaps this is the beginning of overturning the image of the struggle between us and our enemies, for we have assumed positions of attack and assault rather than postures of defense and awe. The enemy has started to give us a thousand considerations, and watches out for our attacks all the time. The operation has started by the grace of Allah and will not stop until it attains all of its goals.

The complete awakening that has recently occurred among our people in the lands of Qairawan (Tunisia), the lands of Kananah (Egypt), the lands of Awras (Libya), and in Yemen is but an unmistakable result of the pressure that can generate an explosion at any time. Our people have been suffering from oppression, injustice, and exploitation since what has falsely been called “the post-independence era”. It was in fact the beginning of the real occupation of these people at the hands of tyrant regimes that exploited these people due to their ignorance and their excessive trust in those evil secular regimes which donned the cloak of religion to exploit these peoples, so they can crouch over their necks and resources for decades.

These people decided without any prior warning to break the barrier of fear and awe of the enemy. They succeeded in destroying that great, imaginary idol, and started to present some sacrifices in the way of truth and removing injustice and oppression. That was the blood of their sons, to wash off by it the years of humiliation, disgrace, submissiveness, and bowing to the those who were unjust.

This will be the first and decisive step on the path of freedom and liberation from the servitude to tyrants. It must be taken in order to proceed on the right path. It is also necessary to purify the money through Zakah so that Allah blesses and increases it.

The revolution of the people in their search for the Truth needs to undergo sacrifices, anguish and pain; and on the way they will correct their path and benefit from their mistakes, and invest these sacrifices towards their great sublime goal.

What is important at the outset is to break those moral barriers which have chained them for decades, and made them distance themselves from all change, and made them think that those regimes are their unavoidable fate that can never be changed. After that all the stages will become easier and matters will be simplified, and these people will be able to break down all other barriers and obstacles.

How many are the gates of the enemy! And how easy is it to break through them if we choose the best means, men and time of action. How feeble are the groups of the enemies, and how weak are their means of defense if we understand their flaws and their contradictions. They are humans, they feel pain the way we feel it, and they are beset by fear the same way it attacks us, and they care for their interests and lives the way we do. Why then do our people ignore such facts and axioms, and surrender to the insinuations of Satan and fall into his snares?

The enemy has devoted himself to controlling us primarily by the use of psychological warfare. They begin with implanting insinuations and dispiriting thoughts in our hearts, so that we become defeated before the actual war starts. In fact we leave the battleground and open other doors for them without resistance, and in the beginning surrender to them whatever they need of our will, then surrendering our wealth, our honor, and finally our Islamic creed.

The Battlegrounds Of Jihad Was The Spark

We cannot deny the role of the Mujahideen in all the different fields of confrontations with the enemies in planting this spirit among our Muslim people, beginning with the Afghan battleground, then Palestine and the Balkans, and then Chechnya and Iraq, Algeria, Somalia and other heated areas.

This was during the last four decades, precisely the time of the beginning of Jihad in the lands of Afghanistan, where the breaking of those psychological barriers started. It was the first successful experience to repel infidel aggression against the lands of Islam, despite the fact that they assaulted us through the gates, to occupy the land and the people. This intrusion turned out to be the motivating force for the Mujahideen vanguards everywhere, and the best experience for the Mujahideen on the actual battleground where they gave the sharp proof that the attacks of the enemies do not mean that they will be victorious; rather their defeat in our homelands would be harder upon them than the defeat they could expect in any other land. In our homelands we drag the enemies to places of destruction, while we know how to direct battles and control their course.

Our people have benefited from all these experiences, because they have been following them closely. They have sought inspiration in these experiences by the meanings of patience, courage, and fearlessness and have at last been able to expose the reality of those corrupt regimes who are followers of the Crusaders; so the spark of anger burst out amongst them, and they started to revolt against injustice, and believe in victory, and make the scale of Truth outweigh falsehood in all its spectres and species.

The Muslims learned through the experience of Afghanistan, and later in the Balkans and the Caucasus, that the assault of the infidels upon them in their homelands contains much good. It reveals the truth about those enemies and their points of weakness, and makes the vulnerabilities to be focused upon in the following battles very clear. The enemies also bring for us their equipment and weapons, and are saving us the effort to search for them as well as the money and the means of transporting them in order to obtain them. This intrusion also pushes the Muslims to think of assaulting the enemies, and paying them back twofold.

