I seek protection of Allah from the accursed Satan

“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah [i.e. they have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting), and showed not their backs to the disbelievers], of them some have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred), and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed [i.e., they never proved treacherous to their covenant which they concluded with Allah] in the least.” (Surah Al-Ahzab: 23)

Sheikh Mustafa Abul Yazid: Condolences & Congratulations to the Ummah for the Martyrdom of Amir Baitullah Mehsud

In the name of Allah, & all praises are due to Allah.

Salutations & Peace on the Messenger of Allah.

We offer our condolences to the Muslim Ummah on the death of its courageous and unmatched leader BaituLLah Mehsood, and at the same time congratulate it, since Allah bestowed him with the best of the endings (to his life) that is; Martyrdom for the sake of Allah. Indeed, this great leader of the Ummah was among those who fulfilled their promise with Allah. Allah says, translation of which is;

"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah [i.e. they have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting), and showed not their backs to the disbelievers], of them some have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred), and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed [i.e., they never proved treacherous to their covenant which they concluded with Allah] in the least." (Surah Al-Ahzab: 23)

We especially condole and congratulate the Muslims of Pakistan and Afghanistan and tribal areas, & particularly the people of Mehsood tribe for the martyrdom of their noble son, brave leader & Ameer; Baitullah Mehsood (May Allah have mercy on him). May Allah accept his martyrdom and place him in highest of the Paradise; Al-Firdaus.

"Verily, we belong to God and surely unto Him we shall return".

Oh Allah! Give us patience during this calamity and provide us with a better successor.

Whatever Allah took back from us belonged to Him alone, and whatever He has bestowed on us belongs to Him too. HE (Allah) has fixed a time for everything. We must have patience and should place our hopes only in Allah.

The respected leader Baitullah Mehsood began his (voyage/education) by earning knowledge of the pure Shariah. He learned this holy knowledge till a certain point. Since the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan after its establishment required the assistance of brave youth of his ilk for its influence and strength, & to deal with the enemy attacks from northern Afghanistan. Therefore, in his youth he joined the ranks of Taliban Mujahideen fighting under the leadership of Mullah Mohammed Omar (may Allah protect him).

Amir Baitullah was a lion-hearted and a far-sighted Mujahid. He used to train the youth of his tribe to fight the enemies of Islam in Afghanistan & Pakistan, and also took special pains to carry out their tarbiyyah (groomed their religious ideology). Moreover, he had the courage & a will to kill the infidels in their very homes. I myself heard him saying, "I want to go to America and attack at its heart, to cure their arrogance and high headedness".

Allah has honored the Mehsood tribe with the quality to assist the recent Jihad, and with the ability to physically participate in it. The areas that were formerly plunged into the depth & darkness of ignorance & mischief, and were dwelling places for bandits; now by grace of Allah, there is an exemplary peace there, and this land enlightened & glowing with the light of Shariah is turned into a safe sanctuary & fortress for Mujahideen, and a pinnacle of hope for the Muslim Ummah.

These crucial changes came about with the sweat and the blood of pious Mujahideen and their leader Baitullah Mehsood. Allah has bestowed another favor upon this tribe & that is; most of the Martyrs are from among them. To gain Martyrdom in the path of Allah has become the greatest wish of youth of this tribe, this is purely due to blessing of Allah, and then owing to the training, bravery, pious exemplary life, and high character of their beloved leader; Baitullah Mehsood. Amir Baitullah (may have mercy on him) had quite a respectable and dignified personality, he was true to his words and always kept his promises. He and his self-contended and guest-loving hospitable tribe put forth a legendary effort to help, assist and accommodate the immigrant Mujahideen.

Prior to that, the tribes of ‘Wana’ and ‘Shaqai’ pioneered in accommodating and helping the immigrant Mujahideen and as a consequence bore the brunt of hardships inflicted upon them by Pakistan apostate Army. And when after continuous operations and barbaric bombings the immigrant Mujahideen had to leave Wana and Shaqai; the Mehsood tribe stepped forward rejecting every any pressure, welcoming them and opening their doors for them. Not long after that, the apostate Army of Pakistan in its bidding & obedience to United States commenced its criminal operation, this time against the Mehsood tribe for their so called crime of hosting the Mujahideen.

The operation began with the bombing of a training camp of Mehsood tribe, as a result of which 50 youth were martyred; may Allah's blessings engirdle them. Finally the Army of Pakistan faced a defeat & had to leave the area, & the relationship between Baitullah Mehsood (may Allah have mercy on him), his tribesmen & Mujahideen grew even stronger. By the grace of Allah, such a strong bond of sincerity & love was fostered between the helpers and the immigrants, that their faith, their motives and creed, even their spirits got united.  And all praises are due to Allah.

And we give a glad tiding to the Muslim Ummah that though we’ve lost one of our great men, nonetheless, thousands of men from his tribe are waiting and are more than ready to sacrifice their lives in order to teach the American bandits and their apostate Pakistani helpers a lasting lesson.

‘O America! Listen to the glad tiding of your doom. Martyred BaituLLah has planted a seed of Jihad in his tribe, which you are incapable of ever dismantling.

Amir Baitullah (may Allah have mercy on him) wished for the unity of Mujahideen not only within the tribal areas but all over Pakistan. We are witness to the fact that he placed tireless efforts and gave numerous sacrifices for this cause. Allah blessed his efforts; as a result most of the Mujahideen united under the banner of Tehreek Taliban (movement of the Taliban). And then, in Waziristan a great merger between Wana and Mehsood Mujahideen under the name "Shura_of_Unity_among_Mujahideen" came into existence. One of the signs of his good-ending is that two days before his martyrdom, despite heavy air-strikes of Pakistani fighter jets and American drones, and despite his illness he endured a long journey for the cause of "Shura_of_Unity_among_Mujahideen".

We pray to Allah to accept his efforts and to set his life as a practical example for the Mujahideen leaders after him. After condoling and congratulating the Muslim Ummah and especially Mehsood tribe, we now address the American terrorists and their puppet Pakistani apostates that; we shall never forget the blood of our bold son, and with the help & order of Allah, avenge him.

"Allah is capable of his decisions, but most of the people know not."

And all praises are only due to Allah.
