O Muslim brothers in Turkey, peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Thereafter:

We received with much sorrow the news of Israeli forces killing the Turkish brothers in the Freedom Flotilla. I would first like to offer my condolences to their relatives especially and to the Muslim Turkish people generally, asking Allah, praise and glory to Him, that He embrace them in His mercy, and sustain their families with consolation and patience.

My Muslim brothers in Turkey,

This painful incident requires us, as a Muslim Ummah, to stop and contemplate and derive from it lessons learned. It does not suffice for us to display anger and indignation. This momentous event reveals the nature of the struggle between the Muslim Ummah and its enemies. The siege imposed upon Gaza is one in which America, the global Crusader leader, takes part along with Israel, whose forces are advancing through the land of the Muslims, and the treacherous governments of Islamic countries which recognize and cooperate with Israel and carry out Western Crusader schemes against our Muslim Ummah.

The unjust siege imposed upon Gaza is one of the manifestations of the crimes perpetrated by the Zionist-Crusader campaign against our Muslim Ummah, and evidence of the misery of our situation. This must be changed if we wish to live as a Muslim Ummah undertaking its religious duties and defending its honor and dignity.

We must change this humiliating situation. But this change will not be brought about by sending a few aid shipments, and will not be brought about by staging demonstrations here or there. Change will come if the Turks demand their government to stop cooperating with Israel and recognizing it; stop sending their troops to kill Muslims in Afghanistan, and refrain from waging war against Islam and its Shari’a.

The Turkish people must bear their responsibility to prevent their government from continuing to recognize those who raped Palestine and from persisting in taking part in the killing of Muslims in Afghanistan. The Turkish people must restore the glorious role played by the Ottoman State in defending the lands of Islam in general and Palestine in particular.

The role of the Muslim Turkish people in defending Islam and the Muslims cannot be diminished to merely sending a ship or a number of ships to provide Gaza relief. For five centuries, the Ottomans defended the Muslims and their lands in the face of the greed of the Crusaders. How can their sons’ role be confined to just a few aid shipments?

The Ottoman State sent huge armies and fleets plowing the entire seas to defend any spot of Muslim land that was threatened. How can the role of their sons’ be reduced to sending a ship or a number of ships that sail like a sheep in a sea of wolves?

The Muslim Turkish people must learn their true role in the history and culture of the Muslims. The role of the Ottomans was the defense of Islam. This is the history of the Muslim Turkish people. This is the responsibility which they must recover and the glory they must retrieve.

The Ottoman Turks were the Mujahideen against greedy aggressors, they did not merely grant a few tons of aid. What a difference between the two roles!

My Muslim brothers in Turkey,

You must understand the dangerous role, hostile to Islam and the Muslims, played by your government and army. Your government and army have been converted into tools in the hands of the Global Crusade in its contemporary campaign against Islam and the Muslims. In Afghanistan, the forces of the Turkish army take part in the killing of Muslims, terrorizing them, destroying their villages and burning their homes. Indeed Turkish forces have assumed leadership of NATO forces, meaning they were overseeing the

Crusader campaign to subject Muslim Afghanistan to the rule of the Crusaders, to maltreat them and seize possession of the blood of the children, their holy places and their lands.

In Palestine, your government displays its sympathy with its people in some of their statements, expressions and words. But in action, they recognize Israel and exchange commercial ties, military exercises and security information with it. As for America’s war on Islam under the name “War on Terror”, your government plays an active role in participating with America’s war on Islam. They have arrested many Mujahideen and handed them over to America, where they suffer torture, oppression and torment, then are sentenced to long imprisonment or death. Among the most famous of these is the Mujahid Sheikh Abdul Hadi al-Iraqi, may Allah free him.

This is the dangerous, corrupt role, inimical to Islam and the Muslims, being practiced by your government and your army. What offense did the Afghans commit that they launch this war against them and join with the Crusaders in killing them, fighting them and doing them harm? What injury or offense did the Muslim Afghans ever direct against Turkey or the Turks?

My Muslim brothers in Turkey,

I implore you by Allah and Islam, and by love of the Prophet, prayers and peace be upon him, to oppose these crimes committed by your government and army against Islam and the Muslims. I implore you by the brotherhood in Islam that binds us together, I implore you by the our love for the Caliphate which brought us together and the demise of which, along with the demise of al-Andalus, remain bleeding wounds in all our hearts. Ahmad Shawqi said:

This Caliphate brought us together, defended the Ummah for five centuries from the ambitions and invasions of the Crusaders, defended Bayt al-Maqdis and prevented the establishment of Israel on the ravaged corpses of Palestine. When the Caliphate fell, the attacks of the Crusader wolves intensified against us from every side. They ravaged those parts of our lands they had not ravaged before and Israel was established as a state surrounding captive Bayt al-Maqdis. The armies of the Cross arrived with their open secularism and hidden Crusader-ism and started to tear the body of Islam to pieces.

