Signs Of Shaheed On The Densus 88 Shooting Victims In Cawang

JAKARTA
- At last, the two
unidentified janazas shot by the
Densus 88 in Cawang, East Jakarta, were buried on
Tuesday (8/5/2010). Without any party knowing the
families of the two janazas, including the
police who shot them both to death on the allegation
that they were terrorists.
The Public Relations Division Head of Polri,
Inspector General Edward Aritonang said that the
medical team and Polri investigators had to bury the
two jasads of the terrorism suspects whose
identities until now are still unknown.
"It has been almost a month and no member of the
family has yet come forward to claim the janazas
that the investigators and medical team have to bury
them today," he said from Jakarta, Tuesday
(8/5/2010).
At 09.00 hour, the reporters from voa-islam arrived
at the TPU (Public Cemetery) Pondok Ranggon, East
Jakarta, but there was no sign that there would be a
funeral of the janazas. The caretaker of
the cemetery did not know whether there would be any
funeral for the two unidentified janazas.
When asked about the plan of the funeral for the two
unidentified janazas, Pandi, one of the
persons who manages the cemetery explained that
there was no agenda for the funeral. "There is
no plan for the burial of the two janazas today,"
he answered.

However, not long after that, the phone in the office
of TPU Pondok Ranggon rang. Then, he returned and told
us that he had just received a phone call from the
police, who informed them that there would be a
funeral on that day. Thus, the digging of the grave
was carried out at block AB, adjacent to the graves of
Syaifudin Zuhri
and Muhammad Syahrir which are only
about 15 Meters from the grave of
Ibrahim
who was shot by the Densus in Temanggung, Central
Java.
After the Zuhr prayer, after a few hours of
waiting, the procession in 2 automobiles carrying the
janazas arrived at around 13.00 hour. The
procession which was guarded by the police stopped by
the two newly dug graves. The burial process was
performed by around 30 sympathizers who took part in
sending off the two unidentified janazas to
their final resting places.
The processes of the burial were performed one after
another, in accordance with the serial number given by
the police. The first coffin, which was given the name
MR. X-I/CWG/0001, was moved out from the automobile
and then the janaza was taken out and in line
with the shar'iah of Islam, the janaza
was buried without the coffin. The same process was
done for the second janaza, which was given
the identity MR. X-I/CWG/0002 by the police.

The moments both janazas
were taken out from the coffins, the sympathizers who
lowered them into the grave observed some kind of
miracle which was believed as a sign of their
shaheed (martyrdom). On the first janaza
(MR. X-I/CWG/0001), it was clearly seen that the blood
was still flowing from the back of the head that
seeped through the fabric. Meanwhile, on the second
janaza (MR. X-I/CWG/0002) blood could be seen
still flowing from the back of the head and buttock.
Ustadz Syamsuddin Uba, one of the sympathizers who was
involved in administering the funerals of both
janazas, without a bit of doubt, bore witness to
the signs of shaheed on the two janazas.
"Indeed, we have been used to taking care of
janazas, whether they are babies, children or adults,
starting from the washing, through the funeral prayer,
to the burial. To the point that we can differentiate
between the janaza of a Mujahid from the janaza of a
general public," he said.
This activist Ustadz from the Gerakan Pemuda Islam/Islamic
Youth Movement (GPI) said that the martyrdom of the
two janazas was indicated from the blood that
was still flowing, whereas the two of them had been
dead since a month ago.
"When we washed the two janazas, we witnessed,
Subhanallah! Their blood was still flowing from their
heads, whereas, it has been almost a month that the
two janazas were kept in the casket," Ustadz
Syamsuddin said.
With
that indications of shaheed, Ustadz Syam
affirmed that both of the janazas are not
terrorists, but Mujahids.
"In Islam, what's called terrorists are the people
who are fighting against Allah and His Rasul, whereas,
they are Mujahids who were defending Allah and His Rasul,"
he explained.
Both of the still unidentified janazas were
shot by the Densus 88 Antiterror in Cililitan, East
Jakarta (12/5/2010). One other janaza who was
shot to death was
Maulana. The janaza of Maulana had
been buried in Sawangan, Depok, West Java by his
family.
The funeral procession of the two janazas was
not attended by the relatives as no one had come
forward and claimed to know them, though their photos
had been publicized by the police. The Densus 88 who
shot them on the allegation that they were terrorists
also do not know the figures whom they had killed.
There was no explanation whatsoever from the Mabes
Polri (Police Main Headquarters) on the murder of the
two unidentified individuals. The police could only
call them terrorists.
The two janazas, who were buried in the
graves with no identity, also could not dispute the
allegation made by the police (that they are
terrorists). It is through the blood that was still
flowing (despite being dead for a month) that they
gestured.