The Jihadist factions have hastened to implement the Words of Allah:

“Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it you shall surely be victorious, and on Allah should you rely if you are believers”. [al-Maidah: 23].

Then came the blessed convoys that preceded the two expeditions of New York and Washington, similar to the convoys that preceded the great battle of Badr at the time of the Messenger of Allah (prayers and peace be upon him). So the great assault took place through the greatest gate against the head of infidelity embodied in the aforementioned expedition; and the infidels were thunderstruck, and the promise of victory of Allah Almighty for Muslims was accomplished. “You shall surely be victorious”. This has been emphasized and assured by Allah Almighty.

Here are the Muslim people inspiring themselves by this initiative and marching forth against the apostate regimes, passing through the door of fear which they have broken, and through the door of awe which they have destroyed; leaving the regimes without their major weapon, and their armies of police, spies, informants, and journalists have become useless to them; as well as the plundered wealth of the people, which they tried to use to buy the minds of the people, as the latter are now only focused upon freedom and restoring their stolen honor. Instead they have offered many of their sons as the price towards this deal and would not retire no matter how great the sacrifice becomes.

The lesson that we need to learn from this kind of revival and explosion, is that the revolution of the peoples is very similar to the flood that cannot be stopped until it sweeps away all that is in its path, or the fire that consumes both the verdant and the barren land.

What is required of us is to leave this flood to run its course and reach its goal, and leave that big fire to consume everything in its path, and to devour all the dross and scum around it; then we should try to arrange matters according to the obtained results, and we will know how to deal with new developments on the ground; and we admit that what has happened was undoubtedly full of much goodness; and that what has been removed from the way is good for the path of Truth, and had to be eliminated; and that these people are among the soldiers of Allah through which He realizes His decree and fate.

The fruits are undoubtedly many, amongst the foremost of which is the collapse of the fear of the enemy in the hearts of Muslims. It has become clear to all the people that the enemies are worth nothing even on the material scales, despite their ample weapons and equipments; and that the people who possess will and are ready for sacrifices are capable of defeating these arrogant enemies and overpowering them. So what do you think then if these people are Muslims who put their trust in Allah, and meet the conditions of victory in terms of preparation, organization and discipline?! What is happening today in Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and others of our occupied countries, of uprising of the people, and their rejection of injustice, oppression, and transgression, is but one of the fruits and the graces of the blessed Jihad, which is led by the al-Qaeda al-Jihad Organization along with the other Jihadist groups everywhere, even if these people do not admit it.

And this indicates that America and its allies from the apostate regimes have not yet absorbed the lessons that the Mujahideen have been teaching them everywhere, especially in the recent years; and I do not think they will understand them before their inevitable fall and complete collapse. Their sight and vision have been blinded and here they are, leading their soldiers to certain and inescapable drowning, the same way Pharaoh did with his soldiers and their people will throw them into the dunghills of history, and they will enter it through its wide doors with no one to feel sorry for them. History repeats itself, and I can see that the hour of decision is near, and that the promise of Allah for His servants and His threat to His enemies is at the doorstep. So, we should not delay breaking into the doors upon those haughty and rash enemies.

We should place before our eyes the fact that the victory of Allah is coming by all means, and that victory is for His believing servants, no matter how strong and mighty the enemies appear to us. It will not take long for the truth to appear on the battlegrounds. The truth is that they are weak and cowardly, taking their strength from our weakness and from our fear and reverence for them; but when they find in front of them those who only fear Allah and look forward to martyrdom, they will then turn into rabbits and they will start to retreat to get out of the trouble into which they have fallen. This would mostly be through starting more wars and new battlefronts to exhaust themselves even more, and to destroy their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers.

We beseech Allah Almighty to render us His tools to fulfill His promise, and to grant us from the power of defense and to trust well in Him, to assault our enemies by their gates; so that we can render His religion victorious and raise His banner high. “They can see it far, and we can see it near”. Peace and prayers be upon our master Muhammad, upon his family, his companions, and all they who prove loyal to him.