Turkey of the Caliphate, despite all its maladies, defended us. Now Turkey has become secular and attacks us. Turkey of the Caliphate, despite all its weakness, defended us as best as it could from every greedy one. Now Turkey has become secular and aids every greedy Crusader and shares with them plunder taken from us. Turkey of the Caliphate, despite all its flaws, protected our sanctities. Today, secular Turkey has come to appropriate our blood, our wealth and our sanctities. Turkey of the Caliphate protected and sheltered us.

Today, secular Turkey delivers us to the enemies of Islam, those who insult the Quran and those who mock our Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Turkey was, despite all of its shortcomings and maladies, a symbol of our glory, dignity, sovereignty and unity.

Therefore it is the duty of every zealous Muslim whose heart is full of love for Islam and its Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to cry for that glorious Caliphate and be overcome with longing for its return. Allah willing, it will be a rightly-guided Caliphate following the path of the Prophet.

My Muslim brothers in Turkey,

We must study history to understand the situation. When the conquering Ottoman armies were knocking on the doors of Vienna, the Safavids were conspiring with the Crusaders to stab the Caliphate in the back. Today, the Safavids play the same role in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The new Safavids are collaborating with the Crusaders to stab the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan, but this time – unfortunately! – with the participation of secular Turkey. In the First World War, the English Crusaders stabbed the Caliphate in the back with two Arab daggers, each claiming to have an Islamic call while (working) under the cross of the British flag, and supplied with their gold, equipment and intelligence!

The first dagger was the dagger of Abdul Aziz Al Saud in Najd, who signed the al-Qatif accord with the English at the beginning of the war in which they pledged to Britain their complete loyalty. In returned, Britain supplied them with money and weapons to fight the Ottoman presence in the peninsula. This agreement was concluded with the coordination of the British intelligence officer, Captain Shakespeare, who was killed in the battle of Jirab between Abdul Aziz al Saud and Al Rasheed in 1915. Abdul Aziz Al Saud stabbed the Caliphal State with an English dagger while claiming to be battling polytheism and innovation.

If the spy Shakespeare was accompanying Abdul Aziz Al Saud, then the spy “Lawrence of Arabia” accompanied Sharif Hussein and his son Faisal. The sons and grandsons of Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Sharif Hussein Ibn Ali continued on their path. They continued the alliance of their grandfathers with the English Crusaders against the Caliphal

State in the First World War. They are today allied with the American Crusaders in their war on Islam. Unfortunately, they are this time assisted by the army and government of Turkey. If the scholars of iniquity yesterday issued fatwas, ruled in favor of bringing down the Caliphate, their grandsons today rule in favor of Muslims fighting in the American army to kill Muslims. They issue fatwas permitting conciliation with Israel and issue fatwas against fighting the Americans in Iraq. Indeed they rule in favor of joining (Iraq’s) army, police, National Guard and Awakening Councils. They rule against going forth on Jihad in Iraq, and call for unity of faiths and smile upon and shake hands with the biggest criminals in Israel.

My Muslim brothers in Turkey,

Your government which recognizes Israel, and exchanges trade, interests and delegations, and participates in exercises and training with it, your government which issues some declarations protesting the crimes of the Jews against Muslims in Gaza, commits the same crimes of the Jews against the Palestinians, but in Afghanistan against the Muslims, the Mujahideen, their women, their children, their villages and property. Every zealous Muslim in Turkey must forcibly oppose these crimes which the government and army of Turkey perpetrate against Islam and the Muslims. They must oppose these as much as they can. Turkey must return as a protector of Islam, defender of the Muslims and Mujahid against their enemies.

Here are your innocent sons racing to the battlefields of Jihad and fields of martyrdom and the glories of imminent victory, Allah permitting; in Afghanistan of pride and dignity; Afghanistan of Islam and Jihad; Afghanistan of hijra and nusra; Afghanistan of justice and Shari’a. So support your innocent Mujahideen sons, aid them and follow their example.

Finally we pray all praise to Allah, Lord of all Creation; Allah’s blessing and peace upon our Sayyed Muhammad, his household and his Companions, and peace and the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.
